I
came
here
to
fix
my
severe
farsightedness
(+5.75,
+2.75
astigmatism)
that
I've
always
had.
During
the
preliminary
examination,
I
was
recommended
lens
implants
(Artisan),
as
LASIK,
given
my
strength,
would
only
be
possible
with
a
special
procedure
and
would
be
very
stressful.
In
addition,
the
effect
of
the
implants
does
not
diminish
over
a
longer
period
of
time,
unlike
LASIK
(unless
the
strength
changes.
But
there
is
always
the
possibility).
Since
I
was
initially
a
little
afraid
of
the
operation
and
up
to
that
point
had
never
seriously
tried
other
options,
such
as
contact
lenses,
apart
from
glasses,
I
decided
to
continue
with
it
and
keep
the
option
of
an
operation
open
.
None
of
that
was
a
problem.
Soft
contact
lenses
were
ordered
and
I
had
them
inserted
there
and
a
special
institute
for
hard
contact
lenses
was
recommended
to
me.
After
trying
both
options
for
a
few
months
and
found
them
not
to
be
ideal,
I
decided
to
continue
with
the
operation.
On
the
day
of
the
operation
for
the
first
eye,
I
unfortunately
had
a
panic
attack.
This
fear
turned
out
to
be
unfounded,
since
the
actual
operation
was
really
not
bad.
The
practice
team
was
very
understanding
and
took
good
care
of
me.
Follow-up
checks
were
carried
out
over
the
following
weeks
/
months.
I
still
had
to
drip
the
eyes
for
a
while
and
get
used
to
the
new
vision,
but
everything
is
fine
now.
I
have
had
the
implants
for
9
months
now
and
the
vision
is
great
(120%
eyesight).
Except
for
slight
halos
around
lights
in
the
dark,
there
is
nothing
wrong
with
it
(I
was
informed
about
this
during
the
preliminary
examination).
I
am
very
happy
that
I
decided
to
have
the
operation
in
this
practice.

Ich
kam
hier
um
meine
starke
Weitsichtigkeit
zu
beheben
(+5.75,
+2.75
Hornhautverkrümmung),
die
ich
schon
immer
hatte.
Bei
der
Voruntersuchung
wurden
mir
Linsen-Implantate
(Artisan)
empfohlen,
da
LASIK
bei
meiner
Stärke
nur
mit
einem
speziellen
Verfahren
möglich,
und
sehr
belastend,
wäre.
Außerdem
lässt
bei
den
Implantaten
die
Wirkung
über
längere
Zeit
nicht
nach,
anders
als
bei
LASIK
(außer
die
Stärke
verändert
sich.
Aber
die
Möglichkeit
besteht
immer).
Da
ich
mich
vor
der
OP
zunächst
etwas
fürchtete,
und
bis
zu
dem
Zeitpunkt
auch,
außer
Brille,
noch
nie
ernsthaft
andere
Möglichkeiten,
wie
z.B.
Kontaktlinsen,
ausprobiert
hatte,
entschloss
ich
mich
erst
mal,
damit
fortzufahren
und
mir
die
Möglichkeit
einer
OP
offen
zu
halten.
Das
war
alles
kein
Problem.
Es
wurden
weiche
Kontaktlinsen
bestellt,
die
ich
mir
dort
auch
einsetzen
ließ
und
mir
wurde
auch
ein
Spezialinstitut
für
harte
Kontaktlinsen
empfohlen.
Nachdem
ich
beide
Möglichkeiten
für
einige
Monate
ausprobiert
hatte
und
für
nicht
ganz
ideal
befand,
entschloss
ich
mich
doch
mit
der
OP
fortzufahren.
Am
Tag
der
OP
für
das
erste
Auge
hatte
ich
leider
eine
Panikattacke.
Diese
Angst
stellte
sich
aber
als
unbegründet
heraus,
da
die
eigentliche
OP
wirklich
nicht
schlimm
war.
Das
Praxis-Team
war
sehr
verständnisvoll
und
hat
sich
gut
um
mich
gekümmert.
Über
die
nachfolgenden
Wochen/Monate
wurden
Nachkontrollen
durchgeführt.
Ich
musste
die
Augen
noch
für
eine
Zeit
mit
Tropfen
behandeln
und
mich
an
die
neue
Sicht
gewöhnen,
aber
jetzt
ist
alles
gut.
Ich
habe
die
Implantate
nun
schon
seit
9
Monaten
und
die
Sicht
ist
super
(120%
Sehkraft).
Bis
auf
leichte
Halos
um
Lichter
in
der
Dunkelheit
ist
nichts
auszusetzen
(darüber
wurde
ich
aber
auch
bei
der
Voruntersuchung
informiert).
Ich
bin
sehr
froh,
dass
ich
mich
für
die
OP
in
dieser
Praxis
entschieden
habe.
