Among the most important places in Berlin to to visit by those who enjoy science and technology. Entry is free. The future is explained by innovative way using concise and simple text. You can spend hours and hours moving from one field of Science to another without feeling the time passing, from genetics to solar and wind energy. Illustrations and augmented reality converge to give you clear picture of topics challenging contemporary civilization, with an optimistic vision addressing how technology can bring shared prosperity for all humans. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Very entertaining and informative. Really really nice.

Interesting exhibition. It’s free of charge to visit this place. Takes around 1h to thoroughly go through everything. There is an observation deck on the rooftop with a view on Berlin. Kid friendly place.

Trotzdem hatte man an einigen Stationen schon lange Wartezeiten.

Fantastic, child friendly and interactive exhibits that give a glimpse into our potential future. Free entry, great cafe. Could easily spend a couple of hours here without getting bored!

It’s an amazing place to see how the world will be in future. The Advanced technology and how to conserve the earths material to reduce waste and help the mankind to improve its livelihoods is well portrayed in this building. Very well organized, no ticket to get in and we spent few hours easily. Has enough space to relax and gift shop was very good. Excellent cafe aswell.

If you have kids , take them to Futurium. Plan a few hours because there is a lot to learn and play here. The underground floor is the playground with many interactive stuff. Make sure you take a wristband right at the beginning on the second floor. There is no entry fee and it is only closed on Tuesday.

Pretty cool experience to spend some time in Berlin. Very close to the train station so great for a final destination. The museum is absolutely free. You can use their lockers and their toilets free too. Cool immersive experience into the future. Couple things for improvement would be more detailed points in where to start as when we entered we tried going into certain rooms on the ground floor but they were locked. This however could have been due to the time of the day/time of the year. Overall we thought it was very informative and a cool way to end our Berlin trip. Would recommend it for a visit. Nice shop at the end with some cool items.

A surreal experience and absolutely free of cost. The future museum gives you a sneak peek of what humanity would look like with ofcourse taking you through all the technological and environmental developments. I am not a hardcore museum fan, but this one was great and leaves you with a good feeling! The noosphere installation was my favourite and would recommend anyone in Berlin to go visit

This is one of the best science museums I've ever visited. All the exhibitions are beautifully designed and explained really well. You can see that a ton of care went into every single bit of this place. The lab as well is really cool. So many cool technologies made accessible and fun. I can't recommend this place enough!

This place is wonderful! Lots of hands on exhibits on technology of the future, interesting for children and adults alike. They also have a gallery, and a skywalk on the roof. There's so much to see and explore, and it's presented really well!

Awesome place, so many things to read and learn. 2 hours mentioned on the ticket will only let you quickly run through all floors. So my suggestion is to have 2-3 visits to explore everything in details. And don't forget the rooftop - the view is stunning! As for the parking, we left the car 2 streets away and had a walk along the Spree.

Free museum 2 hours to do the whole museum Very insightful information on technology/nature/health and future. The museum is interactive which makes it more fun to learn with some very pretty installations I highly recommend for families but also for adults to briefly learn about what is the currently done in the future

Great place, must visit when visiting Berlin. Interactive museum with tons of stuff to see and to do, if you love science, you'll love the museum. Toilets, lockers, friendly staff, souvenir shop, cafe/restaurant, wheelchair accessibility, great place to bring your kids, to learn something new.

It sounds very I retesting and it’s great to have a place which explores, presents and educates. However, it felt confusing. To me it lacked navigation and felt more like a mall than a museum, as it was hectic and you get lost in the way the exhibition is structured. And it’s loud and crowded. So I would recommend going in the morning or also going there with a guided tour of audioguide if they have some

Small, but they have crammed a bunch of things in there. Perhaps I was too distracted by other concerns, but I found that there was nothing really substantial enough to hold my attention for a long time. Some really interesting art, but it's shoved off in a corner and only a few pieces. Wish that I lived in Berlin, though, because this is a great place for kids. Thought-provoking for them and the interactive things seem to have been designed with them in mind rather than adults.

Such an interesting science and technology museum. There’s several themes, for example, renewable resources, waste management, smart cities, etc The entry is free but you have to pay if you want to do any workshops.

One of the best places visited recently. The scientific exhibition covers latest research and innovations which will shape our life in near future. It covers range of subjects from sustainable food produced using insects to building material using fungus , bamboo to robotics and what not! It's a life changing experience. And all this with touch of art. The exhibit of mimicking living organism using lights and advanced controllers is mind blowing. The exhibits are easy to understand well explained and written in simple language. Overall experience was superb.

Firstly, I'm not a tech person. So I find it really good, a must visit place for parents with young kids. There are two sections in this Museum, one is only for watching and learning just like other museums and the other section is for experiments. Well, the experiment section is too small, and few things to do, but if you have young kids, they will enjoy it. If you have knowledge and curious about technology and architecture it will be a great place for you, but please don’t have too much ambitious, one museums can not pleased you fully! Please check websites 3/4 weeks before visiting the Museum, sometimes they offer free enter but you must register in online, otherwise you have to wait. And the line it big. The people who have bad experience with the staff, I'm sorry for them, but I must say the staff were really very good and generous to us. I can share one thing. My baby was crying and i took food with me and wanted to feed him in front of people, one staff member came to me and told me please check signs, this is not a place to eat, rather go to down stair and eat there, she was pretty good. I and my husband felt sorry that we hadn’t noticed the sign, we claimed that we are educated and we made such stupid mistakes. It’s our fault, so i will never say that the staff were bad. It’s her duty. I have lived in Germany for 6 years and no one behaves me badly for my colour, nationality etc.

I expected something different, however it was average experience.. some robots, few closed part of exhibition, some interactive part and place to sit as well, for me a bit boring but museum is for free, lockers are available so you cannot carry all bags, coats with you..

Nice and free exhibition and important topics, but it require hours to go and read everything, it is a little bit too busy. With the bracelet, you can save the topics that you are interested, which is a great idea. but we did not tested after all.

This place revolves around innovative concepts for the future. Exhibits are captivating. I totally recommend, especially for kids and adults that still believe that word can become a better place! Tips:Free entrance, lockers.

It’s a place where we can see the Future of science and technology applications. Everything is explained thoroughly at all the stations. There are beautiful models, shapes and objects illustrating the upcoming technology. We can spend our times at these stations and also save the station in our band and come read it back at home. There is no fee for entry.(just check for time slots on website) Regarding the topics, I would suggest you to come and see in person 😉🙌🏻 it’ll be worth your time to visit.

Great exhibit, especially considering it is free. So much to do, very interactive. So much fun for kids and adults!

Visited on first Sunday of Oct, entry was free. There are many good displays in the museum but you’d know most of them if you work in technology sector. The presentation is very modern and interactive. The font size could be improved as it was strenuous to read. Total time required 2-3 hours. I missed the skywalk as it closed at 5:30 pm.

Fantastic interactive museum which should charge entrance but is FREE! If you are interested in technology, sustainability and the future of the Earth, this is a must. Short snippets of highly relevant information, open your eyes (and mind)!

The closest station is Berlin Central Station. Futurium is a science museum that gives you a glimpse of what the future of humanity and its cities could be like. entrance is free. there are lockers available. There is an elevator available for strollers or wheelchairs, even to go up to sky view. In general, I think it is a good option for children. All the information is in German and English.

  • 4/5 Angelo S. 2 years ago on Google
The museum is interactive and is interesting for all ages. Of course you need a fluent English or German. To visit it fully you need more or less 2 and a half hour. In all very nice museum. The Futurium Lab has interesting thinks to do for the children.

It’s really an interesting place to visit and it’s for free. You need to carry your im Impfung pass and ID. There is a band which you can use to collect details and read that at your home using their website.

For people interested in Science and technology, this is, if not the most, interesting museum in Berlin. How scientists try to develop our future and lifestyles. You can see many of the advances the scientists and engineers are doing materials, transportation, comunication, medicine, climate, etc. Definitely recommend it if you are visiting Berlin.

I really recommend this place, it was such a good experience, you get to know new projects on vital issues for the future, my suggestion is to go early so you are allowed to see everything, i spend three hours there and it wasn’t enough for me!. And last but not least it’s free.

  • 5/5 Rune C. 1 year ago on Google
First off, it is free entry so everyone can come and see this Museum. Apart from that it’s one of the most interesting Museums about our World, Technological change, and the Economical and Philosophical questions which we will face in the future. I would highly recommend it for everyone, because it has many different fields and things to do, which are all very fun and interesting and at the same time let you reflect on yourself and your position and your behavior.

What’s not to like about this museum? They have free entrance, the staffs are really helpful, you’ll find a lot of cool technology of the future and learn something from the past. There are interactive games that you can try inside. You’ll get a hand-ban, with it you can save the subject that you’re interested in and on the 2nd floor, you can replace the ban with a card that you can take home. I have a really great time visiting the museum.
