I’ve travelled to 70+ countries and this is easily top 3 sandwiches if not THE best sandwich I’ve ever had. Absolutely must try - and it’s only €1 for extra meat! Hospitality is also what makes this a must try - the vibe is incredible - the staff are top notch and walking around asking how everything is going and offering hot tea. Incredible service from a seemingly glorified food stall next to a parking lot!

Best kebab ever that I had! I was not and am still not a fan of kebab but I absolutely love Rüyam kebab. They have good service. If you go with a baby stroller, they will come to the window and ask for the order so that you don’t need to carry the stroller inside the shop. They are very friendly and would chitchat with your kids. The kebab is well balanced with vegetables and the sauce as well as the bread. Most kebab that I had were way more salty and somehow I got bored when I ate half of it ( don’t know why). But not this one! I could definitely finish one and feel very satisfied with it. The meat is not too salty for sure and the fresh lemon juice makes the kebab fresh! I would visit again, again and again. It changes the impressions that I had to kebab!

There's a lot of places in Berlin claiming to be the best. I've tried a lot of them, and there's no doubt a lot of exceptional kebab around Berlin, but the atmosphere, people, and, of course, the döner itself here are truly unique and exceptional. If you have a chance... go, the lines that form are worth the wait.

I genuinely don't get why there is a massive queue outside this place. Shocking! Plate looked great except nothing on it tasted good except the side salad in the corner with some cheese. It was just a salad. I forced a few bites in to be polite as a friend invited us there but could not have more & thank God I didn't. Even those few bites left me with a bad stomach. You can't just eat something because everyone else is eating it. Food isn't about following trends. Food is about flavour. It's a no for me.

Excellent food and atmosphere! The staff are so friendly & funny, and they make the vibes just so much better. I got the veggie sandwich and it’s one of the best things I’ve eaten in Germany (I’ve lived here 1.5 years). The flavor combination is really well thought-out and not as common as other places I’ve tried. I will say you should try to get here at an unconventional time because I waited 30 minutes in line just to order and then another 10-12 for food. Was totally worth it, though!

Best vegetarian doner in town, extremely friendly staff. My order got misunderstood (ordered vegetarian and got with meat, partially my fault) but they offered me a new one on the house. Can recommend 100 %

Cool and authentic location with delicious kebab and friendly service! Unfortunately, the waiting time in total was much too long (waiting time until the order and additional preparation time). Nevertheless, the boys and girls behind the weft and the taste deserve 5 stars! Thank you!

Went there twice this week and love the flavours of the Gemüse Kebab (it has meat). The mixed sauces are nice too. The atmosphere is great when they play music and have fun in the store. Free tea is provided and sometimes lollies.

The best doner I have ever eat... All my friends liked their choices... İf you don't eat salt like me; you can feel a bit more salty. Their maps point is amazing and it definetely true. Recommended 👍

A lovely open doner place in Berlin. They have outside and inside sitting A few vegetarian options, a suggestion for which would be to include a protein source (at present the doner and durum both have potato in them and would have benefitted from some falafel or fritters). Otherwise good job ruyam!👍 The staff is quite great and very entertaining! The ayran is a must try!

Definitely the best kebab in the world! Can’t rate how much I loved combination of mint and cheese inside. I tried both versions - gemuse and with meat. Both are excellent. I’m going to Berlin and I know that I will visit this place again 🥰

The best kebap I ever had. I had vegetarian option which they gave me for free. I was lucky because they had a spare one and asked me if I would want it for free. My boyfriend got chicken one. He said it was the best he ever had. Also the baklava was super delicious, not too sweet - just perfect. You can get a tea for free. You will have to wait for about an hour but it's definitely worth it!

This restaurant truly stands out in a positive light. The amicable staff contributes to a welcoming atmosphere, and their service is impressively well-organized. The pricing is reasonable, making it a commendable choice for those conscious of their budget. However, what truly elevates this place is the exceptional quality of their Döner – arguably one of the best, if not the very best, in Berlin. The flavors are truly incredible, leaving a lasting impression that distinguishes this spot as a must-visit for Döner enthusiasts.

I went there after looking at the amazing reviews. The kebab was great! I especially liked the cheese which seemed really fresh as well as the fried veggies. Great job! There was a line, when we went but was worth it.

A very special kebab, like nothing I've ever had anywhere else. All the ingredients are fresh and tasty, with goat cheese, pumpkin and mint sauce or fresh mint inside. Excellent and friendly service. There was a long queue outside. When it started to rain, umbrellas were handed out to customers in the queue. Cash only.

Definitiv empfehlenswert.

I don't know, seems overhyped. Maybe i got carried away by all those priases, and was expecting a life changing experience. But it's just a kebab after all. The only thing that stands out, is the meat. It was...200% flavor. Moist. The meat is the "bang" in this whole operation. Everything is fresh and refreshing. Inside the booth plays very loud music, kinda makes everything unpleasant. The staff is super friendly, and they have a blast at work - they dance and sing. Would i travel half the world just to try it? Hell no. Would i pick it from the whole bunch in the neighborhood? Hell yeah.

This is one of the best Döner Kebab places in Berlin. Most importantly, we waited only 10 minutes to order and receive the food in one of the busiest restaurant. We ordered chicken, vegetable's Döner, and baklava. Both döners had a good amount of chicken and veggies. It tasted very good, and the bread was crispy. Baklava was also good and not too sweet. They offer both Fine in and take away. We loved the loud music, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend. I personally recommend Rüyam over Mustafa (long queue and overrated).

The best kebab in town, no doubts. The quality of the ingredients, the taste and the staff are all just great. And their vegetarian donner is really good. Also the atmosphere of the place is very authentic and lively.

I tried both regular and veggie kebab here and they both were so good. But I would get the veggie one next time because it was very satisfying even though I’m not a vegetarian. The prices were very good too. I’m definitely coming back!

This is a very nice kebab in Schöneberg! Food is fresh, bread is chewy and bit crispy (very good bread compared to average you find), kebab meat is pretty good and most of all the salad mix is very good with taste of lime which really makes the kebab!! On top of all friendly staff, sometimes play music outside for a nice atmosphere! I will return to this place from now on!!!

Worth the wait. Without using any direct meat substitutes the kebab is bursting with flavour, fresh ingredients and refined recipes really shine here. Not to big a fan of the 'yelling out thank you' gimmick though.

One of the best gemüse kebab spots in the city. Exceptional value for the price. Incredibly satisfying. The sauces are quite flavorful. If you prefer to skip the wait, you can opt for this over its closest competitors.

One of the best Döner Kebab in the area, sitting outside while raining was not pleasant though because the tables were dirty, but the food was great. The workers are hilarious, very friendly and every time someone gives them a tip the cashier screams (A Tip) and the rest of them scream joyfully (Thank you). Was wondering to witness, it cheers everyone up including customers.

"Rüyam Gemüse Kebab" in Berlin serves one of the best kebabs in town (definitely in the Top 10)! Fresh ingredients and flavorful sauces make every bite a delight. Highly recommended! 🌯👌

Very good and generous kebab ! The garlic sauce is perfect with the sandwich. They even gave us lollipops while waiting. Very cold to eat outside but worth it. I recommend it!

One of the best Gemüse Döner in town. Not only that the quality is always on point, but the atmosphere from workers is amazing. I also like the fact that one can always find a place to sit and enjoy the food with great music! They really deserve 5 stars ⭐️👍

Possibly the best kebab in Berlin in terms of taste and flavors. Cheap on the wallet in terms of the amount of food you get too! Sometimes it feels like eating here is cheaper than cooking at home!

Great atmosphere, extremely friendly staff. Listened to us patiently and made the order to our liking. They were very busy with takeaway and eat-in orders but kept the line moving swiftly. Offered free tea whilst we waited. Enjoyed the meal and would recommend.

Really good Kebab. May be one of the few "best" in Berlin. A must visit place if you are foodie and want to taste real authentic Berlin "kebab". Amazing taste. Fresh salads. Especially with Garlic sauce. Even though it's usually crowded but i recommend with out any second thought.

For a little over 6€ I got a huge kebab, bread, meat and fresh vegetables perfectly balanced. The sauces were delicious too. The portion is just right if you're very hungry. I loved it. I waited over an hour to get it because the queue was so ridiculously long, but honestly it was worth it. The staff were so sweet and friendly too! They even gave out lollipops to compensate for the wait. Overall great experience despite the waiting.

    • The vegetarian food was delicious and filling. • The service was so friendly even thought they were overwhelmed with customers. • The atmosphere was really hip and cool, so many people waiting in line for their delicious food. * Hope in the future they can offer a vegan dish.

Rüyam Gemüse Kebab might have been the best doner wrap I’ve ever had in my life. Berlin is worldwide know for their delicious Doner but this place takes the cake! The meat was cooked perfectly with a slight crunch and mixed in really well with home style potatos. Then the salad items and sauces are the perfect complement to the doner meat and potatoes, they add great value to the overall sandwhich without doing too much. This is a must visit place if you are in Berlin even for a day. The line was out the door but the wait was well worth it. Definitely will be back here my next time in Berlin.

Best Kebab in Berlin! Fresh, great taste, nice sauces. I prefer the place at Schönhauser Allee which has a nicer seating inside but the Kebab is the same, good.

I’m a Berlin local and have Döner Kebab 🥙 in my blood. I must have had at least a thousand in my life and I give credit when it’s due. I wouldn’t necessarily say it was the best one I’ve had but it’s up there. Prices are around 6/7 EUR and they give you a good portion of meat etc. only con is the long wait time. It took around 40min to place the order and another at least 20min for it to be ready. It’s not that they are slow , they are well staffed but there are too many orders and the queue is always long.

  • 5/5 Ca M. 2 years ago on Google
Atmosphere at the shop is superb! Staff are very friendly and they are smiling at work ;) vegetable kebab tastes great! I like the whole thing and surprisingly there is sweet potato inside :D Such a great deal for 4,1 eur!

Instead of standing in line for hours for other Gemüse Kebab shops, go here! Their kebabs are to die for, much different to other döner kebabs that you will find in other German cities. Good price for good food a must try for every Berlin visit.

Best place to eat Gemüse Kebab in Berlin. That's it. No competition. I was blown away the first time I ate here 🤯 It still tastes the best. PS: They have another branch in PBerg but this one is the original.

The best kebab I've had in my life so far! We waited in the queue for over an hour on a Saturday evening but we didn't really mind it as there was party music playing out loud (great vibes) 😂 The price can differ based on what kind of kebab you choose, we paid 33€ for kebabs for 6 people. I was surprised by the amount of vegetables in my Gemüse Kebab (potatoes!!!!), the sweet sauce the meat was covered in and also the impressive bread!! It tasted nothing like the kebabs I was used to, it's about the whole meal where each bite tastes different and not just about the meat or an overwhelmingly garlic-y yoghurt sauce. 10/10 I still think about this kebab 🥙

  • 5/5 Laura Thaís J. 10 months ago on Google
Honestly the best döner I have ever eaten in my life. Could turn the music a little down, otherwise everything is perfect! The service was super nice!

  • 5/5 Claudemir B. 10 months ago on Google
Street food on another level, in a well-organized store despite the laid-back look; The staff is super prepared and polite. The menu has few options, but it can be customized with the type of meat or with a vegan option, in addition to the different types of season. Gemüse Kebab was my order accompanied by a Turkish soda, they don't sell alcohol and everything is paid in cash. I highly recommend it, I had been without Arabic food for over a year after I had an issue with a Shawarma in Santiago.

  • 5/5 Marian K. 1 year ago on Google
I’d like to taste more and different types of sandwich, but unfortunately I was there after pretty heavy party, so we split the bun in half. Every veggie was delicious, falafel and bun… another level. Free strong blackest tea… real Berlin

  • 5/5 Ralf A. 1 year ago on Google
Hands down the best Döner I ever had. There's a reason this shop has such good ratings. It's very well organized and the food is simply amazing. Unfortunately the popularity means you gotta bring some time. It might take up to an hour to get your food, but if you're not in a rush it's probably worth it.

  • 5/5 Omar A. 1 year ago on Google
I think I found the best Döner Kebab in Berlin! Very tasty and i advise you to try it if you haven't already. Their 90s playlist is awesome and shortens the wait time! BYOB if you are sitting outside

  • 5/5 Liz W. 2 years ago on Google
My German friend took me here on my first day in Berlin in 2017. He said “do not listen to anyone else, THIS, is the best kebab in Berlin”. And he was 100% right. To the point that I regret every occasion that i ordered one elsewhere in Berlin to compare or simply because I was not in Schöneberg. Everyone I’ve taken there since has also been converted and that’s probably 20 people at least. It never disappoints! I recommend the 1st option with everything (mit allem). Be sure to tip, they like that ;)

Best Kebab of my life, the staff was super nice, they were quick and gave out free tea and lollipops in the meantime. Would really recommend, they also have indoor seating which was very pleasant since it was snowing outside!
