The
mango
was
so
delicious.
Seriously,
the
mango
was
so
good
that
I
was
able
to
overlook
the
extremely
Berlin
attitude
of
the
person
who
took
my
order.
When
I
asked
if
they
accepted
credit
cards,
I
was
told
condescendingly
that
they
only
accepted
credit
cards.
This
lady
also
threw
the
cover
of
the
tub
of
ice
cream
quite
loudly
when
she
went
to
make
my
scoop.
I
was
quite
shocked.
After
all,
an
ice
cream
shop
is
quite
the
happy
place,
and
ice
cream
is
such
a
happy
food.
I
suppose
this
lady
thought
she
might
be
working
at
Berghain?
The
other
lady
working
at
the
counter,
of
East
Asian
heritage,
seemed
to
be
smiling
and
happy
to
work
there.
In
this
instant
I
am
reminded
of
the
politics
of
immigration.
Any
such
unpleasantness
disappeared
when
sank
my
teeth
into
the
mango
ice
cream.
It
tasted
so
richly
of
mango
and
of
summer.
After
all,
ice
cream,
especially
good
ice
cream,
is
such
a
happy
food.
