We had a terrible experience in this hotel. My husband and I are in our sixties and arrived at night at this place. The receptionist or administration was so unbelievably unfriendly and unkind giving us a small and dirty room for a high price and when we refused to take it she laughed at us. We were so exhausted and tired but we left because we felt humiliated by this woman. Luckily we found a really beautiful place nearby which was worth our money. A staff behavior full of arrogance like this can ruin a place in short time. A good customer service makes a huge difference.

Es ist ein Hostel und Hotel zugleich. Das uns kurz vorm Betreten ein wenig irritiert. Vorm Hotel kann man kostenfrei auf der Straße parken. Wie waren von Samstag zu Sonntag im Hotel. Das Zimmer war sehr gut. Neu. Modern. Sauber. Ruhig. Gemütlich. Statt dem beworbenen iPad gab’s es nur ne langsame Billigvariante im Zimmer. Das Treppenhaus war jedoch eine Baustelle und der Fahrstuhl funktionierte erst ab der 1. Etage. Also Koffer übers Treppenhaus schleppen. Die Beschilderung war nicht optimal und das Baustellengefühl präsent. Bin der Meinung das man dies seinen Gästen mitteilen sollte bzw. da entgegenkommen muss. Preislich war es schon im höheren Bereich. Das Frühstücksbuffet war okay. Also nichts Besonderes, für jeden Geschmack (herzhaft/süss) war was dabei. Preis-Leistung im Hinblick auf die Lage und die Baustelle nicht okay für mich.

Does not provide enough comfort for the price you pay. No private bathroom, you share it with 4-5 other rooms. I chose a room with a double bed but I received a room with a bunk bed. It is 30 minutes away from the city center by car. District doesnt seem like a safe one, I was worried about my car outside 😅 breakfast was included in the price but I did not have such time to have it so I cant rate it. Heaters were working like hell thats nice, hot water was available all the time. There was a sink in the room. Bed was not comfortable enough, it is not soft at all. My room had a wall view through the window. I did not see any fresh thing in the morning 😅 Anyways, other hotels are even more expensive for some reason that I don’t understand so it was the only sensible option for me

I have never had the most disgusting experience. they booked a separate room with a child, but upon check-in we were forced to pay an additional reenka again (they were not embarrassed that during the reservation it was said that children under five years old were free), they looked at the passport, but they demanded money. it was all discussed in a terrible manner. the manager is terribly rude. a set of food for breakfast - poor , cereals and bacon ended and no one updated them, napkins were brought to the common table - only upon request. our door from the room went straight to the construction site, just covered with oilcloth - given that this is a room with a child. in general - stay anywhere - just not in this hotel !!!!

Freundlicher Empfang, nette Damen an der Rezeption, recht anständiger Frühstück. Und am Preis gemessen sehr attraktives Hotel, schön ruhig gelegen und die Sauberkeit der Toilette-Duschkabine am Flur war völlig in Ordnung. Andere Zimmer haben ein eigenes Badezimmer.

Der Start war etwas holprig, aber dann….. Kurzfristiger telefonischer Versuch (21 Uhr) der Buchung direkt im Hotel wurde mit Verweis auf die Hompage abgewiesen. Buchung über booking dann erfolgreich. Alles ab dann war sehr gut. Freundlicher Empfang, sehr modern eingerichtete Zimmer, super Frühstück, Preis-Leistung ausgezeichnet. Das Zimmer war etwas zu warm, der Lüfter lief durch, alles auf Grund der Situation um den Um-/Neubau entschuldbar. Ich komme gern wieder und empfehle dieses Hotel in jedem Falle weiter:

A good place to stay during Berlin marathon weekend. The breakfast was excellent. The room we had was comfortable; good for a bedroom with shared bath. Plenty of hot water and it was reasonably quiet. The room was a little worn, with loose fixtures. There was also extensive construction going on while we were there; since we were out all day that was not an important inconvenience. The neighborhood was good; lots of little cafe’s and stores dispersed through a residential neighborhood. 10 minute walk to the U-bahn. We felt safe in the neighborhood even late at night.

Wir waren für 3 Nächte im Holi Berlin. Unser Zimmer war im Neubau und demnach in einem neuen Zustand. Die Einrichtung ist sehr gut, alles vorhanden was man benötig. Check in/out war sehr herzlich, man fühlte sich sehr Willkommen. Frühstück war sehr gut und umfangreich, Abendessen im Restaurant war sehr lecker. Busanbindung 2 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar oder ca 10 Minuten zum Bahnhof. Mitarbeiter alle sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Sollten wir Berlin nochmal besuchen, kommen wir gerne wieder ins Holi.

Really nice place to stay. We were in the new building, in the brand new room. Super clean, modern, comfortable. Good location, quiet neighborhood. Bed was super comfy. Breakfast was a surprise: really delicious and quality food. I also ate in the hotel restaurant and was sooo good. Staff is helpful and nice. Personally I would appreciate if room would have something extra: hairdryer, kettle, glasses and bath robes ;)

Staff in hotel doesn't speak English. Bed was cracked and it was making noises on every move. Uncomfortable totally

The stay was ok. Service and breakfast was good but the beds were the absolute worst and the cleaning crew starts very early and very loudly talking to each other by yelling room to room, don’t expect any sort sleep past 7:30-8am.

Hotellin taso korkeintaan kohtalainen. Julkisivuremontti esti nukkumisen aamu kahdeksasta eteenpäin, mikä vie loman rentoutumisesta suuren osan pois. Lisäksi vastaanoton asiakaspalvelijat eivät ikinä moikanneet ohikulkiessa tai toivottanut hyvää huomenta aamupalalle mennessä. Huoneesta puuttui esim juomalasit, toki niitä sai pyydettyä vastaanotosta.

Very polite staff, great communication. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Perfect for a short trip. Although it’s kind of far away from the city, about 30 minutes.

Das Hostel ist sehr neu. Im Zimmer waren überhaupt keine Gebrauchsspuren. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Zumindest in unserem Deluxe Zimmer war viel Stauraum, ein riesiger Fernseher und ein Tablet, Absolut genial sind die super weichen und riesigen Duschhandtücher. Der Fahrstuhl ist richtig groß. Genügend Platz für Menschen und Gepäck. Die Lage war für uns günstig aber eigentlich echt weit ab vom Schuss. In Lichtenberg ist nicht viel los. Im Zimmer fehlt ein Fön. Die Küchenzeile ist erbärmlich ausgestattet. Das Frühstückspersonal war überfordert. Vielleicht sollte man die Gäste im Vorfeld fragen, wann sie frühstücken wollen, um regulierend eingreifen zu können. Das Frühstück war guter Durchschnitt.

Super Hotel, man kann mitten in Berlin das Fenster öffnen.... Zimmer sind nagelneu. Frühstücksbuffet klein aber fein, alles was man braucht. Wir haben an einer Geburtstagsfeier im Haus teilgenommen. Essen super, Service könnte etwas flotten sein, hätten dann auf jeden Fall mehr verkauft. Aber es saß niemand zu lange auf dem trockenen. Wir würden das Hotel auf jeden Fall wieder besuchen wenn wir in Berlin sind. LG von Danie und Jörg aus Lampertheim

SUPER friendly staff who arranged everything possible as we were difficult guest with late check-in and early check-out. The hotel itself is very clean, modern, just renovated and located in a quiet area next to the public transport stations Lichtenberg or Nöldnerplatz. Definitely recommend for your Berlin-trip and we will come back for sure.

The price here is fantastic. The building is very clean and new or newly renovated. The breakfast was awesome. They had scrambled eggs, and bacon every day with a whole spread of muscli, bread, and yogurt. The staff is very friendly as well. This place is a great budget friendly accommodation. The location is in a quieter neighborhood about a 5 minute walk from one of the main SBahn lines and a U5 station. Highly recommended.

Could not sleep as the bed was so noisy! Very small room Broken washroom glass doors Staff was so rude stating i delayed some time during check out. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. So regretted my decision of staying here during my vacation!

Wir waren mit mehreren Leuten drei Tage in diesem Hotel. Die Zimmer sind sehr modern eingerichtet.auch das Frühstück, wenn aufgefüllt ist, war gut. Allerdings wussten wir nicht das es sich noch im Umbau befindet. Das heißt um 7h30 kamen die Bauarbeiter und redeten lautstark über den Hof so das wir keinen Wecker brauchten. Im Treppenhaus ,das sehr freundlich aussieht, müsste auch mal gereinigt werden .

Great place to stay for the price. 8 minute walk to the subway. Excellent free breakfast included. Restaurant made us a great dinner too. Rooms are basic but clean.

This place was really really cool, room was clean and squared away. The common area was chill with a fireplace and couches, the patio was close and nice and clean. The dude on the evening shift was awesome guy to sit and chat with ( forgot to ask his name...lol ). It was close to the bahnhof which was good considering how cold it was, stayed there Jan 17th - 19th....lol Would definitely recommend to any traveler and will be staying there again when I come back to Berlin.... Only downside, which has nothing to do with the place is there is construction going on which sucks at 0800 in the morning with a jackhammer and a hangover....lol

I mean, for those who are looking for just the next step up from a hostel but not quite a hotel should maybe consider this. Prices were decent, but not fantastic. Love that they have allowance for pets in designated room.
