Beware of this gym. They specialise in ripping off foreigners by selling you a 2 year contract that seems normal enough when they explain it to you in English, however in the fine print in German the contract comes with automatic renewals without notification and leaving the country at the end of your original 2 year contract does not qualify as a valid excuse to end the contract due to the narrow window of the termination clause that was never explained. Gyms that profit off of the exploitation of their clients are the worst. Look at the number of 1 star reviews this place has recieved in the last 2 years. This is no way to build trust or a returning client base.

I contacted FIT via e-mail to learn about membership costs. I was told 53 euro per month. I agreed to this price and went in to sign the papers today. When I got there, I was pressed by the salesman to take some ad-ons. Despite telling him more than once that I am an independent exerciser, he kept on with the sales pressure. Finally, once he realized that I wasn't going to take any ad-ons, he told me that I would have to pay a 70 euro sign up fee. The e-mail I had received listed the price at 53 euro per month. There was no mention of this "sign up" fee. I showed the e-mail to the salesman. He did not care. As a matter of principle, I refused to pay. This type of business practice is ILLEGAL in most civilized countries, and I would expect in Germany, too. It is DECEPTION. The slang for this term is "bait and switch". Imagine Saturn advertising a computer for 800 euro, but when you show up to buy it, they tell you it actually costs 1.000 euro.

I refuse the bank withdrawal. And they want a 10€ fine for the 8€ withdrawal ("sorry that we where out of reach; you have to stay in the contract; and we bill you 18€ instead of 8€"). Guys, you disappointed me. That's not how it works.

Here you have excellent trainers who help you with new exercises according to your issues. The crew is always in a good mood, whatever happens. I love the people there, mixed from all professions, cultures and age. You can look sexy and you can look lousy, you can look how you like to be. Even in this Corona crisis they do everything according the regulations and still have a smile on their face. I been to fitness clubs in Paris and Mumbai, but this one I really love. And by the way the courses go from Jiu Jitsu to Rehab classes. Only Zumba is closed because of Corona.

This is probably the worst gym in Berlin at the moment to sign-up for. The equipments are so old and dis-functional that its hard to do a proper workout. Despite that they charge high fees. I suggest if you try this with Urban Sports, you are better off, never get a subscription.
