I was already here last summer. I was pleasantly surprised to find an exhibition on Pilecki's exceptional bravery at this historic site in Berlin. The exhibition is excellent, my big respect for those initiated and realized it. If you are interested in the man, please read his report on Auschwitz. He tirelessly tried to activate not only Polish inmates, but also prisoners of other countries, including socialists. Also, please take note of what he did as a young Polish soldier after Poland regained independence, in 1918-20, during the Warsaw Uprising 1944, and of course his resistance work against the Stalinist rulers after WWII. A multi-faceted character he was, a man, who dedicated his life in the fight for freedom, endured torture and ultimately paid the ultimate price. Truly, an outstanding Polish soldier and great hero!

Warning to all historians who come up with the idea of submitting their own valuable research results to the institute or publisher. The publisher applies for strange reviewers who supposedly know “the only true scientific research method”. If your approach does not correspond to this research method, you are probably not a historian and your valuable research work is worthless. It is therefore recommended that you go to any important discussions with the publisher with a trustworthy lawyer. To protect your reputation and rights as authors of the research paper.

What an eye-opening experience! Pilecki's incredbile story should find its way to school curricula across Germany and beyond.

The Pilecki Institute in Berlin is located right next to the Brandenburg Gate. It is a good location for an institution that commemorates the great and noble hero Cavalry Captain Pilecki.

This place of remembrance of the individual fate of a true hero who fought against injustice and terror, whether in Auschwitz in German-occupied Poland or in his communist-ruled homeland, and had to pay for it with his life, is definitely worth seeing. Very well done exhibition, although it doesn't always make orientation easy.

It's wonderful that there is such a place in Berlin! The science and history of our country and the Great Hero, also propagated abroad. In addition to meetings and shows, the Institute organizes historical activities for children. I heartily recommend it!
