Breaking open cupboards and valuables compartments was reduced through renovations. The hygiene conditions are maintained in the very good and diverse sports and sauna area with expert staff. Occasionally irregular infusions. Relaxation is sometimes neglected because a lot of water with a scent is quickly “poured on”. Some male guests with a particular culture often cannot find the place to put their used towels and the staff has to clean up. A big positive aspect is, in addition to the sports and sauna area, the cosmetics and massage area is also served by Jasmin. Body and mind are treated commendably well here with peace and expert treatments. Despite the small restrictions that are gradually being eliminated, a recommended place to switch off with a wonderful ambience in Berlin-Spandau!

I am paying more than 100 euros every month, yet they often have no towels available. Today, there were no towels available at all, so I had to go back home without using the facilities. Furthermore, the attitude of the staff was incredibly disappointing. Very disappointed.

I know Germans don’t wanna hear it, but one little area without FKK would be great for those among us who struggle to relax while being relentlessly STARED at by other naked guests. Free body culture shouldn’t mean free to perve at you culture. It’s creepy and uncomfortable. Even the pool is FKK. Great foot massages, though, and you can keep your robe on.

My last review 5 months ago was read over 11,000 times. Since then, a lot of new members have joined. Because there are so many people, I no longer feel completely comfortable and I have a guilty conscience that my last rating is also the reason for the overcrowding. The spa area is often crowded from the afternoon onwards. When you're training, people are impatiently standing in front of the equipment you're using and passive-aggressively signaling you to hurry up. This bothers me when training. I don't have anything against the new mass of members, but then you should also make sure that there is enough equipment for muscle building. I signed my contract back then because I was assured that as a woman I would be allowed to enter the steam sauna with a short towel. But now after 6 months I'm told that it's suddenly no longer possible. It's really unpleasant when a boy who works there suddenly comes into the steam sauna and asks me, as a woman, to take off my towel immediately. I was very uncomfortable and felt harassed. Unfortunately, the courses I like fill up very quickly. Of course, Meridian is still a great place in itself, but I personally am no longer as happy as I was six months ago and will soon be terminating my contract.

I feel very comfortable, there is a lot on offer for membership because I have the comparison. The staff is courteous and friendly. Everyone should be aware that “complaining” is always possible, but “talking to each other” is better, and just accept decisions. Great courses are offered, there really is something for everyone.

Fantastic facilities, awful entrance staff. We always have trouble getting in. Most recently, a full 30 minutes with my mother and girlfriend arguing with the desk staff over our IDs: "German identity cards are required". Our UK drivers license, passport, both not accepted. Note: this place is owned by a British company (David Lloyd Clubs)! After showing them our rental contract for our apartment and also our permanent residency documents in our passports, the manager finally let us in. Consider we have been going for 5 years and are already registered in their system. Utterly absurd, and a great way to get stressed out before using the spa. Once you are inside and don't have to deal with the staff, it's great. For us, no longer worth the stress and wasted time at the door however.

Eigentlich ein sehr schöner Ort, aber auch nicht allzu Günstig. Pro Person 48,00 EUR. Bitte beachten Sie, dass in den Whirlpools nur Ohne Kleidung rein gegangen werden darf. Für mich und meiner Frau war das leider eine komplette Umstellung. Dort gibt es ein Schönes Restaurant, Kellner sehr Freundlich und das Essen war Lecker, eine Etage oben gibt es ein wunderschönen Entspannungsbereich.

I go there 3-4 times per week and it is always a great experience. The staff is friendly & they speak English too, the place is clean and organized. I am super happy that I got the Platinum membership. It includes access to the gym, wellness area, towels, drinks, lockers and 10% off on anything you buy there.

They have horrible customer support. They never answered my phones, but yet I pay 89 euros each month. My contract was automatically renewed 3 months upon completion of 1 year. Now I have to pay for another one whole year, although I cannot visit due to health problems.. Never again Never again.

95% grandparents, 25€ for 3 hours is too much. Plus parking. I didn't liked. And its look not very nice. I didnt understood why 25€ for that. Better 20€ for all day in Thermen-Europa. And they want passport all datas! Unbelievable why my person code?????

I was there at the end of November , since then I am waiting for the money refund as I was charged by mistake the entrance fee even though I gave a voucher for that. The girl at the reception called their supervisor in front of me and confirmed the refund would be issued promptly. 6 weeks later - no refund , no update , no response to my numerous emails.

Was told with diamond membership would have full access to all other David Lloyd's clubs. Went to the Berlin club and had to pay multiple extras that are specifically mentioned as included in a diamond membership (e.g. refill of water bottle at fountain and towels). I would advise going to another gym like Third Space instead where I never encountered any issues. Will likely look for options once my 1 year membership expires.

Just because I can not give minus stars - horrible place and service. This David Lloyd Meridian Spa Berlin ist just terrible and absolutely not recommended. We bought a day spa ticket. First they wanted from us more money from the ticket as somehow pires changed. Our tickets were valid till 2026!!!!! Then they did not let us in because we did not have the ID card, they need or addresses, driver license was not enough. Btw - Real adresses are also not on the ID. Just incompenten people and terrible organization. Not worthed 1€ Customer service should be changed entirely.

Has caught himself. Cleanliness has improved significantly. Most of the “construction sites” have been completed. Broken devices are usually repaired within a week or two. Audience is pleasantly mixed.

Today was a special event, with many highlights, oriental dance performances on the sun terrace. Special sauna infusions with salt peeling and honey care, steam sauna with peeling and subsequent full body massage. I really liked it, it was relaxing and nourishing for the skin, pleasant smelling care oil. The event was very well received by the guests. Thank you to the Meridian Spandau team! April 5, 2024 I still really enjoy going to the David Lloyd Club almost every day, taking classes with Cyclone, Blaze, Ignite Strike, etc. Meditation with singing bowls is also offered and that relaxes me a lot before my work.

Work on your website. Work on your people. How outdated their process is, you have to go in person about the prices and etc. Is this something we can do online? Its 2022??? I went there before and my time was quite wasted for something you can actually add on your website.

This gym is the best gym ever! They are very clean, the staff is really helpful and friendly. They offer a variety of amazing classes in different themed rooms, which is super cool. All the machines you can use are brand new and high quality. They also have a huge, beautiful wellness / spa area with hot tubs, saunas and a big pool. If you are thinking about joining a gym, you definitely want to check this one out before signing somewhere else!!! Fantastic 10 / 10

Es war ein sehr schöner Tag, in einem sehr schönen Ambiente. Gerade die beiden Mitarbeiter Chris und Pavel machen ihren Job hervorragend und bringen einen dabei richtig schön ins schwitzen, bei den Aufgüssen. Auch ansonsten wird sich um einen richtig gut gekümmert und man fühlt sich sehr gut aufgehoben. Es ist einfach toll, noch einen so schönen Rückzugsort in Berlin zu haben, an dem man einfach mal vom Alltag abschalten kann und die Gedanken treiben lassen kann. Einfach immer wieder ein schönes Erlebnis. Definitiv zu empfehlen!

Der Aufenthalt im Meridian war sehr sehr angenehm. Alles war sauber und ordentlich und man hat sich gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Insbesondere Noah war sehr freundlich und kompetent. Everything under the roof, fitness and wellness

Yesterday afternoon I visited the Meridian Spa because I was redeeming a massage voucher. At reception, Noah welcomed me with a smile and explained everything about my stay. Yannis was also very friendly and helpful. It immediately put you in a good mood. The massage was with Sandrina. Wow! We recommend. She is super personable, responds to your wishes and gives a really great massage. You feel like new afterwards. Before/after you will be offered tea or water. The studio itself is very clean and well organized. All in all a 10/10.

A quiet oasis in the midst of a noisy city. There’s no other place alike in town. It’s easy to get to as the train station is 5min away, you can power yourself out either in one of the many classes they offer (I love blaze, rhythm and spirit), then go and relax either at the pool, sauna, rooftop terrace or even at their restaurant or snack bar in house. You can spend all day here and have a mini vacation of hectic life. It is my hidden gem 💎 can highly recommend!

Great for some relaxation time. Multiple saunas and whirlpools available, however all without swimming clothing. Big swimming pool, partially outside. A lot of deck chairs available. There are also some Aqua-Aerobic classes.

I think it's very nice here and everything about it is also great for people who work shifts. The only stupid thing is that you have to go into the hot tub naked. You can also wear a towel in the sauna.

The Fitbar at Abi is the highlight in the whole house. After every training he prepares the best shakes. Super friendly guy who is easy to talk to. Simply recommended!!!! I like coming to the gym because you can unwind afterwards.

No matter whether before (coffee) or after (protein shake) training, it's worth ordering something from Abi at any time. He also responds to special customer requests that are not on the menu. Super cool guy always in a good mood and infects others with it!!

One of the best spas in Berlin, with nice pool and sauna area and friendly staff. It's a bit on the outskirts of the city but with the U7 train easily reachable. I enjoyed the outdoor swimming area and taking the sun in the pool. The spa gets quite busy on the weekends, so weekdays are always a better choice. Overall an enjoyable experience.

The gym is nicely furnished with everything you need, not too crowded & very clean. However, unfortunately you hardly ever see a trainer on site, so after a month of membership I still couldn't activate the egym circuit. The courses are fun, you just have to fight every week for a place in the Pilates evening course. Unfortunately, the app has been improved for the worse, it definitely needs to be improved because it keeps hanging up and you can't top up your credit. The wellness area is also very inviting and clean. You feel comfortable here (even if the saunas are often crowded in the evenings). The reason why I can only give 3 stars is the terrible communication. Trainer appointments are canceled just a few hours in advance, you have to wait weeks for a new one, you can't reach anyone by phone and you only get a response to emails after days. There is definitely room for improvement here. I'm used to something better from cheap chains.

David Lloyd Spa is a wonderful place, a small holiday environment, saunas, jacuzzis, a not cold swimming pool, a large fitness center, a restaurant and various massage options, and at the end of this a completely renewed body and a completely renewed mood. Of course we can Abi at Fitbar don't forget. A positive energy. An all-round professional team made up of wonderful people. Managing director Ms. Tereisa tries hard.

Since the change of operator, Meridian Spa has declined overall. The range of courses on offer has deteriorated, but "children's courses" are listed in the course schedule. The staff "looks the other way" when loud phone calls are made in the training area... The same applies to the wellness area - making phone calls, taking photos, laying out towels on the loungers and recently even reserving places in the infusion sauna 😮‍💨 There are now days when the outdoor sauna is only reserved for women or men. What this looks like is that 10 men/women sit in the outdoor sauna for the infusion, then 1/2 hour later 30 or more people “pile up” for the infusion in the indoor sauna. Great concept - if you don't want to go to the mixed sauna, please look for an alternative.

I can't even say whether it's nice there or not. At reception they didn't let us through because my husband didn't have any ID with him. Mind you, we had a voucher that we had already paid for and we had never had to show an ID card at a spa, sauna or similar. We certainly won't let the voucher expire, but what's even more certain is that I won't become a regular customer here. The day we had taken off to go to Spandau was gone. And I still ask myself... why the ID card? Isn't it the case that generally only public bodies and authorities are authorized to require ID from people? Only the state police, federal police, customs and public order offices are authorized to require citizens to show ID in public. So... why do I have to show an ID card in the sauna? I feel really ripped off.

Old world that is collapsing. Pensioners who see children as a problem and not as a future. Never again

I've been a member for a good six months and can give my summary after this time: In general, I like going there and completing my program. The tactic of not looking to the right or left during your workout has proven to be successful, as there are always unpleasant men who pile up in front of the fitness equipment with an urgent look in their eyes to demonstrate that time is up. I deliberately chose a gym that was more expensive, because this often separates the wheat from the chaff and the audience in the more socially disadvantaged department finds itself somewhere else. Far from it, unfortunately this category can also be found here and minimizes the desired joy and motivation in exercise. On the other hand, the bartender who greets you every time is very friendly, and the trainers also make an effort, although they are only available for consultation after making an appointment in advance, as they are quite busy. I don't feel like I can relax in the sauna/wellness area, it's too crowded, too loud, not a wellness experience in the true sense. I will probably let my membership expire and look for alternatives at the end of the year.

It's really very beautiful. For someone with a small budget I found it quite expensive. (Day ticket) If you just want to do wellness it could be disturbing because there may be aqua fitness with loud music.

Pros: lot's of greate courses, Sauna and Swimming pool right beside you, greate connection to the Sbahn Ubahn and busses, and inside Arcaaden you can shop before or after your workout, Cons: not a clean shower area, lots of people sometimes you have to wait to do something either in Sauna or fitness, and some courses have so many people signed up you cant even have them. So, considering the price I will give it a 3.5

Best fitness and wellness club. We were just in the sauna earlier. Robert makes great infusions. Since Chris has been in charge of the department, things have been steadily improving. Nice ambient, not too crowded on Saturday, we spent 6 hours there, and we had enough to do.

I went to the sauna, paid 40 euro for the day and it was really nothing special. It looked like it was once cool in the 90ties and since then they left it this way. If it had cost half the money, it would have been an ok experience but for this price, I expect more. I know the beautiful sauna and spa venues in the rest of germany. This does not compare...

The best gym for me in Berlin due its exceptional customer service! Polite, attentive and professional personnel. While some other gyms were charging their customers with the monthly fee even when all gyms were closed during the lockdown since November 2020. MeridianSpa provided free online classes, waived all the fees when the amenities were closed, organized lotteries to win different cool goodies! Highly recommend! Sincerely, Your happy customer since March 2019.

Vor 2 Wochen das erste Mal das Spa genutzt und komme definitiv wieder. In der Woche tagsüber sehr angenehme Besucheranzahl in diesem Bereich. Danke Uta für die spitzen Aufgüsse im der Außensauna

Sehr schönes Ambiente. Die Geräte sind auf dem neuesten Stand und alles ist sauber. Man kann entweder mal etwas Frust beim Training rauslassen oder einfach mal bei Kursen oder auch alleine im Wellness Bereich entspannen. Die Preise sind erschwinglich für den Service. Man kann sich entscheiden, entweder ein Tagesticket oder sogar eine Mitgliedschaft. Zum 2ten würde ich ehr raten wenn man eh oft da ist. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, leider am Tresen etwas unterbesetz. Was echt schade ist, da die Mitarbeiter echt alles geben. Aber auch nicht immer alles abfangen können . Bilder werde ich hier nicht reinstellen aus Respekt der anderen Mitglieder. Im großen und ganzen würde ich sagen eine 9,5 von 10.

Einfach ein toller Ort! Neben Sport und Erholung (sensationelle Dachterrasse), bietet der Club so viel mehr! Habe immer das Gefühl einen kleinen Urlaub zu machen! Danke an das ganze Team, das ihr meinen Aufenthalt immer so wunderbar gestaltet!

We just signed up for a year with the help of Mr. Hadi. He has been very helpful with our questions and concerns. He showed us around and explained very thoroughly about the mechanics and the programs they offer. Meridian Spa & Fitness is what everyone needs to de-stress and a place to unwind.

We were surprised to see the excellent facilities and programs provided by Meridian Spa. We had a feeling that we were on vacation and didn’t knew about this since many years (even though we are living close by). Very neat and clean and well organised. We had a great introduction tour by Mr. Hadi, where he had taken time and explained us about everything well in detail. Looking forward very much.

I accepted the 14-day trial offer because I had work in Berlin. The employee at the welcome reception was really very nice and everything went smoothly. The fitness area is well equipped with lots of equipment, so there was always something available. I really liked the wellness area; there were several saunas, three whirlpools and a swimming pool on the roof terrace. There were also countless loungers available so that you can always find a place. I really enjoyed my time there and hope to be able to come back soon.
