It was a suggested to me as I am Portuguese and I needed to try it. Despite the scaffolding the outdoor sitting was fully occupied and the vibe was good. Inside it got even better as I saw the glass display with all the sweets and savoury options. We came for the bola de Berlim and we saw some mini ones, they also had bola de arroz, pastel de Nata(obviously), pão de Deus, tosta mista, bolo de Bolacha,… Hard to pick really. The fredoccino was good and the pastel de Nata Brasileira as well(because I have never heard of it, I had no expectations) but it would have been nice if there was the option of French croissant and not only the brioche one(the fiambre was very good). The pastel was flacky but I couldn’t taste any egg. It’s not like Portugal but I would return to try the other items and order a cold Ucal.

Great portuguese and greek coffee specialities. Glad to find delicious pasteis de nata as good as we find n Portugal. A bit pricey for portuguese standards but fine for Germany

I’m here almost everyday, they have excellent selection of Portuguese pastries and coffee. It’s a great place to spend morning sitting outside having Pastel de Nata and coffee. As a young father I really appreciate that you have changing table in a WC area, it saved my day many times 😄.

Terrible plac e. the employees don't work happily and I myself witnessed the way they are humiliated by the owner while I was in line waiting to place the order. I ordered a coffee in RECUP offered by them (that system where you pay a deposit for the cup and they must return the deposit to you when you return the cup). The next day I went back to return the glass and get my deposit back, to which I was told they don't give your money back! They force you to buy something again and then they give you a 'discount' for the returned cups. In my country this is called 'tie sale' and is prohibited by the consumer protection code. True nonsense, I won't be back and I don't recommend it.

One of my favorite bakery stores in Berlin, in Prenzlauer Berg. Big variety of sweets, delicious Portuguese pastel de nata and Greek handmade pies. Friendly service. You can either take your order away or sit and enjoy it there. Coffee and refreshments served as well. Big variety of bread as well. Highly recommended for a stop when you are in the area.

Even though this place fulfilled my pastel de nata craving, the coffee it was paired with was a huge disappointment. Bitter, cold, and watery. Oh and the picture shows you how much cappuccino comes when you order it. Less than half a cup. Shocking.

Bekarei is a local favourite. Their sandwiches and pastel de nata are always a delight. Every neighbourhood should have a Portuguese cafe

The products are good, but quite expensive. For the price, better/good customer orientation would really be appropriate. I've been trying to buy yeast croissants for 4 days - but they ran out by 2pm. I have to work before and can't get there before then. When I asked if I could pay the day before and pick them up later, I got the answer "unfortunately no", but I could order online (2!!) days in advance.... Obviously, there is no real interest in customers going to the shop. I'm out now ... so you lose as a frequently shopping customer and neighbor I'll just bake it myself now ... No fotos - because I couldn't by what I came by 4 times...

Authentic Portuguese/Greek bakery with beautiful tasty pastry, bread, and coffee (galao is wonderful). The Natas are one of the best I have ever tried! Everything tastes delicious and fresh. The service is wonderful and staff is very friendly. For Portuguese, it feels like home. For non-Portuguese, a perfect way of trying the flavors without flying. Definitely recommend! p.s. they also have home-delivery, more info available on their website.

Stellar spot. More more unique styles and offerings compared to most bakeries around. A number of traditional Portuguese and Greek baked goods and breads as well as classic sandwiches.

I really like the vibe and design here. Very tasty pastel de nata and other Portuguese pastries. They also have Portuguese coffee on the menu. It is a bit expensive but worths it.

The pastel de nata and coffee were good but the lady behind the counter (I suppose the owner) treated the guys working with her very badly. I will never go back there again because it is very important for me to have a peaceful environment where I can spend my time. I would also like to remind the lady that the time of slavery is over and that she should try to relax.

Nice natas let down a little by being not warm. Tried also the brazilian nata in which the case is more related to biscuits than puff pastry in the normal nata and it was nice too. Lemon and meringue tart was just perfect in my opinion. Cappucino was good and mild to my liking but in a relatively small cup.

I am so disappointed ☹️ was planning to get 20 burger buns to freeze as i dont want the packaged ones from the stores due to nasty ingredients and additives and i thought this small bakery does it daily but look at the ingredients below (available at their website) looks like a chemical experiment. Simple question: WHY?!? Wheat flour , water, sugar, vegetable oils and fats [(palm, rapeseed, sunflower), emulsifiers ( lecithins ; mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids), acidulant (citric acid), flavoring, color (carotene)], yeast, salt, wheat pre-dough ( wheat flour , water, yeast), wheat malt flour , dextrose, sugar beet fiber, malt extract ( barley malt , water), acerola juice concentrate,

The food is amazing, just a bit expensive. Bread, pastel de nata, cakes, bolos, absolutely everything is going to be the one of the best that you had in Berlin. Nit-pick: The card reader asks for a tip (ridiculous imho) and delays all the paying process, which is annoying because normally there is a long queue

I was looking forward to try the place for a while, but unfortunately was really disappointed. When I queued up to order they served other people first who entered the cafe after me. They forgot to make my coffee and I had to go back and remind them - no apology or rush to make it. When I finally got it after about 30 mins, it was lukewarm milk with hardly any coffee. Cake was ok but not worth it. Such a shame.

We had a lovely breakfast here. The place has plenty of choices. Vegan and non vegan are all available. Based on what we had the food is good quality and the staff is friendly. Can recommend.

😠 Outrageous pricing policy, service and management! When you order a steak menu you get a salad (normal price 4.80 €) if you choose a different starter instead, it says on the menu: "We charge 3.00 €). In my opinion, this meant an extra charge of 3 euros. So I ordered one Another starter. The bill w...
