The restaurant, inside the boat is really nice and has a nautical theme. The staff is nice and professional. We had the Hafenburger and the Steak. The fries were awesome, my friend liked the Burger, my steak was ordered medium, but I got it well done. I was a bit disappointed about the steak but the herb butter and seasoning was really great. For dessert we had the waffles with hot cherry’s and vanilla sauce. This were amazing the smell alone is so delicious. If you visit there, I would recommend the waffles.

Super Brunch mit allem was man braucht. Schönes Ambiente und guter Service. Lage wunderbar, nur Parkplätze findet man kaum. Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist toll. Außenbereich liebevoll gestaltet und man kann so richtig relaxen. Aber unbedingt vorbestellen.

Nice quite place for drinks or deserts or even a full meal the fish & Cips platter is great each the swans go by and other funny boats nice green surroundings. Very cool meeting place, kind staff.

Was here for a private function on a Friday night. Excellent food, our designated waiter was friendly and service was quick. Great location for a meal or function any time of year.

Delicious fish & chips on a ship - but make sure to ask to be seated at a proper table! Great food: If you are at least two people then I recommend to have the fish and chip platter to share as you then get to taste all the dips and all the different fish variants. Ambience: The setting is very beautiful with big windows overlooking the water. Seating: The only negative thing I have to say is that we had made a reservation for dinner online and when we arrived we were seated at a very small, low table which wasn’t really made to have dinner at (more of a coffee table/side table) and we couldn’t fit our legs underneath it but rather had to sit with our legs ‘around’ it. To avoid this I would recommend to CALL and make a reservation instead of booking online since you can then specify that you would like to sit at a proper dining table. If I had known we would be placed at this type of table then I would not have made the reservation.

Very nice restaurant, went there around 16h for cake and coffee. The cake selection was a bit disappointing but the dessert card was great to compensate. Lovely place by the water and very polite service. The negative point is having to pay extra for vegetal milk, 20cts extra is not justified when comparing bottle price of normal milk and vegetal milk.

We love that they are open on a Sunday! We had a nice meal of fish and chips. Fish was alright, chips were delicious. Nice menu both food and drinks. Such a great setting even on a rainy day.

The view from the boat, every item on the menu, the staff - everything is amazing. I really wish they had more veg options in the menu though. Don't forget to reserve the table before reaching. Also, cards are accepted.

Auf den Schiff ist es super nett eingerichtet. Das Personal war nett und freundlich. Bewirtung war gut. Die Vorspeisen waren super lecker und sehr zu empfehlen. Ich habe den gebeitzten Lachs gegessen. Ich eine Geschmackssache...... ich bestelle ihn nicht mehr, weil er mir zu streng im Geschmack war. Hätte vielleicht lieber Kaiserschmarren essen 😉. Ansonsten war es ein gelungener Abend. Danke und weiterhin nette Gäste.

I recently dined at this restaurant located on a ship by the spree, and while the view was undeniably breathtaking, my overall experience left much to be desired. Pros: 1. Spectacular View: The restaurant’s location on a ship along the river provided a mesmerizing backdrop for our meal. It truly offered a unique and picturesque dining setting. Cons: 1. Mediocre Food: Unfortunately, the beauty of the view couldn’t compensate for the lackluster quality of the food. It seemed as though a significant portion of the €26 bill was dedicated to the scenic location rather than the culinary experience. 2. Limited Variety: The menu offered minimal variety, which was disappointing. It felt like we had very few options to choose from, and this limited selection was not made up for in taste. 3. Excessive Salinity: One of the most significant issues we encountered was the excessive use of salt in the dishes. The over-salted food not only made it unpleasant to eat but also left us feeling parched. 4. Low-Quality Ingredients: It was evident that the restaurant did not prioritize high-quality ingredients. The dishes lacked freshness and the flavors were subpar. In summary, while the restaurant may excel in providing a stunning riverside setting, the food experience was a letdown. The limited variety, overly salty dishes, and the use of subpar ingredients left a lot to be desired. I hope the management takes these concerns into account and makes improvements to enhance the overall dining experience.

Konnte problemlos für 13 Personen buchen. Kommunikation und Erreichbarkeit per Telefon oder per Mail sind bzw. wären etwas schwierig aber am Ende möglich und alles geklärt. Das Essen fantastisch. Sehr lecker, frisch und für jeden ist was dabei. Kaffee war sehr gut und O-Saft lecker frisch gepresst. Ambiente am Wasser ist toll. Alles Sauber und ordentlich. Personal war sehr freundlich. Super ist man kann mit Karte auch bezahlen.

Wir haben dort anlässlich eines Geburtstags schöne Stunden verbracht. Die Gerichte (5 verschiedene) waren sehr lecker. Auch der Nachtisch hat allen geschmeckt. Die Getränkeauswahl ist sehr gut. Der Service könnte ein wenig besser sein, aber ansonsten sind wir begeistert und werden wiederkommen.

Went here for a small company event with about 30 people. We were seated in the upper area and even if the weather was cool outside, inside was hot and stuffy and people needed to escape on deck when they were not eating. Drinks came quickly and the starters were amazing! Since we were a bigger group, we had a limited selection of mains which is fine. I chose the Dutch fish & chips and chose my sauces. When food was served, they forgot my dish, resulting in me watching my other 34 colleagues eating first. When it finally arrived, the sauces were not the ones I ordered, the fish was bland and everything was very oily. I might give this another chance, going with a smaller group and ordering a different main. And potentially sitting outside in Summer.

Highly recommended! I was surprised by the variety and quality of food, was delicious and very satisfying. Drinks are not included in brunch price, but that’s ok. The price - 21.50€ per person is very fair. The atmosphere with the fireplace is very cosy 😄

Die Fischgerichte waren schön angerichtet und schmackhaft. Auch das Ambiente in und um dem Lokal ist sehr einladend. Die Wartezeiten zur Mittagszeit sind ein wenig großzügig, aber absolut im Rahmen. Die Portionen dürften für meinen Geschmack noch ein wenig größer ausfallen und die Auswahl an nicht alkoholischen Getränken könnte man diverser gestalten. Unterm Strich kann ich das Lokal bestens Gewissens empfehlen.

It took more than 2 hours to get the main dish. We ordered Dorade (Sea bream) and both of us got half raw and frozen Dorade (Sea bream). NOK. Will not visit again

This is a great location. Also the waitress was very friendly and helpful. The vegan fish and chips were also great. However, my daughter's salad had a large lump of dirt in it! This was particularly disturbing as they knew she had a stomach issue. When I raised it the chef laughed and the boss was not bothered - indeed it seemed quite normal for them. The waitress was apologetic and we were refunded for the meal. Avoid if hygiene is important to you!

I cannot really comment about the food quality because I was there for a company get-together, so we were not served as regular customers , but more in a gathering way. The service was ok, staff was polite but not friendly. The place is ver nice! We eat on a boat and the view was very nice.

This was my first visit to Berlin and to Van Loon. The food was superb, we had a starter, main and sweet along with a very nice bottle of wine. Service was very quick and staff were friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Had dinner here two nights in a row; first night was great, service was fast, dedicated and professional. The food was great and you could tell the chefs were having fun and passionate about food. This was a busy evening for them. Second night was a nightmare; the food was bad (different chefs), service was unbothered and they didn’t care much for anything. Very disappointing. So pray that you come on the right evening! Cocktails were great both evenings though.

It was my birthday. Even though I booked a table a week before I got a bad table and they told me everything was booked but it wasn’t. There was no reservation and the service was so bad. They were just rude ppl. No respect at all. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Nice romantic experience on a boat in the middle of the city. The sunset sky is beautiful from the top deck of this restaurant boat. Food is good. And the staff very nice. Only bad thing is that smoking is allowed on the deck, ruining the experience and the food flavor.

For a causal self serve lunch on a walk along the canal this is perfect. A good bagel with smoked salmon. The fish and chips are excellent. Home made and fried perfectly. And they have Fiitz-limo beverages. It’s nice to find a casual self serve place. Very friendly staff.

What can be a better place to enjoy a lunch or dinner. The floating restaurant has an excellent location.
