Good food but definitely to expensive. I think that prices like 16-20 Euro in Berlin are just simply not fair. I enjoyed the most salad with those crunchy crisps on top.

I had a very good time here, atmosphere is unique and very nice, food is very good, the lamp with rice is something so special, I never tried rice with such taste and meat was super tender. The aubergine starter was super good too. Just chicken meat with potato with bread had too much cheese but it was tasty too. Highly recommend the place.

We had no prior knowledge of the restaurant and went to the area specifically for Malakeh based on a quick online search. We were not disappointed at all with the quality of the food and the hospitality of the restaurant’s staff. The food is authentic in flavor and is cooked to perfection. We loved that it was served fresh and warm with very nice presentation. The quantity of the food we ordered was perfect for two very hungry people, it was very satisfying. We also loved the decor of the restaurant, it's a very nice, clean and spacious place with symbols of Syrian culture which took me back to many childhood memories. In all, we were very happy with our experience and will definitely be recommending the restaurant to friends and family. Best of luck Malakeh!

The Restaurant offers one of the best and most authentic Syrian food — which is usually cooked at home. The service team and the cook chef are amicable. The restaurant's interior decoration is nice holding photographs of famous Syrian celebrities.

In a vibrant food halls with so much choice I saw another diner enjoying their meal so ordered the Malakeh Auflauf. Wonderfully generous portion size, with plenty of chicken, sauce, mushrooms and potatoes with a superb bread over the bowl which was not only super fresh but full of flavour.

10/10. This is a truly authentic Syrian cuisine restaurant. Great and quick service, you can easily order foods with the iPad. I highly recommend the starter platter that comes with various sauces. Generous portions and great atmosphere. Would love to be back

Hands down, the best Syrian restaurant in Berlin... This is what I rate as an authentic homemade Damascene food, not a restaurant grade but rather a homemade mother's food grade cooked with love and caring using high quality ingredients and served in sufficiently filling portions... Highly recommended!

I visited this restaurant, which is considered one of the best restaurants I have ever visited because of the delicious food there and the good and fast service. I wish all people to do this wonderful experience and not waste such delicious meals that are served from here only.

The experience was quite pleasant. The dishes were satiating and satisfying. The portions were on the advantageous side. Be aware that it reflects on the bill, but it is still as affordable as other berliner restaurants. It is a nice place to try new food and come back for come comfort food. The staff is friendly and very attentive. The ambiance is cozy and it feels like you’re having dinner at a friend’s place.

Super warm and nice people. Everything I ordered was absolutely amazing and was obviously prepared with care and with quality ingredients. The babaganoush was a very special standout - easily the best I've had in my life. They described it as the original Damascus style. Fluent English is spoken here too. I'll be back for sure.

My mix appetizer was very good, however my lentil and pasta soup was served to me in a glass storage container, which did not match the elegence of the other plates. My Meklubeh (beef and rice) dish was amazing though and distracted from the cold soup.

Gerne wieder 🤝

We only had Fatteh and to be fair it was batter than in many places but I expected so much more based on the reputation. For my tastes it was over spiced with cumin and the butter on top tater funny, and for my personal taste Fatteh tastes better without tomatoes. Additionally the staff was not so nice though again, I had higher expectations because it’s a middle eastern place :)

Me and my partner were looking for a restaurant to eat a bit late at night and stumbled upon this one, the waiter was super kind and told us that the kitchen had closed but could make us an exception, and we went in to a nice decor and warm atmosphere. We ordered the meatballs, the lamb and a salad and everything was delicious. We loved the taste of it with the spices and lemon and everything, and it tasted like fresh homemade food and not pre-made like some restaurants nowadays. The service was impeccable, food was delicious and the atmosphere was very cozy!

I made a reservation via phone it was uncomplicated and friendly communication. The starters were phenomenal very tasty. The food was tatsy some more some less. After the documentation i had seen about the owner i had hopes of a more personal experience when it comes to the service. We ordered with tablets which were easy to use but somehow missing out on personal interaction with customers. The fact that alcohol is being served in a restaurant owned by Muslims was dissapointing to me. Like many other restaurants you couldve also avoided that, aspecially in Berlin. Maybe this can be changed for the future. The prices were extremly high, food costed around 17-22 Euros. Veggy and vegan dishes were also available. 🌱

Very delicious food reminded me of the food my mom used to cook for me in Syria. One of the best restaurants for traditional Syrian food. The service is very good and the staff is very friendly.

    One of my friend recommended me here and i went to this restaurant today. They are very friendly. It was bit hard to choose menu (i hope they have fotos on menu) so i check fotos on google reviews but they thave some menus for Tuesday to Thursday so i can’t order what i found from review fotos. Ayran was self made and food was good but was bit too oily for us. Was good to try Ps: they don’t have spicy sauce but they gave us tabasco. (;

Best Syrian food in Berlin hands down! Fast polite service, amazing tasty food I’m grateful they exist. Music is a bit annoying if you’re not into it as the food was perfect

We chose Malakeh restaurant based on its high reviews on google and we are absolutely happy about our choice for my wife's birthday. The atmosphere is nice, the staff are amazing, polite, super nice and helpful, everything we ordered was fantastic and tasty and all in all we had a perfect experience. Totally recommend. They even gave the tea on the house because of my wife's birthday.

Best Syrian Restaurant in Berlin. Perhaps the best Middle Eastern restaurant as well. The only quibble I might have is the seating is old fashioned wooden chairs, which is 100% authentic but is too hard on one's back if you sit for more than an hour which is a must if you are to sample the extensive menu as we did.

Delicious food, quick service, and nice calm atmosphere. Good portion size but slightly pricey Although it seems eating out in Berlin isn't generally very cheap.

AMAZING PLACE!! A must try in Berlin with excellent food. Love the ambience. Love the food. Love the service. Food - 5/5. Apparently they serve different mains on different days, so always a reason to go back!! Starters: Kibbeh - 4/5. Amazing taste but a bit dry. Chicken breast stuffed with corn and cheese - 6/5. This was an impulse buy but soo soo good. Mains: Oriental Chicken with rice - flavourful without being spicy. 5/5 Spiced rice with lamb - 6/5. Loved this dish. Will go back just for this!! Drinks: NO ALCOHOLIC DRINKS AVAILABLE. Syrian Coffee - Black coffee spiced with fragrant cardamom with no sugar or milk. Perfect ending to a meal. But maybe not for you if you don't like black coffe Ambience - 5/5. Authentic Middle Eastern vibes. Service - 5/5. Friendly service. They were quite busy ( busiest place on the street) and I thought they were late in getting the menu. But they provide you with a tablet that shows the days specific meals and we can order from the table. They let us know that coffee would be delayed which I appreciated. Overall, I'll be sure to go again!

I like the concept of the restaurant (syrian traditional home food). Most of the dishes we tried were delicious and reflect the traditional syrian food. However, the appetizers are on the same quality level of the main dishes. plus, the prices are exagerated.

This was a very nice experience. The food was amazing. I came here because this place was recommended as a place that is quite authentic. A well-deserved experience. Highly recommend.

This restaurant is really something special! The food is incredibly delicious and has this unique flavor that you just have to try. I've had the pleasure of eating here twice and each time I've been blown away by the fantastic flavors. The portions are very generous and you can easily share them, which makes the price even more worth it. Speaking of prices: They are pretty reasonable, especially considering the portion sizes and the wonderful flavors. It's not often that you find such a good balance between quality and affordability. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a nice place to enjoy a meal. However, keep in mind that it is a popular place, so reservations are advisable, especially since it is crowded with both tourists and locals. Despite the hustle and bustle, the staff is friendly and attentive, and they are always ready to give recommendations and explanations when you need them. Moreover, the fact that they speak both German and English is a nice touch. The decor adds to the overall charm of the place, giving it a traditional and cozy feel. Honestly, I am always drawn to this restaurant and every visit is a pleasure. If you are looking for a really pleasant dining experience with fantastic food and a warm atmosphere, this is the place for you!

The good : the food was pretty good. The bad : The service was soooooooo slow. I have never had to wait for someone to come to our table for nearly 20 minutes in a half empty restaurant before. There were two waiters, one of them was just standing around. You can only pay by cash !!!! And lastly, the prices were a bit high for Berlin standards. An average main would be at least 17 Euros. Plan to pay at least 25/30 pero person if you visit. I would happily come back if they look into these issues because the food was solid.
