I've been taking part in hapkido for two years and it's just so great and varied. I have become so self-confident through this martial art and feel safer because I simply know that I can defend myself without hurting this person straight away. My martial arts teachers are also the best because they show us everything and teach us a lot of things like boxing, lever school, throwing school, self-defense, weapons school (i.e. if someone wants to attack us and he pulls a knife, how to defend yourself against it) Kicks are shown to us, everything, and the teachers listen even if you have something on your mind, so I recommend that everyone, whether boy or girl, stop by and just take a look at it and get a great impression of how great it is Martial arts is. Both sons (now 17 and 11 years old) have been members of the Hapkido Team Berlin for several years. Great sport, great team, great organization (especially the commitment of the coaches during the Corona pandemic to get something going within the possibilities set by the government must be praised!!! The sports school has been renovated in recent months and has a more modern shine. In terms of self-defense and character building, this is the best thing I could give to my sons. When the kids are training, the parents can either drink a coffee and watch the training on a monitor or work out in the integrated fitness studio by paying a reasonable, in my opinion, quite humane monthly fee.
