The
gym
has
become
very
overcrowded
since
New
Years,
which
makes
the
experience
of
going
there
quite
stressful.
Previously
I
would
have
given
the
gym
4
stars
(with
only
one
star
docked
due
to
not
as
much
equipment),
but
due
to
the
recent
overcrowding
my
rating
has
gone
down.
I
am
a
bit
worried,
as
it
is
already
hard
to
get
lockers
and
they
continue
to
do
campaigns
to
get
new
members
even
though
the
gym
is
already
overcrowded.
I
am
hoping
that
they
will
open
a
second
Women’s
gym
in
Berlin,
as
there
is
a
clear
need
for
it.
The
issues
I
have
noticed
are:
-Overcrowding
leading
to
having
to
wait
a
lot
to
use
equipment.
The
hip
thrust
machine
is
always
busy,
there
is
a
clear
need
for
more
of
these
as
its
a
popular
equipment.
One
is
not
enough.
-There
are
few
machines
in
general
(outside
of
cardio
machines,
there
are
plenty
treadmills),
and
also
few
benches.
-Equipment
is
often
out
of
order
over
longer
periods
of
time
-There
is
an
issue
with
flickering
lights
-There
is
a
male
trainer
frequently
in
the
gym.
He
has
been
very
kind
and
respectful
in
my
experience
and
it
does
not
bother
me
personally,
but
I
know
this
is
a
deal
breaker
for
some.
-There
are
few
lockers,
some
lockers
are
very
small
and
do
not
fit
a
medium
sized
gym
bag
comfortably.
There
is
a
queue
to
get
a
locker
if
there
are
ongoing
classes.
The
locker
area
is
also
quite
narrow
and
crowded.
As
for
the
positives
-Beautiful
facility
with
aesthetically
pleasing
interior.
There
is
a
sauna
as
well
as
whirlpools.
Great
lounge
area
and
also
has
a
bar/cafe
in
the
entrance
where
you
can
get
smoothies
etc.
-An
area
for
getting
ready
after
the
shower,
with
high
quality
hair
dryers
and
attachments
for
the
dryers.
-Free
water
refill
station,
with
option
for
flavor
as
well
as
carbonation
-The
staff
has
been
nice
and
welcoming
-There
is
a
child
care
area,
I
can’t
speak
on
it
as
I
do
not
have
children
-The
shower
area
is
very
nice
compared
to
other
gyms
I
am
hoping
to
see
a
second
gym
open
for
women,
as
the
size
and
facilities
in
this
gym
is
simply
not
equipped
to
cater
to
the
amount
of
members
it
currently
has.
The
membership
fee
is
also
pretty
expensive,
so
it
is
to
be
expected
to
have
a
comfortable
and
not
crowded
gym
experience
when
the
members
pay
premium
prices.
The
gym
itself
is
also
quite
small
compared
to
the
other
John
Reeds,
and
therefore
lacks
a
lot
of
variety
in
machines
and
equipment.
I
assume
this
is
due
to
it
being
a
Women’s
only
gym,
where
the
potential
memberships
are
going
to
have
a
certain
limit.
If
the
current
amount
of
members
is
not
enough
to
get
a
bigger
space,
I
wouldn’t
really
know
the
solution
to
this.
Possibly
a
Women’s
and
LGBTQ
focused
gym
to
ensure
a
bigger
and
fully
equipped
gym
that
can
still
be
somewhat
of
a
safespace?
