Waited 15min in line to say “good evening” to the bouncer, who asked us if it was our first time here - which it was -, and he immediately said that “well it ain’t happen today”. We got thrown out without any reason and without hesitation. Very weird people work there who have no sympathy or empathy at all. Even though their sign says “We all want to have fun together”, it does not apply to the people working there who seemed very annoyed at most people who waited in line there. Very disappointed about this place - I do not recommend this to anyone who does not know anyone working there. Nepotism 101!

Can’t add photos, as photography is strictly not allowed inside, and they put stickers on the camera lens upon entry. I believe it’s a good practice, as it allows folks to detach themselves from their phones and have a good time. If you get inside (because it’s random rejection), this place has really good vibes. I had the best clubbing night in Berlin till date. There are multiple stages/ arenas inside named: HammerHalle, Wintergarten, dampfer and the Beach. I had a great time at HammerHalle and the beach! The DJs performing over there were really talented. I am the one who likes to leave at least by 7-8 in the morning, but the music was so good, that I stayed till 22:30! Inside there are mostly all the amenities which one might need: multiple booths for drinks, pizza-soup-salad options for food, phone charging stations, and even a Spati! I’ll be definitely visiting again, and hope I don’t get rejected :p

Very cool place. Good musix, two stages and cool spots inside. But what I think makes it stands among other clubs is that it has diversity and is more inclusive than most places I saw in Berlin. Which makes it way more fun. You can meet lot of people here

5.2022 Pretentious place. The man dressed as clown from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory film didn’t like our faces. He asked if we had an invitation. We didn’t. Then he showed us our way telling us in a mocking way “Maybe another time” But one of our group is a resident there. We managed to find invitations. After 25 minutes we tried again. When the guy watched us again, became angry, asked again about invitation, we replied we did have, he didn’t believe us, started speaking only to German, became rude and pissed , because we did manage to find a way to overcome his meeting criteria to enter the club. Saying “That’s just Berlin” is not an excuse. No,it’s not ok, to be standing in the line for 2-3 hours and a completely jerk does not let you in because he got sand in his pants… Don’t waste your time, life is short….Find better places. It’s not an achievement to enter sisyphos or other nightclubs.

I was in this club very often and I loved it before and also I always got in. I’m German and I can speak German - maybe that’s why? This Saturday me and a group of friends plus my boyfriend who is black, wanted to go in at 8pm. There was no queue and to be honest we didn’t think of NOT coming in because that never happened to us. But then the bouncer was absolutely racist. The first 3 German friends came in and we, who looked the same with glitter in the face, fitting outfits etc. did not. The guy on the door asked if we were there before and if we speak German or English. After we said yes, we were here before many times, but for my boyfriend he should please speak English because we thought he wanted to explain something - he said „not today“ and after asking why he answered very angry „there is no reason“! Then we had to leave directly. All the people there were so unfriendly and aggressive and racist. He looked at my boyfriend for so long and we were all sure that this was absolutely racist, because we would have come in normally. It is absolutely not acceptable that the club who claims to be so open and friendly for everything and everyone, is sending us away „for no reason“ because we had a black person with us. The „no racism“ signs are just a stupid lie and I will not support this super expensive and racist club anymore.

Best queue in Berlin, good vibes and great people. Came all the way from the UK, and liked it so much I did it 3 times (In the span of 24 h!). They definitely know how to hook you; best toxic relationship since my ex. I found myself looking for validation from the bouncer harder than on Tinder. Definitely recommend if you miss that feeling of despair that is not knowing why he doesn’t love you back!

Denied entry for don’t know what the reason, we were in decent party clothes and not drunk or so, had a short interview & asked us why should let us in?!!!

No pictures inside allowed! But truly one of the best clubs I’ve been to. The music is really good with 2 main rooms (one hard one more funk). Nothing too specific when the event is general so don’t expect to find some breakbeat or even any vinyl work (on a typical night). However as a general and easy club it is a great option. Getting in is also not too much of an issue. Entrance is 25 pp

A good club. However, the club has decided that the moment an aggressive and harassing individual is kicked out such person is no longer their responsibility. The person continued to harass and intimidate women, and others, in front of the club for an hour plus. when we (one male and one female) went inside asking for support of the club staff from being harassed and to ask to simply wait in the line, understanding it was too late to be allowed to enter, we were told to leave and “why haven’t we left already,” “you should just cross the road,” “tell your friends [who we were waiting for] to come out quicker,” and “just avoid the man.” While I understand clubs are not completely responsible for policing the behavior of people the lack of empathy and sympathy shown by the female and male bouncers of Sisyphos was highly disappointing. It was especially disappointing considering I have been living in Berlin for two years and in clubs that present themselves as safe, like Sisyphos, to show a lack of coherence with their supposed values is a disappointment and threat to the safety of clubbing in Berlin.

Nice club, the techno isn't super hard so if you want hard industrial tech you're better off elsewhere. But the space is really nice, feels like a festival almost. The vibe isn't pretentious like some other clubs. The crowd was diverse. So if you don't wanna have to wear all black everything or bondage gear this is the place to be.

Gone a lot of times now, last time to the New years Party 2024 which managed to make me fall for this place again. Incredible 5 floors, no long queue but a pricy entry of 40€. Worth it? As I have prefaced yes, definitely. The multitude of music and venue gives you a lot to explore and enjoy. I loved the disco floor and hope they bring it back more often :) Read a lot of angry reviews that gave one star for not getting in. I have gone 4 or 5 times now and got admitted every time. I guess you should not make a fuss at the entrance

A little bit expensive for the entry, toilets are a bit gross and the food inside is good but also pricey. However, they allow you to bring your own food inside, the music is really good and the atmosphere is fantastic in the summer during the day. The outdoor area they have is very nice for those who are not super into techno, while the inner rooms have a wide range of techno styles playing which make it a club suitable for many people.

There are different stages of techno music. Of course taking pictures is not allowed inside, as in many clubs in Berlin. Overall it was a fun time plus you can give your coat and bag to the check room. Entrance is 25 € and for the check room each item 5€. Also there are food “stands” selling pizza, fries and more!

The club is nice! There is kind of an interview with the bouncer at the entrance. He asks a random question and talks with you. Some have said that you can’t get in if you don’t speak German. That is not true. I speak only French and English. You should not look like a tourist. Get colorful, not classic. Be relaxed. Be discrete. Be nice. You will get inside. Inside the club it’s like an amusement park for adults. The music is great! Honestly you can find very good clubs elsewhere. It’s not worth more than an hour waiting time.

(Translated by Google) It's great to celebrate. But the people in front of us in the queue were turned away by the bouncers, really snooty and disrespectful. The long way, the long lines, the risk and the power games with the bouncers are not worth the fun either. Berlin has enough other (friendlier) things to offer :) (Original) Zum Feiern ist es geil.

Racist!!! Waiting about 2 hour's in the cold midnight in line and then without any explanation throw us out of the line. I was not drunk and put on casual and my German is better than those rude staff, cause I have C2 German certification. The most racist and impolite place I've ever seen. The bodyguard in front of door just look at you and as soon as they realize, you are not German throw you out without any answer why .... Never go there

What a cool venue that keeps you guessing as to what else can be found in its random bizarre corners — the place is huge and has multiple performance areas. Cheap entrance, cheap drinks, amazing music, people are generally nice and are just there to listen to good music. One of my favorite clubs in Berlin.

I was SO excited to finally come to Berlin. Now I am just happy to return to San Francisco where in my 15 years of following the underground House and Techno scene (or frankly in the several other countries I’ve visited to hear music) I have never seen anyone turned away at the door unless they were blatantly drunk/disorderly. The complicated politics of my country drops at the door each night when the music starts and radical inclusion is not just an ideal written in graffiti, it’s a basic given in our scene. I had been whining about many aspects of SF nightlife recently.. hence a large part of my reason for traveling to Berlin, but this morning I am ready to eat my old complaints and hit my scene back home with a deep appreciation for our genuine open-armed value of diversity and nightly outpouring of love for humanity on our dance floors.

Awesome place, I'm not the biggest fan of techno but the atmosphere was so good. Definitely one of the best clubs I've ever been to! I've been told it's hard to get in, but we went there on a Sunday night and there was no waiting line. Apparently it's easier if you go in smaller groups. Good luck!!

Super cool outdoor, with lots of sculptures and lights which make all the shapes and colours at night. Cool atmosphere, people are nice and help each other in there. Drinking in Sisyphos is not that expensive as in other places! Cash only though, there's an ATM inside but it's often broken, so pick up some cash before you go. Be aware, they do selection at the entrance!

Coolest night club I've ever been to! Festival vibes all the time! Funky tunes 24 hours a day all weekend long! Amazing 3D mapping visuals and very creative decorations everywhere. So much love went into making this club so special! This is a must- visit place!

Super cool place. Besides all the lowers reviews, we were able to manage to enter the place. The gatekeeper ( I will call that), was rude in a character way, I think it is more as a role than it looked liked. Just a few question and at the end I was in! They demanded us to put some paper in our cellphone camera. The environment was really good, the beer was expensive a little bit for Berlin standard, but this is ok. There are 3 environments with nice music, good people, nice beers and empty bathrooms!! There was no line to enter, I arrived at 21:00 in a Saturday night. Ps: I’m a black person, no racist people at all!!

I believe this club is the best one of Berlin. There is a dress code and probably you can be denied to get in. There are different kind of rooms with different styles of electronic music. The good thing is that the place is not so Crowded, so you can walk and "breathed" sometimes. I recommend to you get in on Saturday evening but feel free to "taste" in different times.

Cool berlinner nightclub that has a festival vibe going on. Be aware that everyone is trying to skip the line by pretending to go to the bathroom and then cut the 1.5 hour line up to that point. Also the bar and foodcourt is understaffed so there can be a wait for drinks and food. And it's cash only, really old skool!;)

Dafür lieber gerne in andere Clubs.

I was invited by my friend (who is a local) to this place as he said it was his favorite club in all of Berlin. We arrived at 9PM and queue'd for three hours to make it to the door. My friend gave me a run down of what goes on at the front before you get in - a VIBE CHECK. I'm from California where "vibe checks" aren't really a thing. This club lets a type of person in if you fit the "VIBE". Fortunately, we got in. I can see why. There are no bad vibes in there and everyone there is there to have fun. There's one goal for everyone and it's to party hard to techno. There are different stages to fit what you're feeling as well as a convenience store and food inside. Great local artists that have a specific sound I haven't found anywhere else.

Sick club. Cool interior, lighting, funky outdoor area. Would recommend over Berghain based on the fact they seem to let more people in. That said, nowhere in Berlin is 100% chance of getting in. It's better to only queue if the line is relatively short, otherwise you risk wasting time in the queue and then having to go elsewhere.

Incredible experience I had an amazing time, danced liked never before and met so many amazing people. It's more than a club it's a community, mini festival and space for free expression. There are multiple stages with all types of music ranging from down tempo, to house, to acid techno and hard techno. I loved the acidic cosmic sound of many of the sets and quality sound systems. Inspired by the ambience I even created a new dance style I call Robot Flow ;) The atmosphere is beautiful with ambient lighting, art, a cafe, fireplace, a fish pond, food and even a place to make your own coloured t-shirt and get some life advice. Even a naked tea party. It's beautiful to see such a colourful, unique expression of humanity all celebrating together during the not-birthday. It's like an ecstatic playground in a way. I was dressed as myself, in track pants and colourful sport shoes, a blue beanie, hooded black jumper and jean jacket, ready to dance, not in exuberant party clothes or anything. With all these clubs I think the dress code is just an indication of your state and emotional awareness of the situation you are entering, the best advice truly is to be yourself. Highly recommended, we need more spaces like this in society!

Also ja!

Current policy is entrance without pre bought ticket but paying a 25 euro -strictly cash, no cards- fee at the door if you're let in. The 25 euro price wasn't described anywhere on the website and we didn't have enough cash so we were told to leave immediately after queueing for 1.5 hours. Very disappointing.

I went twice during the non-birthday event. Entry did not seem that difficult despite some of the negative reviews here, but that may be because the events are now ticketed due to Covid. As an example, on the Friday a group of 8 or so Irish tourists in front of me got in. I found that mildly surprising as they did not seem very interested. I did feel that the crowd was not so great on the Friday, perhaps as a result of more leniency. The queue was quite long at over an hour but this was definitely the worst time to enter across the weekend so it could've been worse. The door staff were fine. The bar staff were all very pleasant. I returned on Sunday afternoon without a ticket and was able to get in after a short queue because I had been there on Friday. I think I would have been rejected otherwise. I am very thankful for the staff here because it resulted in one of my best club nights ever. The crowd was amazing, everyone was open and friendly. I entered the club alone and left with new friends. The music was definitely better with Hammerhalle becoming seriously heavy, to my preference. There is coffee and food (pizza and fries) on site at very reasonable prices. The pizza is also very good. The garden area is beautiful and the stage there was a nice break from the heaviness of the main hall. TLDR: go on Sunday afternoon for the best experience. This is the Berlin way.

Went there with a bunch of friends when the Berlin clubs started opening again. There was no security keeping the crowd in place and it got super messy and dangerous because the crowd kept pushing the others to get in. It’s not an understatement to say that I could barely move and not even get my phone from my pocket. Absolute madness and I get that it’s a popular spot but I would have expected the club owners to have put some measures in place to take care of the crowd. Was stuck in the crowd for nearly 5 hours and then finally decided to leave the madness.

Music was nice and varied techno/tech house. The interior decoration looked good. Unfriendly security in general - it's a different thing to have a door policy than to be impolite and egoistic. At 25€ with no possibility for re-entry, it's overpriced. Berlin does have better clubs, so probably not going here again and wouldn't recommend this as the first (or the second, for that matter) option to anyone.

The inside is good, 15€ to get in and the drinks aren’t too expensive, pretty nice atmosphere, but the bouncers could use a lesson or two in manners. Actually they’re downright snobby and disrespectful, funny to think about when the motto here used to be freedom of self. Anyway would recommend if you want to dance, wouldn’t if you appreciate being treated decently.

This is in my opinion one of my favorite nightclubs in Berlin, of course, almost all interesting nightclubs in Berlin have the possibility to choose the crowd and dress code, I don't think it's bad, people who are rejected in line, should do it well in advance Be mentally prepared, don't say racist or personal attacks just because you are rejected, this is a form of vulnerability, because the choice of the crowd depends on the overall atmosphere of the last queue, at least so far I have Every time I come here, I feel very happy, good music and a lot of space, and the comfortable crowd. The comfortable crowd depends on their choice. I am convinced of this, and I would like to come often, even if there is a future One day, I too will be rejected.

If you like techno, you will know that the Berlin hosts some great music. If you know this already, or would like to find out, give this place a try. Book tickets in advance, or be confident in your blagging skills, as casual tourists and large groups are less than welcome. There are no mod cons here, it's a derelict block. Bare brick walls, barely identifiable loos, and a fire pit in the courtyard. Endearing stuff. But that's not what you are there for. I like techno.

(Translated by Google) A place with so much love and warmth! The bouncers have a good sense of who has the appropriate mood for the respective evening. I cannot understand the accusations of racism, because anyone who has been there before knows that in Sisyphus the entire Sesame Street celebrates together and has a good time. And yes, the queue can be long, but if you're going to prime time, don't be surprised. (Original) Ein Ort mit so viel Liebe und Herzlichkeit! Worst club experience I have ever had. Standing 2,5 hours (after we also spend 1 our in the tube to get there) in the que just for us to leave at the entrance. No idea why, looks like we were "not casual enough". Also no card payment, cash only, while you can't even look that up online. I didn't see the inside, but I am glad. If you go to Berlin, don't go to this place, not worth it.

Went last year and loved it. This year’s experience was so different: huge aggressive crushing queue, same music on most floors, no sense of euphoria, poor energy management by the DJs. Was ok, just not worth that queuing experience.

25 euros for entrance is excessive. No stamp to get back in the next day, like the way it used to be. Price was nowhere to be found online. Staff at the door were rude and uninterested, even for Berlin standards. The sound system is great tho

Party was pretty nice but its totally unresponsible to have such a huge party without an Awareness-Team. As we experienced, there is a obvious need for that. Especially when the club is claimed as a “leftist” safer space for everyone. Also 25€ entrance fee and the prices for the drinks are heavy.

Fantastic place. If you're anywhere near Berlin and into electronic music you owe it to yourself to visit it. Once in a lifetime experience to be there for the first time. It's hard to mention and describe everything that Sisy is. Be a bit smarter about when to go and you'll get in faster and easier. Other than that, no worries.

One of my favourite clubs in Berlin, I really had a good night of techno on the main room. You have 3 rooms, one with more happy kind of music, the other's two with techno. Huge space outside and during the winter they have some fireplace. During covid times please make sure to wear your mask when reaching the security and have your stuff ready, they won't wait for you too search for your covid certificate and will kick you with no mercy. If you don't want to wait the best time to go is around 10pm.

Great club!! Amazing atmosphere, good music en really nice people! We arrived sunday around 9 pm. There was a really short line, bouncer asked us if we had been there before (we hadn’t) and what brought us there, but entering went easy. Definitely want to come back the next time we’re in Berlin!

Recommended by a lot of people but in my opinion not totally worth it - main room feels outdated, bar personnel is incredibly slow and music isn’t that good. Other than that interesting crowd and nice overall ambiance - probably even better in summer when there’s outside partying

1h/2h queue, which is fine. Cash only, staff could be nicer, feels like they’re doing you a favor. 3 stages with diverse techno genres. Location is pretty, festival like. Give it a try.

Nice party place in Berlin with some hidden corners to explore. Good and well organized entry policy. No cameras allowed, as it should be. Quality music and good sound equipment. 3 dance floors. Acceptable prices and professional personnel.

Great club with amazing ambient scenery and great music. I was nervous, because I hadn't been to a techno club ever before, but people there where some of the nicest I've ever met. Would highly recommend both for groups and solo

A Berlin institution of sorts, and simultaneously a self-sustained ecosystem of vice as well as a communal endeavour to have continuous fun. It is a must amongst local and international clubbers alike, and not for the brief of heart. Go for a few hours to enjoy it as intended. Note: bring cash, get a disco mate, the bathrooms are awful but efficient, and remember to tip your bartenders.

Most wonderful experience! Spent my weekends here when I studied abroad at the Freie Universitat last summer. Incredible ambiance, conversations, and employees! Would definitely recommend! Booked my trip back to Berlin this summer cannot wait for another 48 hours in Sisyphos ?

Super cool atmosphere, the place is incredible every corner is special, each detail is perfect. It was raining when we were in the waiting line to get in the club so they provided umbrellas to protect ourselves from the rain. Staff also very nice.

(Translated by Google) One of the coolest clubs in Berlin. The outside area is awesome, especially when it's nice and warm. Here you can dance on the beach right by the pond and enjoy the summer. It almost feels more like a festival than a club. Even now during Corona times, the hygiene rules are all in all well implemented. I definitely recommend it if you want to dance outdoors to good music.

They've redesigned the club since I last been nearly 2 years ago, and it's awesome. Really nice crowd. Staff are awesome (99% of time and at least compared to Berlin). Not sure if I haven't been out properly in a long time or what, but I'm definitely enjoying going here more than the idea of berghain. Will probably go to berghain again and change my mind, but for the time being, I at least had so much fun there last time. Crowd is a touch on touristy side, but it's harmless rather than annoying (unlike first 12hrs of bergs for example).

If you’re not a local or a recurrent client of this nightclub, don’t bother. The inside seems nice but you won’t even see it if you aren’t a regular, they will throw you out if you are new. Wished to have been attended better or to know the rules before waiting 40min in line.

The gatekeeper is extremely rude. This club is one of the worst nightclub in term of welcoming people. If you are not a local or not a regular clients, the gatekeeper will just snobe you in a very unpolite way. The club looks very nice inside but to be honest I will never come back just because of the gatekeeper who are so rude with people just for the pleasure of being rude. I really do not advice this club, the gatekeeper is also extremely racist. i saw another group being rejected just like that because they were not German. Really disappointed by this kind of behavior!
