Fest steht, daß das vorbezeichnete GALERIA (Karstadt) Berlin, ein Premium - Kaufhaus ist. Insoweit gibt es hier diverse Abteilungen, um sich mit entsprechenden Artikeln und Waren zu versorgen. Die Atmosphäre ist dort sehr angenehm. Was das Personal selbst angeht, es ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und sehr wertvoll. Von daher ist ein alsbaldiger Besuch empfehlenswert. Die Verkäuferin am Uhrenstand war sehr unfreundlich. Nach einer langen Wartezeit war sie sehr unwillig, mich zu bedienen, und bevorzugte es, einen anderen deutschen Kunden zu bedienen. Als ich darauf hinwies, dass ich bereits lange gewartet habe, machte sie mir weiterhin schlechte Laune und beschwerte sich ununterbrochen darüber, dass es zu wenige Mitarbeiter am Stand gibt und sie lieber freundlichere Kunden bedienen würde. Es scheint, dass sie von Anfang an unfreundlich war. Und ist es die Schuld der Kunden, wenn zu wenig Personal vorhanden ist?

Wenig verwunderlich dass diese Kette ums überleben kämpft. Service könnte schlechter kaum sein und die Verkäufer an der Kasse sind nicht willens Produkte zu verkaufen. Das gewünschte Produkt war falsch etikettiert, worauf hin man sich weigerte in der entsprechenden Abteilung nachzufragen. Ich solle es doch bitte (mit Kleinkind) selber klären. Dann kaufe ich es eben bei der Konkurrenz - kein Problem.

On the last day, before returning to Lisbon, my colleagues and I decided to buy some souvenirs and German chocolate. We chose to visit GALERIA because we saw that there was a grocery store on the first floor. I bought various sets of sweets, among which were Lauenstein Confiserie (blue metal box) and Lauenstein Confiserie Edelmarzipan Auslese (red-orange box). Returning to Lisbon, we opened the boxen next morning and found that all the sweets were covered in WORMS! A dead moth lay right in the metal box, and worms were alive moving in the red-orange one. My disappointment is beyond words, as I spent over 40 euros on the sweets and received a rotten product. Unfortunately, my impression of Berlin was ruined by this incident. I don't expect the owners to ever read this review, but I recommend everyone to stay away from this place.

Wer es mag ist hier richtig. Mich stören die ganzen Shops im Eingangsbereich. Keine Ahnung wer da Geld lässt. Wir waren im Restaurant und konnten die total verschmutzten Fenster bewundern. Da gibt es bessere Orte.

I bought a Guerlain Homme shower gel today, and the staff on the ground floor was so nice and jovial. The nice security man was also helpful. I had a very nice experience today!

I think it's one of the best place to purchases sporting goods. Nice veracity - all top brands and the right price. Also in the second floor they have a protein ice cream..very cool

Ein gutes Kaufhaus wo man alles bekommt. Und das beste man kann es vorher ansehen und ausprobieren und kann es gleich mitnehmen. Erhebliche Vorteile im Vergleich zu dem mühsamen Online Shopping. Man kann rumschlendern und sich Inspirationen holen. Dazu gibt es dort oft Rabatte und Aktionen. Schön auch fer Ausblick vom Restaurant und der Dachterrasse. Hoffentlich gibt es das Kaufhaus noch lange.

Eine Dame unten bei der schmuckabteilung war so unfreundlich, dass wir rausgegangen sind weil uns die Lust vergangen ist etwas zu kaufen. Sie beschwerte sich dass „niemand anderes“ da sei und sie nur deshalb kam um uns zu „beraten“ (nachdem wir 5 min da standen und sie dann gebeten haben zu helfen). Allerdings bestand die Beratung nur aus Meckern und eine unfreundlichen Attitüde. Geht man so mit Kunden um?

Der Laden ist leider nicht mehr zeitgemäß und wirkt marode. Man spürt die 3. Insolvenz an vielen Stellen, wenig Kunden im Laden. Früher war das Angebot viel breiter mit einer großen Auswahl. Mir tun die Mitarbeiter leid, wünsche ihnen viel Glück bei einer neuen Jobsuche....

Nice store direktly on the Kudamm near by the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtnis church. If you are looking for something special you sure will find it there.

Great supermarket and multiple eateries underneath the Ku’damm Karstadt. You can enter via escalators from Karstadt or there’s an escalator entry from Augsburger Straße. There’s some shopping stores as well as a book store in the Galleria.

Lovely shop. Restaurant was well stocked and well run. Had mid morning breakfast which was very good. Price was good value.

Unfortunately a bad star due to unprofessionalism. I bought jewelry in Karstadt in Stiglitz. Today I called the branch in Charlottenburg to check something and the customer support answered but she didn't know English. it's not a problem that she didn't know, but she didn't even tried to call a colleague to help me . The same is the case with the branch in Kurfürstendamm only that after some time the connection was cut off when it was transferred to another colleague. no one answered the next call. Very rude,very rude and shame.

Shopping experience is premium. However there could have been more sales at this corona times. Still can't beat the simplicity of P&C or UNIQLO. Visited it today it is not as great as Walther Schreiber branch

Very nice place to buy things, it has a goasia integrated in it, the confectionary is still good like in all karstadts and the upper floors have everything one needs. I was buying pens and paper for Uni and personal journaling and it also has multiple Schneider glide 755 cartriges in fine,medium and broad stroke thickness, so for students and schoolkids wanting some nice pens and other things this would be a good place.

It's okay. Nothing too fancy. As an old traditional German shopping place it's catered towards the 40+ folks. But decent variety of goods and worth a stroll. Salespeople are friendly.

Couldn't find kids rain pants anywhere except here! Great sales staff helped me with what I needed and was able to get the right size. Perfect experience!

Not as great as it used to be. But they still have everything in terms of a very good variety of lounge wear/underwear/lingerie and any sort of socks or hosiery that you may need. Falke, Calvin Klein, etc...

The worst customer service ever experienced. Rude, unhelpful, rolled her eyes when we enquired about a watch, we did buy it and she almost threw it at my friend, unbelievable did not even put in bag, took payment and marched off. Utterly terrible.

I walked in the Karstadt today being thursday 26.10.2023 at 14.30 uhr to buy my foundation from Mac. I needed to use the restroom. Immediately after washing my hands, this woman working at female toilet blocked my way demanding i give her 50 cent. WHAT?? I was shocked and embarrassed infront of people she stood waiting to use the restroom as well. So i told her that i do not have coins to give her, she kept mute and i walked away. That was so RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL of her. As a customer, you give tip willingly and not under control of another or being forced to give. She should be cautioned. Afterall she is being paid.
