This gym is PACKED. No matter what time of the day, every single machine is taken. I’ve tried to come really early, really late, various times in the day… it doesn’t matter. You can’t not get a nice workout done without having to wait for Every machine. Plus it’s EXTREMELY HOT during summer and you cannot do exercises inside. Please consider getting an air conditioner URGENTLY. My answer to their comment: Funny because all windows are closed and there is absolutely no air circulating, coming in or out. Also funny, because every where in the world gyms have either their windows open or air conditioner. I've never had any 'muscular tension' or problems with it and it seems that people also are fine since most gyms have an air conditioner system. Bottomline is, fit x needs to do something about it, it's just not humanly possible to workout in their gyms... but they never care anyway... it's too packed and they keep signing contacts

So I can't wait to get out of this gym. It's catastrophically full there, far too small and you have the feeling that it's the new refugee camp where they really come to train in jeans and street shoes and the whole studio stinks and the cooling system is broken and you can't open the windows either. The devices are always occupied and you have to wait in line for some devices. The staff doesn't even want to work there, so the whole thing is a disaster. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone

Update 2023: The gym was great from 2021 to 2022, well looked after, kept clean and everything was working. Now it's absolutely packed most times of the day (to the point where if I can't workout early in the morning I'll go to another gym as in the afternoon it's impossible to do a full workout there otherwise). The floor has been warping for like 6 months now, and the problem keeps on getting worse to the point that now all weights have been brought so much forward that there's almost no room to use the cable machines. Will it ever be fixed, or do we keep on moving the barrier further to the middle of the floor? It's a real shame to see what was a great, well-kept club, being run into the ground. Old review from 2022: Very decent gym, all new machines, full set of Hammer Strength leverage machines and many units of the most popular things (bench presses, squat racks etc). And it’s also great value, and never too busy (at least for the time being while you have to book a slot).

The old devices are currently still on site. But from March 4th, 2024 to April 26th, 2024 the studio will be renovated

I've been going to the gym for 8 months, but for the summer I froze the contract for a month. A visit is not possible in summer. The air conditioning does not work. Windows open, air conditioning off. I understand that this is energy saving. But I felt bad in the women's gym, there are no windows, no ventilation. There is no air. It was scary and dangerous for my health. They said to contact management. Where is it? Why answers with phrases from the course B2 beruf bot.... I like everything else, clean, there is also water. But there is often a smell of rot in the water apparatus, perhaps the apparatus needs to be changed? because the smell of water is not fruity at all. This is dangerous to health. Waiting for your reply.

Unbearably Hot. I was deeply disappointed to find out that this gym lacks air conditioning, especially given the current temperatures in Berlin. While management claims that it's unhealthy to work out with the A/C on, this simply isn't the case. In fact, heat stroke and other heat-related ailments are far more dangerous and common than any purported risks of training in an air-conditioned environment. Gyms across the globe, including in Berlin, maintain a comfortable temperature for their patrons because they understand the importance of creating a safe and conducive atmosphere for exercise. This gym's stance not only detracts from the overall workout experience but also potentially places its members at risk. I had to cut my workout short because it was so unbearable. There are a few (mostly useless) fans, but they don’t give a good coverage. It’s much easier to find studies and data about how many people are damaged by heat strokes than to find similar data about air conditioners. Simply say the truth: we don’t want to invest any money, and it has nothing to do with health.

Unfortunately I have to change my rating, I was happy here for a long time, but now it has completely deteriorated. Cleaning up is hard, I know, but things are usually left lying around here as a matter of course. People sometimes train in jeans and street shoes and do it repeatedly. Cleaning is also not an option... A pity...

Hi. The floor in the free weights room has been damaged for ages, at least 6 months now. Is it really so hard to get this fixed? This area of the gym is now closed off, making it even more overcrowded and unusable.

The worst branch of FitX! Always over crowded and smells bad no matter what time you go! It's very difficult to use any of the equipments in the free weight space since it's always equipped! Finally it's quite small compared to other FitX branches. They should find a solution for this matter.

The gym is very crowded most of the time and there are not enough weight plates!! Also I just got a message that the gym will be renovated soon, so please at least add a second leg press machine, one leg press machine is completely not enough!!! Amd that's goes for almost all of the FitX gyms.

As previous members have mentioned, Fit X is a scam. The facilities are fine enough other than their practice of playing the same three songs on repeat. Beyond this THEY ADD OUTRAGEOUS FEES that quickly accumulate to hundreds of euros. 20 euro a month sounds cheap until they quadruple the price without informing you. They were forced to delete all their social media accounts because of all the bad press.

Dirty, the ventilation doesn't work, therefore bad air and disinterested/unfriendly staff.

It is getting worse and worse everyday. Each gym has its peak times after 5 pm but lately the number of people in the lifting area is over the limit. The air conditioning is not capable to handle 60-70 people. I couldn’t stand more than 5 minutes. They dont care if there is enough space & air for everyone. Other than it is a okay gym. Machines are diverse but not enough in count

Do not recommend. DO NOT SIGN UP IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. They will cheat you for your money in anyway possible. Contacted the personell to freeze my account as I was traveling. She said it was not possible. Found out later on the App that was never suggested to me that it was possible and ALSO from the contract. She blatantly lied to me. Then, I contacted the firm via e-mail. They continued to take the stance of the conversation was over there's nothing more we could have done. NO COMPENSATION WHATSOEVER. Even though it is very clear they're at fault since I asked and was DENIED MY CUSTOMER RIGHTS.

Great studio, nice staff and enough space to train. The employees are also friendly and will help with any question. The studio is currently being renovated.

The Gym is often overcrowded. There are only 3 showers and 1 sink for men. In the summer it is very hot, because no AC (supposedly because of muscle tension, so cheap lol) and the windows remain closed. The gym consists mainly of useless machines that are not used. the free weight and calisthenics areas are way too small. the scaffold in the calisthenics area is designed for people taller than 6 feet. there are only 3 powerlifting racks, so you have to wait. in the free weight area they never seem to vacuum or clean. the mirrors in the free weight area have not been cleaned and are full of spit stains, disgusting. instead of hiring cleaning staff, the trainers have to clean during the day. contract is automatically renewed for 1 year if you forget to cancel. You get exactly what you pay for.

I used to train in this studio. It’s only 2 station away from my old place in Berlin. I like this studio, not as big as the on in Alexanderplatz but it’s less busier and less people. I usually come after work at around 4 pm and there’s no so many people. + toilets are really clean + lady gym is in a good condition + lockers are great + they offer great courses + they are well equipped - I couldn’t not mention a single one. Idk.

Unfortunately they did not let me in because I am not considered as 2G+ I am recovered from corona, and boosted. I clarified with my doctor whether I am considered as 2G+, and the doctor confirmed, that indeed I am. Moreover, other places (restaurants, coffe, etc) would allow me to enter, but this place seems not. Very disappointed. Dear Fit-X, Please inform your workers that 2G+ is not only vaccinated & boosted, but also recovered & boosted.

Love my second home. The gym is clean and spacious, the staff is friendly and of course FitX offers fresh flavored water.

Been going there for two years. With the Alexanderplatz branch being an absolute disaster, more and more people are going to this branch and it is becoming extra crowded. I have had to change my workout times to avoid the crowds. But in general I have never had any problems there. The staff is definitely doing a much better job than the alexanderplatz zoo

One of the best fitness studios next to Crunchfit in Hohenschönhausen. When I asked to possibly get 1.25kg slices, this was rejected without any plausible reason. I hope the suggestion is perceived differently here online. I and certainly other members would be happy about it.

The gym is supposed to close from the 3rd of March at 21:00. I arrived at 19:30 for a last session but it was closed. Closing 2 fitness centers at the same time is such a great idea. Now everyone will be going to the branch near the zoo which I guess will be as pleasant as U8 during rush hour in summer heat

Complete equipment and infrastructure. And surprisingly for the bad quality of service you get used in Berlin, a warm and welcoming staff. A nice place to work out.

Studio is brand new, clean and staff is very attentive. Only downside is the lack of plates in the free weights area or the lack of people that return them to their original place. At the end of the day you can find several empty racks where plates should have been. It's not fun if you're workout takes 15min longer because you have to go "plate-hunting".

After they removed the Termine system, be ready to wait in line for 30+ minutes to get into a gym packed to the absolute brim with everything occupied. A horror show.

Nice, big and open space. Like all the other FitX Gyms they feature a big changing room, Water refill, and a machine for every single muscle. It's not too full, and you can get through without having to wait before your machine is free.

Clean and has many Machines. For the price, it is worth it.

I am convinced that BerlinCHB was in a different studio. This one on Landsberger Allee is full of employees who love the sport and the guests. It is a large shared apartment where life stories are shared together. Since I've been in this studio, I've never seen anyone deny opening the windows. And I don't find the discrimination at a studio where the slogan is "FOR ALL OF US" inappropriate, but rather mysterious as to what's behind it. Great studio and looking forward to reopening.

this newly opened fitx seems better at this moment, but there are still not enough room in the free hand area, neither are there enough weights of less than 10kg, there are plenty huge weights that nobody uses. but it's right on the tram station so it's easy to reach.

All the facilities in this gym-chain is very good.

It is equipped with many different gym machines, the staff is nice and friendly.

I will just give 5/5* from me and won't say many words, because at Fit X is also simple 😁 . You go train, motivate, have fun and all in all get healthier!! Simple and perfect at the same time.. 😎 The equipment is more than enough and functional as well, the working out places are very clean and so are the changing rooms. As regards the Fit X staff is very friendly and they can make your day only with a greeting. Well, adding the low membership monthly fee to all this... Oh YES it's a perfect bargain 🤗

Excellent facilities with incredibly helpful staff. Equipment is well spaced and, with the updates to the FitX app, finding a time when the place is not too overly crowded is easy. Missing only one particular machine for the calves (that is found at Alexanderplatz's branch) but everything else is here.

Just what I expected form a good gym. Clean, organized a good price and a nice atmosphere.

Fit X is overcrowded and they scam you in the fine print of their contract. They make their real money adding massive fees to your account and allowing them to accrue interest, all without contacting their customers. Pretty soon a one year contract costs 500 euro. Avoid them at all costs!

Just FitX. Inexpensive mass operation, but you know that too. Everyone has the freedom to go to a fancy studio. In general, for me personally - the best price/performance ratio for what I need. I know a few studios, here in Berlin and also some in other cities. The one-card-all-studios principle is ingenious, a big plus point for FitX. I always come at peak times, so it can be very crowded. The cleanliness is at a medium level, recently the employees seem to have to do this, and there is obviously no need for a cleaning service. There is often chaos with dumbbells and weight plates, but that is probably due to the guests, who, pumped up with egos (not just brawn), just don't seem to behave. Cell phone use is also annoying - "active people" fiddling with cell phones who spend hours on the device and don't train. I agree with other writers - the floor in the free weight area hasn't been done for a long time - that was bad. Instead, things were always rearranged and a tape was tightened.

I was training with you recently and I have to say it was catastrophically dirty. The older woman (the night watch) was sitting in her office and sleeping. When I seemed to have woken her from her sleep, she shouted at me about who I was imagining. I politely asked her to refill the paper. I was then told it was not their job and that I had to wait until one of the service team came. That was the last time I trained with you at night.

Studio completely fine, equipment works, staff relaxed. It's being renovated and will definitely look great soon. I don't understand how "Berlin CHB" only gives one star here and discriminates against other people, well, AfDlerFascho.

The classe teacher Rowina is Just the best!!! Really!!!! She's the besta teacher EVER! She has so much energy and she's SO SWEET!!!

Do your best when renovating! Maybe a butterfly device and more for leg devices.
