The messe in Berlin is really big. I attended WeAreDevelopers 2023 and the setup was very nice. Over 10000 attendees.

Great venue, very well organised and plenty of seating for resting and eating. It is huge so be ready for a lot of walking, it’s also well signposted and easy to find what you are looking for. There are plenty of toilet facilities and loads to see, I visit every year for IFA and I love Berlin. The train Station (Messe Sud) leads straight into the venue grounds, remember that there are 2 entrances, North and South. Well worth a visit.

That is what I expect from unusual architecture, which drags the attention of one’s eye. PS. The 5-star review does not concern the work of congress though (no checkup of their activities has been conducted)😸

Huge space for trade fairs. Everything is beautiful. Organization and efficiency. I highly recommend giving yourself 2 days for big events as there is so much to see and it is always busy. For example, massages are also offered at affordable prices.

Thanks to RBB found out that it was open for 48 hours. And it looks really, really cool on the inside. I wish it was permanently open. It was like picking flowers to stroll through there. Full points!

I would normally give it a 5 star because the location is close to the metro and has a lot of facilities. But it’s very big and quite complicated to get from one part to another. There are signs and staff everywhere, but even most of them don’t know.

What an amazing venue!! Futuristic architecture from 1979. It‘s closed since 2014 but now open for ten days of the exhibition „The Sun Machine Is Coming Down“.

Exhibition hall is pretty nice and well organized. Easy to reach from downtown. However, it has small cafeteria and food tasted bad and expensive. For future exhibitors, it would be much better to bring your food with you or ask someone who can deliver you. After I bought a cup of tea, I asked if I can have hot water refill, because hall was pretty cold due to AC. But cafeteria wanted to charge me €3.20 just for the refill. Based on food taste and choices, 1 star goes to the cafeteria.

Sehr ungünstige Parkplatzsituation, im ICC dann doch was gefunden. Die Messe Berlin ist leider schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und ist nicht mehr auf aktuellem Stand. Leipzig und Hannover sind da Welten besser.

Visited the Green Week on January 24th, 2024. It was again very nice and interesting. Lots of visitors but no chaos. There was plenty of food and drink on offer. Otherwise, the visit is always recommended.

A wonderfully designed convention center, one of the biggest in the world that is.

Green Week is recommended, especially on the Friday of the public opening for visitors. Big disadvantage: Not to visit with small children or babies! There are rooms with changing tables, but ALL rooms were locked! The staff's recommendation was to simply change the child on the floor (???). Not very contemporary. It is also sometimes very inaccessible (no street crossing with traffic lights, only stairs or broken escalators! Not convenient if you have a stroller!).

Nice exhibition center. Huge area , good location. Easy to reach from every spot of the city. You have to walk a bit to the main entrance but less than 10-5min from metro station. Clean toilets and jummy snack and eat bars.

Modern conference center with all the facilities you would expect. Meeting rooms and small and large auditoriums. The city cube is a more intimate area.

We attended IFA event here. The place is monumental. Lots of space to arrange a huge conference. Easy to reach for a long distance visitors coming by bus services. Nearby, the food options are limited though.

Good places for international conventions. Restroom and sanitary could be better but was fine. However, for foreigner customers, it might be sometime difficult to find your way. Should put some stickers on the floor for helping locating stands.

Of course, a fair ground like this is important to bring a group of like-minded businesses together. However, during the ITB we were disappointed about the lack of useful and clear signs for parking and to find stands within the fair or the best ways to get from one hall to another. Food options were basic and mainly of low quality and only available in chilly and uncomfortable transition zones between halls. Very little seating options to take a break, and definitely nothing inviting. Walls, transition zones and many parts of the floor were not well kept and gave the appearance of unfinished construction. Prices for companies are too expensive for the quality of the fair ground.
