ENTÄUSCHEND ❗Wir kennen das Stadtbad Schöneberg seit Jahren. Immer wieder wird wegen Sanierungen geschlossen. Nach Öffnung ist dann leider vieles wieder defekt / ausser Betrieb. Wir hatten uns auf die Eröffnung sehr gefreut. Das Personal hat in den letzten Jahren verstärkt nachgelassen,ziemlich unfreundlich und demotiviert, teilweise sogar frech in Äusserungen zum Kunden. Mitarbeiter die im oberen Bereich zu viert zusammen sitzen und sich unterhalten, dabei Essen und kaum auf die Kunden achten ,ist kein Aufsichtspersonal ! Kassenbereich teilweise auch unfreundlich. WIR WERDEN EINE BESCHWERDE AN DIE BBB SCHREIBEN ! 3x in dieser Woche war ich von den Mitarbeitern wegen des Verhaltens enttäuscht. Jugendliche und Kinder springen vom Beckenrand, ohne das etwas unternommen wird. Im Aussenbereich ist es das gleiche. Die Sprungtürme werden oft nur alle 2 Stunden geöffnet oder bleiben ganz geschlossen und nur kurze Zeit offen ,obwohl Personal vorhanden ist. ( Diese aber lieber am Handy beschäftigt sind ) Es kommt des öfteren vor, das Rückwärts die Rutsche hochgeklettert wird. Wofür sind die Mitarbeiter da ,wenn diese sich nicht zuständig fühlen ? Unterbesetzt sind diese " Bademeister" im Stadtbad Schöneberg auf keinen Fall .Angebracht wäre es, wenn das gesamte Team sich aufteilt und im Schwimmbad präsent ist, damit Kunden ein schönes Freizeiterlebnis haben. Auch die Sanitären Anlagen lassen zu wünschen übrig. So lief die Spülung nicht und das Wasser auch nicht,Klopapier fehlte ganz. Wir machten die Mitarbeiter und Mitarbeiterinnen mehrfach darauf aufmerksam. Kinder werden von uns nicht allein zum Schwimmen geschickt,sondern nur in Begleitung zur Sicherheit. Zur Zeit ist das Restaurant geschlossen.5 € für eine Portion Pommes war auch recht viel. Es sollte sich im Interesse aller Badegäste etwas ändern.

I enjoyed having a casual swim in this Stadtbad! It was very clean, private rooms to change in addition to showers and a platform for hair drying! there were lockers with 1€ deposit which made life easier. The main pool is around 25m long, I was lucky that it was not crowdy. Also there are two platforms to jump from, but only available at certain times! What I enjoyed the most here was the salted pool, with all the Jaccuzzi effects, it kept me very relaxed till the end of the day! Moreover, there is also another area downstairs for kids, featuring a small pool where a part of it outdoors, it can surely be great in the summer! There is also one water slide, its nothing much, but surely the kids will enjoy their time there! The staff was also friendly in helping us choose which ticket to book suitable for our needs!

War OK, zwar sind einige Fliesen im Schwimmbad unter Wasser locker, aber es war angenehm. Nicht zu voll..leider sehr schlecht ausgeschildert, somit haben wir erst beim rausgehen gesehen das es mehr als nur eine Rutsche und Kinderbecken dort gibt. Freundlich sind sie da alle. Die umkleide ist sehr sauber.

We went for baby swimming. Clean changing room and spacious. They offer changing table for babies which is really thoughtful. Unfortunately there is only one baby changing table so we had to queue. There is also a baby bed on the floor so that you could put the baby in it when you change clothes. There are lockers in the changing room so bring 1 euro coin with you. Hair dryers cost 50 cents. The staffs are friendly. Baby swimming course was quite interesting and my baby loves it. But the quality of water is not so good. My baby stayed in water for 30 -40 mins and he had rashes on his back. They disappeared few hours later but it would be good if the quality of water is better.

I liked it - it’s all very clean and a nice modern building with pools on two levels (it took me a while to understand that the swimming lanes are upstairs) and here why I gave only 4 stars: there are not real lanes set and no one here understands to at least try to swim in a straight line .. it was more like exercising in a lake with people confusingly swimming in alle directions 😅

Für Menschen mit Behinderungen, die auf einen Rollstuhl angewiesen sind, ist dieses Bad eine Zumutung, nichts weniger. Man wird dazu genötigt, aus angeblichen Hygienegründen einen vom Schwimmbad bereitgestellten Rollstuhl zu benutzen, wenn man in das Schwimmbad will (in die Umkleide würde man noch dürfen). Ich habe unten ein paar Fotos von dem Rollstuhl gemacht. Der Umstand einen solchen Rollstuhl nutzen zu müssen, ist bereits eine Zumutung, aber der Zustand ist eine Frechheit (siehe die Bilder). Die Mitarbeiter sind am Maximum dessen, was man als unhöflich bezeichnen kann. Es scheint auch nur einen Rollstuhl zu geben, da wäre es spannend zu wissen, was passiert, wenn mehrere hinein wollen. Wir wurden dann noch, freundlich wie die Grundstimmung bei diesen Leuten war, darauf hingewiesen, dass das Bad nicht verpflichtet dazu wäre, das gekaufte, aber nicht eingelöste, Ticket zurückzunehmen. PS.: Als wir rausgingen kamen mehrere Leute mit Kindern, die offensichtlich auch auf einen Rollstuhl angewiesen sind und denen wir unsere Ablehnung gegen den Rollstuhl mitteilten. Wir haben dann den Vorgang beobachtet und offenbar wird auch den Kindern nicht gestattet, mit ihrem Rollstuhl ins Bad zu gehen und die Erwachsenen, die dabei waren, hatten sich dazu entschlossen, das Kind zu tragen. Nie wieder. Und natürlich ist sowas ein Fall für die Behörden. Im Übrigen selbst dann, wenn die Hausordnung die Nutzung des eigenen Rollstuhls verbietet. Dieser Teil dürfte in der Hausordnung einer öffentlichen Einrichtung gar nicht stehen!

Für unsere Kinder war es ein schöner Aufenthalt in dem Stadtbad Schöneberg. In dieser Halle gibt es im Erdgeschoss ein Planschbecken für die Babys, ein Nichtschwimmer-Becken mit einer kleinen Rutsche, welches mit Außenbebecken verbunden ist und eine große (langsame) Rutsche für Kinder ab 6 Jahre. Im Obergeschoss gibt's noch ein Becken für Kinder und ein kleines Pool mit Salzwasser. Außerdem befindet sich oben ein Standard Schwimmbecken mit einem abgegrenzten Bereich für Training. Zur Zeit sind die Whirlpools leider außer Betrieb. Der Dusch-Bereich ist klein und die Ablagemöglichkeiten für Handtücher und Duschzeug knapp. Wenig Parkplätze. Parken in der Straße sehr teuer - das muss man wissen.

EDIT: I've tried this swimming pool again during school hours and it was quieter, however there's still just one line for swimming. Still people swimming in random directions and in completely different speeds, making it very hard and frustrating for serious swimmers. I don't understand why there isn't a *fast lane*, and a *slow lane*. I won't return again. "" If you're serious about swimming, then avoid this place. Lots of loud rude teenagers. People just hanging out occupying space... And others swimming in random directions. The space is beautiful, but the type of crowd that uses this pool might make your experience very frustrating.

Waste of time and money if you want to have a workout. 10 minutes changing/shower, 10 minutes looking around seeing if I missed something or if I could building up confidence to try and swim anywhere, and 10 minutes to shower and leave. A waste of 30 minutes and 5€. No lanes or any direction you can swim without running into people. I didn't even try but if you saw it you wouldn't blame me. Only two stars because you might enjoy it if your have children and are looking for more of a playground-pool than a swimming-pool. Could be improved if they moved the leisure activities to the other pools and at least set some lanes for actually swimming.

Insgesamt ganz okay und ich bin froh, dass es so ein Bad in der Nähe gibt, aber leider trüben einige Dinge meine Begeisterung: * 5,50€ für 90 min ist nicht gerade günstig. Dazu ist das Solebecken (wohl ein Grund für den Preis) meist geschlossen. Einige andere Becken habe ich nie offen gesehen. Das Bad bietet für Erwachsene also eigentlich nur ein paar Bahnen zum Schwimmen und ein Außenbecken. Warum es also teuerer als andere Bäder ist, ist nicht klar. * Weite Teile des Jahres ist das Bad für die Öffentlichkeit geschlossen. * Die Aushänge, dass das Bad wegen Sanierung geschlossen wird, wurden sehr kurzfristig und nicht an der Kasse aufgehängt. Die Info hätte ich gerne vor dem Kauf einer 10er-Karte gehabt. * Besonders ärgerlich ist aber, dass das Personal kaum präsent ist, wenn sich Badegäste sehr störend verhalten. Ein weiterer Schwachpunkt ist, dass das Bad meist recht voll ist. Das ist natürlich keine Kritik am Bad! Aber für Menschen, die auf etwas leerere Bahnen hoffen, ist es trotzdem wissenswert.

I prebooked and still had to stand in a queue to go through the stall so its really pointless buying tickets online. And definitely don't complain to security because you get put into the naughty corner (and told that they will open the second teller) and end up waiting way longer than if you just shut your mouth and stayed in the original queue. Just stay in the matrix like a good little sausage and everything will be fine.

It’s a very clean swimming pool, with jazucci kind of pressurized water therapy that’s good for your body, outdoor heated pool in winter, and water slide, and also a huge swimming pool. I paid 7,50€ for a 3 hours session, totally worth it.

Vermeidet dieses Schwimmbad 6 bademitarbeiter sitzen in ihrem Glas Haus wo sich 2 Frauen draußen streiten kein essensladen kein rauchen kostet 10 Euro Erwachsene 8 Euro Kinder ist ein spasbad anscheinend wo nur eine rutsche existiert whirlpool( blubberwasser ) abgesperrt Springturnier alle 2 Std nur auf 10 min 1er Springreiten 10min 3 er springbecken leicht verdientes Geld für die Angestellten Qual für die Gäste da ist jeder Schwimmbad besser als dieses

Nice big pool with place for learners and hot bathing. Lots of lockers and bathing showers availability. My only recommendation is, it will be better if we can control the shower speed and water hotness. Water speed in shower is very fast and it hits really hard sometimes.

For this price don’t want to complain too much. It’s generally quite clean, loads of lockers (make sure you have 1€ coin!), hair dryers available as well (must have 0.5 cent coin as well though). Depending on times it can get crowded in the pool as indeed there are no lanes. My biggest criticism is that the staff don’t try keeping the pool “organized” they allow groups of teenagers stand at the end of the pool, not swimming but just taking space to play flight, or just people who want to chat in the pool, however block starting wall for others. I think for this price it’s still great option. P.s there’s one hot jacuzzi currently available, two others are not working.

It is very clean , stuff is nice but its too crowded for regular swimming workout . I used it as "replacement " when the swimming hall in marienfelde is closed. But i always felt "do i wanna go again" , because dodging other swimmers or teens having fun gets annoying and even impossible when the diving board opens .

It's big, clean and a good designed space that lacks food and drink. There is a cafe inside but it's berely open. If you are thinking about spending the day with your family, be prepared. There is not even an automat for water.

Uns hat es gut gefallen. Das Wasser ist recht angenehm temperiert, wenn man schwimmt. Wenn in Zukunft auch wieder das Solebecken aktiv ist, dann würde ich fünf Sterne geben. Die große Rutsche ist echt super! Das Schwimmbad ist zwar nicht mehr neu und das sieht man auch hier und da, aber wir mochten den Stil mit dem vielen Glas! Ich verstehe die eher weniger guten Bewertungen nicht. Das Schwimmbad hat mehr zu bieten als viele andere normale Bäder in Berlin. Ich gehe gern wieder hin!

the Stadtbad Schöneberg "Hans Rosenthal" named after a famous Showmaster with jewish background is a beautiful, 1930 opened and 2012 completely renovated swimming pool in clinker brick construction. bright, clean, transparent. unfortunately much too small. the salt pool is often broken. Despite several attempts, there's still no sauna. The rarely frequented restaurant in the swimming pool could have been dispensed with in favor of a larger swimming pool. that gets very full quickly. the separate swimming lanes are constantly occupied by swimming courses. the rest of the tank then becomes a shark tank. And at the weekend, the pool quickly turns into a noisy family hell, where swimmers can quickly go insane. otherwise it's ok.

I like it here. 2 problems though: - if you're planning on have a training session, you should account for people swimming all around and in the way at times. Sometimes only half the pool would be available, because swimming courses would be running on the other half. - if you wanna use the hot salty tub, you could have bad luck with your timing as they apparently turn off the bubbles for around an hour every hour. That at least was my experience yesterday. I waited inside the (not so hot) tub for those bubbles for 50 minutes and then gave up and went home. I guess they forgot (?) To turn it on? Which would just be a lazy excuse. Because the guy told me beforehand they turn it off because they don't want the pump to overheat. Other than those two points I like it there. So only 2 stars less than 5.

I love to go here on winter because the water is very warm. The locker room is really clean, shower room is also great. I frequently go here on winter because the temperature is very good to swim. Sad that it's not open for a while now, but I hope the place improves for more exciting experience. My experience in the pool was okay, just sometimes must be patient with the crowded visitors, but it's not a big deal for me. You have to bring 1 or 2 euro coins to use locker and 5 cents to use hair dryer. It's my favorite swimming pool in Berlin 😄

relaxing pools of fitting size for pleasant crowd once you manage the oversized lockers maze

A good place for people with kids to spend some time in the water or out of it, as there are some lounge chairs and also a cafe right there by the pool. The ground floor has a small wading pool for kids, and a bit deeper one with a big slide. The bigger pool connects with another one outside that has an artificial current. On the first floor, there's a swimmers pool, a non-swimmers pool and a jacuzzi, the cafe is also there. I give it 4 stars because for the swimmers, it's meh. The longest pool is only 25 m and is not even fully split into lanes. It's also too crowded to have any kind of a real workout, though perhaps it should be expected on a Saturday. The other thing that was meh is hair dryers that ONLY take 5 cent coins. I had 10 cents, 20, 50... nope. I left with wet hair as a result.

The locker room and showers are perfectly fine. The 25m pool would be fine too if not for the lack of lanes. It’s very disorganised with people constantly swimming at each other from opposite directions. If only a bit more guidance were introduced (lanes and dedicated „sport” lanes) it would be a great place to have a proper workout. Right now navigating through people who hang out in the pool is a drag.
