I was brought to this hospital in my first asthma attack ever, being a foreigner living in Berlin without family, it was very scary. But the whole medical team was simply amazing. I am so grateful for every single person who made part of my treatment. Empathetic team, very well prepared nurses and doctors. Neben den fachlichen Qualitäten, trug ganz sicher die überaus menschliche und freundliche Umgangsform der Ärzte und des Pflegeteams, einschließlich der teilweise sehr jungen Hilfskräfte, zu einer psychischen und mentalen Stärkung meinerseits bei. Dies mache ich mitverantwortlich für meine sehr schnelle Genesung. Ob Chefarzt oder "Frischling" null Arroganz oder Abgehobenheit, sondern Beratung und Abstimmung mit dem Patienten. Er klärte mich über alle relevanten Vorgänge auf, besprach das für und wider und überlies letztendlich mir die Entscheidung. Sein Verhalten gab mir Mut und psychologische Unterstützung. Dies dürfte bei einer Krebserkrankung von unschätzbarer Wichtigkeit sein. Solche Ärzte sind ein Gewinn für die Patienten! Genau vor einer Woche (14.02.2019) lag ich zu dieser Zeit (12:30h) noch unter Narkose. Jetzt sitze ich ohne irgendwelche Beschwerden oder Schmerzen gut gelaunt am Laptop, nur 35 cm von meinem Dickdarm fehlen mir, aber darauf verzichte ich gerne. Der Umgang mit Patienten ist schlecht, unpassend und willkürlich. Wir werden uns erstmal mit dem Krankenhaus Bethel in Verbindung setzen, bevor wir dann die Ärztekammer benachrichtigen.
