We had a fried currywurst from a random food vendor that was better than this one, dripping in an average sauce, I have 0 clue why this place is so highly reviewed, I’m baffled as my experience wasn’t worth of anything more than 3 stars. Staff were blunt and abrupt, sausage was just that, a sausage, could barely taste the curry? It was fine

My first meal after landing in Berlin and it did not disappoint. The prices are very affordable although higher than other wurst spots. I got the Currywurst with fries, ketchup and mayonnaise. The wurst was covered in flavorful curry powder. The mayo was amazing and extremely rich. All in €8.50 and they take card which is rare in Berlin.

Best value! The fries were just as good as any in Belgium and the wurst was delicious. For a price of 4€ very generous and got to try two different types. Service is quick! Be aware and have cash on hand.

One of my favorites Currywurst in Berlin. Each store has its own Currywurst sauce, and I really like the sauce from Curry36, which is a bit closer to a fresh tomato sauce than the usual/avarege ketchup. As almost every traditional Currywurst store, you eat standing up. It's a bit pricy compared to others good Currywurst stores, but nothing exaggerated.

Good vegan curry wurst. The price is fair, and the food is good. The only drawback is that there usually a very long line on the weekends.

Knackig! Würzig! Anders! Mhhhh lecker Currywurst, diese Institution in Berlin hat nicht umsonst den Kultstatus verdient. Wahnsinnig lecker ist vor allem die Wurst mit Darm. Fürn Vegetarier/ Veganer gibt es hier sogar eine vegane Alternative. Eine ganz klare Empfehlung meinerseits, muss man einfach mal gegessen haben!

Ein ewiger Klassiker. Das Vorbild für jede Currywurst, ohne mich an Klischees zu bedienen. Es ist aber wirklich so. Die Currywurst ist einer der besten. Oft gibt es eine längere Schlange, aber zu passenden Zeiten kommt man auch schnell dran. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und der Verzehrbereich ist Imbiss-freundlich. Auch zu Empfehlen ist die Bulette mit Senf. Meiner Meinung nach die beste Alternative zur Currywurst und auch wirklich sehr lecker! Hier war, bin und werde ich noch öfters sein.

We chose the regular and the vegan currywurst options. The latter wasn't something special, just ok. But, if you're vegan I think it's good to have the opportunity to taste it. The regular was better, more tasty and crunchy outside than other currywurst around Alexanderplatz for example. Worth a visit if you're nearby.

Best place go eat Currywurst in Berlin. A Vegan option for people who don't eat porc/meat. It is the perfect meat to try the meal. The fries and nuggets are good. Good to know: you can't eat inside.

Clearly a local favorite. Constant flow of patrons the whole time I was there. If you’re looking for affordable selection of local sausages, this place is great - obviously, the currywurst is the signature dish :) Standing tables only, so not great if you’ve got small kids, but otherwise, tasty, affordable selection of sausages.

Got into Berlin late, nothing was open except Curry 36. It was amazing. The fried were crispy and well seasoned on the outside, hot and moist on the inside. The staff was friendly, helpfully, and knowledgeable. The cost was unbelievable. Try some excellent food when you visit Berlin, tell them I sent you.

An essential destination to experience authentic German currywurst. While there are numerous Curry 36 outlets throughout Berlin, this particular one stands out as one of my favorites. Do note that it can get quite busy at times!

Came around 11pm on a Thursday, still crowded, but almost no line. We got the two sausages platter with ketchup, came with fries too. It’s the typical soul food you would want from Berlin, very satisfying as late night snack. I would only wish the curry could have more savory spicy flavor, it’s too sweet for me.

Right next to Mustafa’s gives them an edge as some people like me couldn’t wait the Kebab’s queue and ended up trying their curry sausages instead. However it is not outstanding as expected, and honestly you’d get better ones from the Christmas market.

Many reviews stated that this is a must try place for Germany sausage. I tried the vegan hotdog but not surprised me. I guess those reviews on google were mentioned about the non vegan sausage.

They have other locations around Berlin, but this is the one you want to go to. The portions are big. If you end up getting 2 sausages with French fries bring an appetite. The bread roll is great as a lighter option. Also add a bit of spice, it makes it a way better meal! If you are looking for the best Curry Wurst in Town this is the Place.

I’m a local and the food is ok. Pretty standard, not better than other local Currywurst places. It just appears in tourist guides but curry 36 is highly overrated

Ich habe hier in der Mittagspause auf Empfehlung eine vegane Currywurst gegessen. Der Laden macht auf mich optisch eher keinen ansprechenden Eindruck. Das Aufnehmen und zubereiten der Bestellung hat etwas länger gedauert. Preislich war es okay. Geschmacklich hat es mir leider gar nicht geschmeckt. Die Wurst war frittiert und von außen recht hart. Zumindest die vegane Currywurst würde ich deswegen nicht empfehlen.

I tried the vegan curry wurst. It was not bad but the sauce was bitter. Regardless, the staff was super friendly, the location is great, everything was clean and I got my order pretty quickly.

Solide Currywurst. Die Pommes waren lecker und knusprig, für meinen Geschmack hat allerdings etwas Salz gefehlt. Die Wurst und die Soße schmeckt ganz okay. Für den Preis alles in allem eine angemessene Leistung.

The only reason I'm not giving Curry 36 a full five-star rating is because the standing options were limited, and finding a place to stand during peak hours can be challenging. However, the quality of the food more than made up for this minor inconvenience.

Do not go to this place if you are vegan. We ordered vegan currywurst. Made sure to say we wanted vegan curry 5 times. I noticed him putting the normal mayo even though we asked for vegan mayo as well so we asked him to fix it. After the first bite we realized it was real meat and not vegan, even though we confirmed it was vegan many times. Once we returned the food, the people who worked there got mad at us for no reason and were reluctant to give our money back.

Famous Currywurst! Very closeby Mustafa Gemüsekebab. Get an additional Currywurst after your Kebab:) Take the Currywurst with 'Darm', it makes the sausage more crispy and gives it a great texture!
