Vier selbstgebebraute Biere vom Fass. Respekt!

After I came through the door I was greeted with a sarcastic: "is there a way to help you?" I tried to be polite, after this clear provocation and just said that I would like a table. In the same sarcastic way the waiter replied:"I am not a carpenter!" They then looked at each other and congratulated themselves for this very fine piece of joke making. Since they only serve you a beer when you are at a table, and the stand up comedian forgot his tools to make us a table (him being the only tool around), we had to look for another place to drink a beer. When we were leaving they were a bit more helpful and said: "maybe going for a walk will help clear up a table." This very fine and helpful service made this short lived stay at Eschenbräu one of the highlights of my trip to Berlin. If you are lucky enough to get a table please go there and enjoy the show provided by the monkeys they enlisted as barcomedians. At least they are proud of the service they provide. It is always nice to see people that enjoy providing us with excellent customer service.

A brewery with a beer garden outside, although it is most of the time full of people, it is a great place to hang out with friends and enjoy the summer. We tried the two different seasonal beers they offer. Both were quite nice, refreshing. However, it did take quite a long time for our Flammkuchen to come to the table, due to a lot of costumers. The waitress told us, we could pick something from the imbiss and bring it here with us. That's pretty cool they allowed it. It is cash only, so be prepared.

Really nice outdoor "public house". Missed out on their Hefeweizen, but the AltBerliner Dunkel was excellent. Special thanks to both our servers, they were wonderful and helped us tremendously. Thank you!

One of my favorite breweries in Berlin. They offer seasonal homemade beer and whiskey, very delicious. My favorite is Panke gold, and the coffee flavored beer during the summer. Roter wedding is very good but not for everyone since it is a bit bitter. There is a wide variety of snacks, such as the classic Flammkuchen, Pretzels, Obazda and more. This place is very special to my heart because of how cozy its atmosphere, their outdoor outdoor garden with beautiful lights and laughs during the summer, and an underground warm area full during the cold winter months. The brewery is huge and can take big groups of friends and is usually open until midnight. I have been going there for years, and everyone is super friendly, so do yourself a favor and visit this brewery sometime

This could be easily the place with the rudest people I have met in my life. If you dare to ask any questions they look at you as if you are retarded and they are something superior. The beer is below average also, to say the least. Also, they tried to rip us off and charged us €20 for two beers, the price per beer was €4.10 according to the drinks menu.

Best beer I had in Berlin. Welcoming people and spacious place. They also have a separate smoking area which is a rare find.

Tucked away in the heart of Wedding, Eschenbräu is a delightful surprise for beer aficionados and casual drinkers alike. As you step through its main entrance, you're instantly whisked away to what feels like a magical tent – their enchanting biergarten that promises both respite and revelry. Their brews are exceptional, with the Panke Gold standing out prominently. It strikes a harmonious balance between body, color, and bitterness, and it's a testament to their brewing prowess. The staff here are the heart and soul of Eschenbräu. Their genuine friendliness and dedication elevate the entire experience, making each visit truly special. A slight drawback is the limited food menu, with flammkuchen being the sole offering. However, it's a dish they've mastered. It's flavorful, satisfying, and offers good value for your money. In summary, Eschenbräu is a gem in Wedding, offering an unparalleled beer experience with a touch of magic.

Despite the fact, some of the Google-reviewers complained about the lacking service qualities, I visited the brewery and well… was faced with just the stated conditions. It seems the beer’s quality seems to have a higher impact on visitors decision making than the service they’re receiving. Well in my case the waitress was not quite able to hand back the right amount of money. I ordered a beer, a soda and a bottle of their whisky (+3€ tip) for 65€, I payed with 100€ in cash, since they don’t accept any card payment, but received only 25€. After mentioning that I don’t quite think this calculation is right, she handed me the missing 10€.

Pretty busy on Saturday night. Ordered Panke gold (with citrus note). They do have a beer of the month. The Hefeweizen was great.

Malt whisky distilled and served in Berlin's Wedding alongside apple, cherry, and plum brandies, Bavarian snacks, beer, and so on. They do show live sports, but the atmosphere is set by a subdued and sombre drinking crowd. Probably well-suited to couples and families with older children.

A brewpub located in a basement. The beers were alright, the service - pretty average. The place was also super crowded on a Saturday evening. Would definitely avoid visiting at peak times.

I had a fantastic time at the bar in the brewery. The service was prompt and the staff were incredibly welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed the California sunset and Rotter Wedding beers - they are certainly must-tries. While the onion pizza was just okay, the overall experience was great. I highly recommend visiting this charming establishment.

Tarte flambee was good, the wheat beer was average in taste (but I would take another). The service was very poor. The waiter who showed us to our table miraculously had time to eat a piece of pizza at that moment. Waiters also didn't come to our table for an hour, only when i asked something myself from the bar.

Despite being almost completely full, the friendly waitress found space for 2 of us. Service was incredibly well-organised for how busy it was in the beer garden. Beer tastes amazing, although the California sunset not my kind of beer. Prices are great and you can pay by card. Entrance was a little hard to find, so it's a real hidden gem in Wedding.

I love the place. In summer go for a drink monthly is my routine. All the beer are tastes good, but for me the Panke Gold 2.0 is No.1, love the fruity flavors, fresh and attractive.

A gem of the Wedding area: locally brewed beer, tasty Flammkuchen, great atmosphere and a cute beer garden. Huge selection of seasonal beer options for all tastes and at a very good price. In addition to the beer, they produce their own whiskey and juice.

Really good place with lot of homebrews. The whisky was really great, must try. The beers were as good as the whisky. Brandy was okish. But the over all place and the outdoor sitting area is quite good.

This biergarten has great atmosphere and service. The food is good for a biergarten. The beer was very limited for a biergarten, however, the beers available we great. Overall, we had a lot of fun, and the place really deserves a visit.

For sure one of the best beers of Berlin, good selection also! Unfortunately the food was a bit tasteless, so maybe go only for a drink. 🍻 Very nice atmosphere and superb service! 👌

For the brewery, I'd rate them 5 stars, really tasteful, with their own spin on classic formulas, which is great in such a traditional country for beer as Germany (wish I could have tried the California Sunset, which wasn't available anymore when I had arrived). Yet, the biergarten service is a bit confusing at times, even though the waiters try their best. Don't expect your food to arrive in time to accompany your beer, but the relaxed atmosphere is worth a visit.

One of my favourite places to drink in Berlin. Delicious, unpretentious beer selection that changes with the season. Friendly, fast service no matter how busy it gets. And you can bring your own snacks.
