Really horrible nurses working here. They will roll their eyes at you, sigh and tut amongst themselves right in front of you because they don't want to deal with you or don't deem your situation important enough to warrant being there. My doctor had requested I go there and I had also spoken with the staff the night before who also said I should come in the morning. I wouldn't even mind the 5 hour wait if they would treat me like a human being. In the end I just left. I would rather go blind than deal with these people again.

The nurse at reception is nice, but you have to agree with the other reviewers, the clinic's time management is subterranean. Albert Einstein was right - time is relative. Nothing can wait less than 5 hours here, and there are only a handful of patients sitting in the hallway. Absolutely nothing happens. The only thing that moves forward is your aging process.

2 stars are still too much, I was only hospitalized for one day but it was hell. Except for the nurse who carried out the examinations, everything else could be forgotten. Data protection isn't exactly a top priority when you're recording, contracts are simply printed out without asking any questions and you have to sign, no information about what that is or anything else. You don't get anything for yourself either. No friendly word, nothing just grumpy faces. The same thing in the eye clinic ward, no smile, no kind word, no introductions. Except for the 1 late shift nurse. Thanks to her for the comforting words. Not to mention the doctor. The admission examination was OK, but the senior doctor's examination could have been squeezed in, no proper time, seems under time pressure. Another doctor just comes in, not a good day, nothing and you were written off by the senior doctor and you are none the wiser! That doesn't work at all Maybe think about it: you have sick people in front of you. It's a real shame but never go there again!!!

After going to the receptionist, she started screaming at me saying that it was late and I should wait for six hours. I mentioned I should visit the doctor because of my symptoms and she said there was lots of people here, and I should have gone to a pharmacy and use an eye drop... She just didn’t want to work and even said that my insurance card was fake when I mistakenly gave my wife’s card, mind you that right after I gave the right one. But she kept being rude. Do yourself a favor and never come here. Worst experience for someone looking for an emergency. People don’t want to go to the hospital, people need to. They should keep that in mind before treating someone that terribly.

My visit to the eye clinic was a challenge because I had to wait for three and a half hours from 1 p.m. on a Wednesday despite severe pain in my left eye. The attending doctor diagnosed a mild inflammation, which surprised me a bit as I had imagined a more serious cause due to the intensity of the pain. The doctor seemed professional, but not particularly committed to treating my case, which gave me pause, especially after I had already been turned away by two ophthalmologists due to lack of capacity and my family doctor was unable to make a diagnosis. After I came to this clinic on the advice of the hotline 116117, I was prescribed an ointment. Although I would have liked a more thorough examination, I am grateful for the treatment I received and hope that the ointment will help to improve my symptoms.

Very bad. One star just for the treatment. Waited 3 hours to get there. First we waited 2 hours and then a doctor came out of the operation. Until then everything was still understood. There were even children there. A little boy (about 2 years old) had to wait as long as me. Suddenly a man pushes forward. It doesn't work at all!!! Children have priority, for them it is torture. The doctor just said to the man, “You don't have to push yourself forward, it's about education!” I said to the man, “You don't have to push yourself forward, a little boy waits longer than you!” Ms. Vigni is just so unprofessional! I should stay out of it, was her answer! Hahahaha funny, be a little more considerate!!! Small children can't stand it like adults!!! If you have to stay out of it, then act accordingly towards those who push you!

Went there twice within a week and both times the doctors were unfriendly and treated our son like an object. The worst thing I found today was the statement "it's a holiday, why didn't they come yesterday, I have to concentrate on the important cases". So our son is unimportant...Please everyone go somewhere else with competent doctors!!!🙏

I went to the eye clinic for an examination on November 10th and 11th, 2023 and was positively surprised. The reception staff and the nurses were very friendly and helpful. The doctor who carried out various examinations on me was also very nice. All in all, I can only recommend this eye clinic. You are very well looked after here

Schlechteste Augenklinik die ich kennen gelernt habe. Wartezeiten und Behandlung von Arsch. Total Überforderte Klinik. Habe ich in anderen Augen Kliniken anders kennen gelernt.! Und das liegt nicht an den Patienten. Sondern an der Abwicklung. Müssen sich mal neu Disponieren. Man wartet dort bis zu 8 Std.

The stuff is average, I have been here for almost 8 hours now, not a lot of people, but I have yet to be visited. I think it's all because there is literally 2 people taking care of everything.

Very good in general, I'll explain my experience; Not all of them can speak in english, but all of them are helpful. All the doctors can speak in English and also most of them at the desks. Also if they know that you don't know german they will put a note in your documents to advise the others doctors, they are really kind. I've been there twice; First time was an appointment for the doctor, everything was smooth. If you don't speak german, you should need at least the numbers, because they call you to go inside an specific room with a number. The waiting time was around 3 hours even with an appointment, that's the only thing that maybe was not as good. The doctor was really helpful, fast and fluent in english. Second time was to do an operation a few weeks after the first one. This time the waiting time was better, they move you directly to the operating room area. Again, everybody really helpful and kind. Inside the operating rooms everyone speaks fluent english and they are awesome. So basically I recommend it a lot, but can't put 5 starts cause the waitng times.

We were in the eye clinic after a sports accident. Even after a long day at work, the doctor's assistant and doctor were very friendly. We were helped immediately and made our stay much more pleasant. We would go to this eye clinic again and again.

Today at 11 a.m. I had a check-up appointment with my 1.5 year old son because the senior doctor wanted to look at him again. After waiting for almost 2 hours and asking several times why even patients who had just filled out the medical history form and were obviously not an emergency arrived before us, we left the practice WITHOUT treatment!!! Complaint to which the medical association follows!!!

We dared to ask, with a referral from the pediatrician, whether we could have a standard eye examination for our daughter. Were completely stripped down as to why we would even think of calling there. I don't know what's wrong with the doctor's assistants there.

Outpatient consultations on the weekend with a waiting time of over 4 hours is a real disgrace!

Not even the doctor's office can do it as quickly as the emergency room. Super friendly at reception, everything explained... 5 minutes later, I've already seen the doctor. Very pleasant and competent, Dr A.König. Examined, prescribed medication, discussed everything in detail… simply TOP!!!!!!!

Because after 10/12 rejections from other ophthalmologists you had almost lost hope but you urgently needed an ophthalmologist, so you went to the emergency room Super friendly staff, great recommendations and advice from the doctors and you go home satisfied as a patient. Well, you have to wait, but in an emergency you'll accept it Thank you

Today I was in the Marzahn eye clinic as an acute patient. The background to my visit was a hemorrhage in the vitreous body and the fear that I had a retinal detachment due to my long illness as a type I diabetic. I have to say about the waiting time: Given that it was a holiday and the emergency room at the eye clinic was already quite full, it took about 2 hours. As an acute patient, I had to wait much longer to see my ophthalmologist. To register at the rescue center: Two young nurses were sitting in the registration area. They weren't unfriendly, but my nurse didn't come across as particularly friendly. To the ophthalmologist: After I entered the treatment room, I described my situation. Since I saw myself as an acute patient, I represented my point of view when the doctor said what I was looking for in the emergency room. Do some back and forth discussion, you saw that it might be. but it made sense to come to the rescue center. We talked for a short while and then I was able to understand why she was like that. She explained to me that many patients come to the rescue center who are not really acute. Many come to the rescue center with conjunctivitis, which could easily have been treated with eye drops from the pharmacy. The important cases, such as accidents related to the eye, or sudden loss of vision, detachment of the retina, everything that has to do with the macula, etc. are therefore neglected.

My husband can only see with one eye and that eye has cataracts. I was very worried because nothing can go wrong here. It's true, long waiting times. Still everything is in order. Wednesday preliminary examination. Thursday to the clinic and surgery. Released on Friday and he can see again. A big compliment and a sincere thank you.

For an emergency operation, I found the effort/internal examinations and short-term referral to the Ukb appropriate. My point of criticism is along the lines of - it seems that the coordination within the House has some weaknesses. Everything is pretty tight-lipped about possible causes of the symptoms. Now good is in the nature of things. It's also not necessarily easy to come to a valid statement/cause for the complaints. A little more words would be nice. It seems to me that the internal communication between the "employees" - doctors and nurses/nurses - doesn't really work. One should try to erode possible causes that are “responsible” for this in order to get to a better way of dealing with each other, with each other and with patients. Now one more thing: Find a new food delivery person or something. I don't have particularly high standards for hospital food, but a little more quality would be nice. Kind regards I've just read through other "experiences" and I really have to say that there are people who don't understand or haven't understood the purpose of an emergency room/examination and approach the matter with a high level of demands. Not nice. Therefore I change my stars from 3 to 4 and wish everyone a happy holiday (Easter)

This is the worst eye clinic in all of Berlin. I waited there for 4 hours for an incompetent doctor to come. She was completely lifeless and didn't want to do her work and brushed off patients with eye drops without properly checking whether there was something serious. I advise everyone to go there
