I am super disappointed with this membership. I pay €70.00 for the M package and my bookings are constantly canceled by my partner by email or telephone. Because it's full and I'm told that the club members have priority, even though I've booked a week in advance. I think it's cheeky when I book an appointment a week in advance and I've registered earlier, but it still gets canceled. Not really recommended.

I want to share the perspective of a yoga studio that recently decided to end the partnership with USC. We started our partnership over 3 years ago in the Fall of 2019. Back then we negotiated the fee for USC check-ins and decided it was ok for us to accept a much lower amount than our regular prices, as we saw the opportunity to grow our student body and offer our services to more people. In retrospective, there had been warning signs about how USC run their business that I wish we hadn't ignored. For instance we once inquired about the check-in fee for M members (we only accepted L and XL) and we received one answer from a USC spokesperson. We decided not to proceed but after a few months we inquired again. Well, the answer we received from a different USC spokesperson was way below the previous offer. We asked for the ratio behind such drop but USC - literally - never answered the question. Big lack of transparency. Fast forward to the pandemic and lockdowns. USC unilaterally decides that only a very limited number of studios can offer their online classes on the platform. We (and many other studios) repeatedly ask how those studios were picked and if there was any specific criteria we should meet in order to be included in the offer. Again, no answers, zero transparency. This felt particularly unfair, as we invested in a lot of video/audio equipment to improve our offer but were left out of the platform without even being made aware of which criteria were used to pick the studios that got to keep their offer active. Fast forward again to Fall 2022. Over two years of pandemic, multiple lockdowns, long months of class capacity limitation, now inflation + a war that skyrocketed prices and energy prices. We clearly live in a different world compared to 2019 when we initially negotiated the fees with USC. So we ask USC to please renegotiate the fees since everything changed around us (including our regular prices) and those fees are not sustainable anymore. Once again, USC stuns us with the most dismissive answer: “that’s not possible, we ask for your understanding”. Now, I can accept that you’re also being impacted by the big changes around the world, but I expect - at the very least - an explanation as to why you categorically refuse to start a conversation with a partner about a vital aspect of the partnership. To come to a conclusion of this long review: the combination of almost predatory fees and complete lack of transparency convinced us that we didn’t want to partner with USC anymore. Learning that USC is actually raising the cost of their memberships and drastically reducing the offer to its members but refuses to share the extra income with those who make their very existence possible - their partner studios and gyms - only convinced us more that we made the right decision. Bye bye Urban Sports Club!

They customer support is a night mare. I’m in contact for nearly four months and they haven’t been able to solve an issue which they caused. They motivated me to get a legal expenses insurance to not deal with issues like this in the future. :( The idea behind urban sports is amazing. It was something I really would like to support. But this is a no go.

I have to say I'm very disappointed with the Urban sports TEAM. It is clear that all they want to do is get your money and they do not live by the principles of what makes a company respectable and trustworthy: THE HUMAN ASPECT. Their marketing strategies are really what I call "dirty ones" since the messages on their website are confusing and not clear enough for someone to understand. It's a shame since I really enjoyed the App itself. I had an L membership, meaning I was paying almost 90 euros per month- I needed to leave Berlin for a while and I tried to cancel my membership since I really needed the money to help a friend in need- but for some reason or another, I tried to cancel my subscription with my computer and did not go through- At that point I was sure I canceled my subscription and have not used one single entry from the moment I thought I "canceled"- I only realized that it did not go through when they charge my card the 90 euros I was trying to save to send abroad for my friend in need. Of course, I contacted customer support to explain the situation and apologize for the fact that I might have made something wrong while canceling ( after all they make u go through so many steps before you can actually cancel the membership) and probably I got confused and I thought the cancellation went through. ( after all, we are humans! not robots!!) I told them I really needed this money I was saving for my friend ( after all 90 euros is a lot for the fact that I was not in Berlin anymore and I was not even using their services anymore) but their answer was something I have never expected before. As a loyal customer and paying for one of the most expensive plans, I would have expected a bit of understanding and a bit of compassion, but instead, they choose to not give me a refund, even if I had not used one single entry. It would have been very different if I would have kept on using the app and then request a refund, but I was not even in Berlin and was not expecting to keep on paying for my membership until I return. I was really sad to hear that they did not care at all about the fact that I really needed this money to help my friend. The answer I got really reflects how little they actually care about people and how much they care to just make profits. It would have been as simple as pressing one button for them... but they refuse. I'm really disappointed at this point to see how companies that have great potential and concepts, choose to live by principles that are not aligned with what they seem to communicate. I would have been a really loyal customer if they would have been a bit more empathic and understanding. But they choose not to, and in the end, they gain 90 euros, but they lost all the $$ I would have kept on spending on them for my future subscriptions. And now, I hope they even lose more when people see this review and chose not to subscribe.

I was also a satisfied customer for several years. Unfortunately I had to take a break due to a knee injury. Since I now have to have an operation, I won't be able to use the offer for a long time. I missed the notice period by one day and asked for goodwill, i.e. to let me out of the contract anyway so that I don't have to pay for the next month in vain. I'm already pretty frustrated with my situation and really disappointed that customer service didn't respond to my concerns individually at all. Instead, I was dismissed over and over again via standard answers, pointing out the guidelines. 1307825 is the ticket number, thanks for the feedback

Speaking from a studio owner perspective: I have messaged them via the contact form for partners ages ago - no response and today I find out that they apparently misinterpreted the message as a cancellation which means that our account will be cancelled on 1 April even though that was not the request. A student told us that they received an email telling them that we will not be here anymore. Really? There is no phone number, responses take ages, there is no service focus towards partners at all and we feel totally lost. USC - please please, get back to us. Ideally with a friendly phone call!

For me the Urban Sports Club is ideal. I can even continue to use my old studio and practice or just try out many other sports.

after removing the possibility to go 2 times a day, the attractiveness of the service decreased significantly. I've only used it once or twice, but the freedom of not having to think about what to choose, or returning a few hours later to the same gym, is gone. now the usual subscription to the gym has become more attractive and cheaper

Nice concept if you want to try different sports/gyms in your city. You can even use it when you travel to other cities in Germany/EU. S-membership is very limited and it’s gotten really expensive overall. Customer service takes 7-10 days when you have an issue which is way too long. Recently they limited the check-ins to one per day (after raising the monthly fee) which makes me think about cancelling it. If you raise the prices you should at least keep the standard or maximize it but not limited it. That just doesn’t make sense. I would recommend it when you are new in a city and want to find a new gym/studio for sports or if you like to alternate between place and don’t want to settle for one option. Price for value wise it’s definitely more affordable to get a regular membership at one studio. And one can only wait for USC to change the conditions again and make the price for value ratio even less attractive …

Unfortunately, during my current contract the conditions became increasingly worse, to the detriment of the customer. In the beginning you could take a break on any day of the month. This was changed and only offered for the following month. Now during my Covid-19 break, money was debited despite the break and I can't even take a break for the following month due to my company membership. There is also no telephone hotline for customer service. This is how you lose long-standing customers. Definitely not recommended.

Tested Urban Sports Club for three months for a special price. However, I find the user friendliness not good and will discontinue the use. There are so many clubs in the app that are marked as closed or where I have to check the website. The clubs often require another app or registration or extra charge. That is not a customer friendly and looking for spontaneous workouts is practically not possible because there are no filtering options.

Don’t become a member! Making it hard to cancel a subscription and instead promoting a pause. This leads to a situation where after 6 months you get forced into another subscription and charged, with a single reminder mail that your pause is ending (which of course goes straight to spam). After informing them about not even living in a country that has urban sports there is no help from customer support. No way to treat your customers nowadays.

Horrible customer service! No phone to call only email, then it took them one month to reply to me, but no solution, just „this is how we are, take it or leave it“, told me there’s no call possible, that my case will be always be handled by the same person, means no hope to get it solved other than the iron „sorry we don’t know, we only charge you the membership fee.“ Tried the XL membership, for 150€ a month, you can’t even get any massage appointments, app doesn’t work, they just tell you to reinstall, and „no way will you get the money back because you already checked in for one or two classes.“ One or two classes for 150€?! Tried to charge me too while I was pausing! Will never come back again, just horrible people to deal with, as if they are robots. Then if you click on cancel button, it tells you can’t be canceled this month even the billing cycle hasn’t started yet, they want to eat your money for one month more! I mean is this a business who wants our money or is it worse than tax office? It charges you without having to provide a service and behave worse than a government institution!

The idea is good and in the beginning we all were happy customers, but unfortunately recently they introduced many changes that is just moving the focus from us the sports enthusiasts to the corporate offerings or to being more efficient (to avoid saying more profitable). There is a one activity per day limit that is just hard pill to swallow, finding a massage spot/slot is close to impossible. They say it's the necessity and the ones that wish to do more could pay more. The app needs a lot of improvement, searching for venues is slow and not intuitive, same goes for the activities. All in all it's a good way to stay active without having to commit to one gym or studio, but it's not cheap and comes with some hurdles...

I tried the L package of Urban Sports Club within their three month discounted trial period. During this trial I went for vacation for a month, so it didn't make sense to pay for a month and I paused a month. Logically one would assume that a paused month would not count into the trial period. But Urban Sports Club unfortunately counted the pause month as the second month. Therefore I paid for the third month of using Urban Sports Club the full fee instead of the discounted. I contacted their support, but they didn't want to offer any solution for this horrible customer experience. I don't mind paying the full amount, but it's about the principle. Instead of offering me the agreed three months discount they offered a bad customer experience. After the fourth month I cancelled. I'd recommend being careful with their discounted offers. Other than that the product itself is great. For Hamburg the wide range of activities might be a great solution. Especially for people who like to do different things, instead of committing only to one studio.

Used to be great but but now they are super untrustworthy. I joined up again after a while to L and companies they list as partners are not members with them. So they use them as bait for you to sign up but you'll soon realise it's not possible to book anything - i called a few and they said they left Urban Sports a long time ago. When i contacted customer service i got the usual - thank you we'll be in touch but it might take some time email. Which i think means they will never respond.

As much as I like what they are doing I have to leave unfortunately a bad review. The app is working fine, visited some gyms without any problems. Perfect if you traveling around. Unfortunately, the app is just very bad. It is impossible to login and cancel the membership. The login page is just not loading for days. They make it impossible to cancel the membership. They should definitely rebuilt the app and make it working. For now one star.

Incredibly not supporting, absolutely no customer service, no answer to my many messages since 3 days, impossible to cancel membership! I wanted to stop my subscription as I was very unsatisfied with the services provided - there is much-much less activities than the number of venues, most of the venues are not even active, which makes it very hard to find a class in the middle of Berlin outside of working hours - totally not what you would expect. Furthermore, the application does not work properly, I was sent to the wrong location for a class, even though I opened the location from the application. Of course, I could not even participate in the class, wasted 2 hours for getting ready, travelling there, knocking on the wrong door and travelling back home, and the application even shows that I was late for class! I contacted Urban Sports Club to stop my subscription (and also asked for a refund as I could not use their app) , but they have not responded to me for over 3 days, even after 3 complaints in the application and 1 email... I read in the comments that you should put #Google and then they answer, but even that does not work. Maybe they just simply don't want me to stop paying? I would absolutely not recommend them. Great concept, horrible implementation.

The concept is great and works fine most of the time, until you have any kind of issue and need the customer service. Worst customer service ever. Be careful when creating the account, they give you the option of choosing the start date but, at least in my case, it doesn't work and they charge you from the day you create the account. When you contact them to explain and ask them to correct their mistake, they take 10 days for answering and of course they say is your problem.

Works alright until there are issues (not able to check in, classes cancelled without notification), then customer service is difficult to deal with. In one month, I went to three classes where I either couldn’t check in and was turned away or the class was cancelled and USC still had the class available online and checked me in (class was deducted still from my visits). When I mentioned this to customer service they blamed the merchants. Ended up losing a lot of time. I wouldn’t recommend USC to family or friends

Basically, for my situation, it is very pleasant to do sports in the regions where I travel. It would be nice to have more opportunities for personal contact, wherever possible, or to have more transparency with the respective partners. For example, sports club, drinks, EGym or personal instruction etc. It is too complicated to find information! Some of the employees have a different state of affairs!

Limited in options for locations farer outside the ring. The M membership only allows one check in per day. Made two bookings in one day and only found out when checking in. Their app doesn't warn you when making the booking so you have to remember. Otherwise if you live within or near the ring, the options offered are pretty good. It would be nice if you can filter classes by language in their app.

I was offering massage though USC, but I couldn't make more than a pitiful minimum wage. It's good if you are a complete beginner, as you can use it to get people to practice massage on, but you cannot live from what they pay without going very fast into burnout. I have asked them to take me off their site three times, but they haven't done it and it and have yet to respond to the request. Update - the only way to get them to respond is to leave a review here. It seems they won't take me off their site or allow me to change the info displayed. So I wonder, how many other USC partners are in the same situation? To their customers, it looks like there is massage available to L and XL users in Prenzlauerberg - but that's not the case. As a member, I used to see studios on the app who never ran any classes - so perhaps they were in the same situation as me - too injured or broke to continue, but USC keep them on the site

As a boulderer I'm able to save a lot of money with Urban Sports Club, since I'm able to visit three different climbing studios with a single membership. When I needed support related to my account it was okay. I can't however speak for the perspective of a studio owner, whether they handle and compensate their partners fairly or not.

I like the overall concept and flexibility to change or pause my membership when I need to. I have L pro membership, and the choice of venues is quite good, but 1 check-in per day is very limiting. Also I think that recently introduced policy of late cancellation fees (5Euro if canceled later than 12 hours before the class start) is too strict, no-cancellation window could be a bit shorter.

Edit: I was contacted by the support service in less than 24 hours and we are working on a solution. Warning: bug impeding to cancel trial period. I signed up with the automatic debit option to be activated after a 14-trial period. Big mistake. The system is buggy and it doesn’t allow me to log in* -not even once- even though I have received a confirmation from my PayPal account indicating that the permission to proceed with a payment to Urban Sports Club was submitted. Long story short: no access to my account means no chance to cancel the 66€ monthly subscription before trial period (that I am not able to experience) ends. Besides, no perspective on a reply from the email support due to high volume of complaints (14 week- just in time for my direct debit to occur) ****The password keeps appearing as wrong/not matching the email, even though I keep on sending a reset password URL to my email account.

Increase of the price, followed by 1 check-in per day restriction (even for facilities that already restricted to 4 check-ins per month) made it not worth it. Meanwhile there very few really good facilities are available. Restriction N check-ins per month (30 would be good,) would be more convenient.

UPDATE: GETTING WORSE. DRASTIC INDIRECT PRICE INCREASE. DANGER! Brazenly hidden and very DRASTIC PRICE INCREASE. Very unfair. I previously had M as a membership and was able to go to my studio once a day. TODAY I STANDED IN FRONT OF A LOCKED DOOR. URBAN SPORTS HAS BACKED THE TARIFF. In order to continue visiting my studio every day, I now need tariff L. IT'S ALMOST TWICE AS EXPENSIVE!!! (€69 before, now €109!!!!) GUYS, CHANGE PROVIDER!! THIS IS THE FINAL THING! -- 2 stars for a fair price. Otherwise, really no recommendation: Very bad service: There is no hotline if you can't make a booking or can't get into a club. Problem with course offerings: Good courses are always fully booked for weeks. Waiting list practically impossible.

Unfortunately, I now have to say that the performance has steadily gotten worse over the years. With the Pro tariff I have always only had one check-in per day, but there is a minimum duration, no pause, etc., now this has also been introduced for private customers. I find this, in conjunction with the respective limits per partner, quite customer-unfriendly. For example, in a spa that also offers massages, you can't check in and check in for the massage on the same day, but only either/or. It is my subjective impression that Wellpass is the better product in many respects. I suspect they can calculate differently because they save a lot of end customer support through exclusive access via a company or employer. There is one tariff, no limits on usage and many more acceptance partners, especially outside the cities. And when you talk to the studios / providers you get the impression that Wellpass customers are welcome, USC members are somehow less so because of the many rules that have to be observed here. Even with providers who cooperate with USC and Wellpass, the Wellpass often offers better performance (e.g. 4 hours of sauna no matter when versus “only 3 hours and only at off-peak times”). I was at USC for a good 4 years and used to happily recommend him. Now I'm happy that I now have the opportunity to switch to Wellpass for the next 1st and would recommend everyone who can use it, USC is only an emergency solution if there is no other option.

I don't really understand why they limited the number of check ins per day to one. Other Thant that it is really nice. The spectrum of sports is really nice. For the price of the M-package only being able to go to the gym 8 times per month is pretty low!!!

It was worth 5 stars before but not anymore! They keep increasing their prices and instead of adding features, they're taking them away! Clearly just out of greed and sadly steering away from what made USC great in the beginning. The new 'one check-in per day-rule' makes no sense! If you need to limit the check-ins to not loose money to power users, do it in a weekly or monthly manner. Now if I am sick or just feel lazy for 30 out of 31 days but on one day I want to go swimming before work and also have a yoga class in the evening, I can't! Why? Because that is to much to ask for? That's just silly and clearly a money grabbing scheme! Introduce a 7 check-ins per week limit or 31 per month and let the users decide how to use them! That's the what they are paying for! I have been a happy paying customer for over 5 years until this new policy. Now I am seriously considering quitting my membership just because of that!

I am so happy to have the service of Urban sports. This allows me to join different classes and courses as well as wellness and fitness activities according to my schedule and without any worry about subscriptions. Unfortunately they changed the policies to limit the check ins to only once a day which made it more complicated as I really enjoyed some days to have more than one activity and other days I did not used it at all. I would be more happy with a 30 check ins limit a month so I can arrange them as I see convenient

I'm finding Urban Sports great so far as a new member (M)! What could be improved: that if you have the M membership and therefore only have one check-in per day, you can only book one activity per day. Just had the case today and in this way you run into a fee trap because of the cancellation fees.

I was always paying for the M tariff and was okay, now as student they don't offer any discount so I changed to S tariff which in the past was okay, they still had some spots and variety and was working fine for the money I was paying. Now they changed it and there is basically not courses you can attend on this tariff. They have couple of online courses per week, and there are days without even any online course, you can just go to the swimming pool 4x month. This S tariff is a waste of money, as a student you can go to the swimming pool with a better discount.

I really enjoy using USC and I never had any problems. Also the custom service was really friendly and approachable. But I don’t understand the recent adjustments to one check per day. Some days I enjoy a more intense training in different venues than on others. So this adjustment is a big downgrade for me especially with the same pricing. Maybe there is a reason I don’t understand and if so I would be happy to hear why.

The concept is cool, although most of the venues in Berlin are yoga studios, you can find some other different ones. However BIG BUT: 1/ the app has few bugs, freezes and the search is hard to navigate since some time now. 2/ their customer service is remarkably rude and unable to think out of the box. 3/ the late cancellation t&c are abusive (specially for early classes) and requires you to share with them medical information to wave the fees, which I am personally not feeling comfortable doing. All in all looking for more flexible, friendly alternatives with a professional customer service.

I pay €70 and can only check in once a day, which I unfortunately find to be unusable. And 4 gym checks in the limit are unfortunately unusable. I'll have to look for alternatives A pity. I have been a customer for several years and was initially very enthusiastic

Unfortunately, the online offering is constantly being reduced. Now only one check-in per day is possible. It doesn’t matter whether it’s 15 minutes of meditation or 1 hour of Pilates. I think it's a shame because it makes the short sessions in particular very unattractive. The monthly limit was better, regardless of which days you trained and how much.

I actually really like USC, but I'm extremely disappointed with the support. I had contacted them in advance about a company membership for an employee. I was told that this wasn't a problem and that we should just enter everything online. Now that everything has been clarified with the company, everything has been approved, so that the company membership with the USC can actually begin. Well, but not with USC, as it is no longer possible to take out a company membership for one person. Support just apologizes for the employee's incorrect information and that's it. Overall I am very disappointed!

I am really very unhappy with USC customer support. Basically, I think USC is a great offer and I'm very happy with it. Unfortunately, I will be moving abroad from May 1st, 2024. Unfortunately, there is no USC in the country I am moving to. So I wrote to customer support and they were very friendly and told me that unfortunately I had to cancel my membership and that I would take advantage of the special right of cancellation. I would also be happy to provide all the necessary documents. Now I was informed that this was not possible because you can only cancel after one year. I then write back that I can't understand it because the nearest club is 250 km away from where I live and I would hope for goodwill. I was only answered that they could understand me, but that the request would now be closed. 1. Absolutely no customer goodwill 2. Really bad customer support (just cancel because you don't feel like discussing things or what?) 3. You can get out of EVERY contract if you move abroad and can prove this, but not with Urban Sports? I absolutely cannot understand this and would really think three times about taking out another membership.

So far it has worked without any problems. Now I have a new cell phone and my account was promptly blocked for 24 hours with no way to cancel it! So you're paying for something that you can't fully use. Dubious practice!

Be careful with the notice period and contractual partners!!! I've only had my membership since December 24 through a company discount. At this time, "John Reed" was advertised, among other things. In April, without any prior notice, an email arrived stating that John Reed would no longer be included in the contract as of April 3, 2024. Here you cannot fundamentally rely on the offers remaining valid throughout the year of your membership. Where we are with membership of one year: The wording of the notice period is more than misleading. It says: "If you cancel at least three days before the start of your next membership month, your membership will end at the end of the current payment cycle." Any sane person assumes that the “current payment cycle” means the current membership month. But no. Instead, this means that you can see online how long you have been a member and this is the date of the payment cycle. You couldn't have simply written that termination could only take place after 12 months. That would be too easy.

Been using USC for 3 years already, and not sure what happened along the way, but for the past year their customer service stopped functioning. I've been sending multiple emails, contacted them through the website, and no response. They stopped giving services through the live chat and don't have a support over the phone either. It's a shame because I truly liked the whole concept, but without a functioning customer support I don't see myself returning any time soon.

I’ve been a member of USC since 2017 and am absolutely happy that I discovered it back then! This service has changed the way I do sports - it gives countless opportunities to try out many different sports at absolutely fair price and as much as you wish. Sometimes I just look into the app, find the next possible course and go there - it gives me all the choice and flexibility I need to do sports regularly and to find time in the busy schedule. It's insane how many great fitness places I discovered in the last couple of years which I would have never ever discovered without USC because of missing contract flexibility and commitment to just one studio. Also, USC doesn’t push you to any obligations to stay at one specific fitness place for at lest 2 years as it is common at most German fitness studios with their long-term contracts. I have to admit, the response times of USC customer care during the pandemic have significantly increased but it’s totally understandable - Corona has heavily hit the fitness industry and USC is probably impacted too. But I’m still happy that it has survived through the pandemic and I can continue using this amazing service! And I hope it will stay this way many many years :-)

Why is USC rated so badly? Now I know. Tried to cancel the subscription the day before renewal and for some silly quibble in the T&C you can not do it with less than 3 days of notice. Absurd rule and super poor CS. They charged me and kept the money. Scummy behavior.

I love the app and the whole concept. I have been using it for almost 2 years. My usage was very specific, only for bouldering (and occasional trips to swimming polls and such) and still I had better deal then subscribing directly with the gym. Plus, awesome flexibility to cancel subscription or pause it.

The app is great, easy to use and really encouraging to practice my favorite sports and try new ones. The only thing that I do not like is that daily check-in cap that was introduced lately for standard users. I have no motivation now to upgrade my subscription after this daily cap.

As many wrote here, I used to love Urban Sports and used the app quite a lot. Now after the recent change even my online 30 mins meditation class in the morning is counted as a check in and I can’t go anywhere else on this day. It is kind of really over the top… and all these new prices… I see that there are other pretty descent alternatives. I think it is worth to try smth new out, cheaper and more customer friendly.

Great service which I like in general. App is clunky because the search isn't very good, many times it is simpler and faster to use Google. I would like to be able check in more often because the amount of use available to L subscribers was significant reduced. Also the period for free cancellation of a class you booked being 12 hours is a bit extreme. I don't think it's reasonable for most folks. Think of how many times you had 12 hours notice to alter plans versus considerably less?

I was USC's biggest fan and supporter, always told all my friends about it and really loved and used the app and what it had to offer. But now it's really an imposition: 4 other apps that you book with. Sometimes you are “activated” too late and have no chance of getting the good trainers/coveted offers. In addition, the bookings are not clearly summarized anywhere (e.g. integrated back into USC) and if you forget a booking due to all the chaos and poor usability or don't know where to cancel it (not to mention if you get sick) you pay a €13 fine . At €100 a month, it's really cheeky! If I'm in a session and no one comes (which has happened several times) I don't get anything in return! Please definitely change something - I'm trying to be really loyal, but with the current alternative offers it's really difficult...

If you love a missspecified, missold product with an appalingly bad and impersonal customer service, you just found your place! Some partners don't respond at all, and it turns out some of the gyms USC still list on their page have already ended their cooperation with USC. USC doesn't bother to update this information timely. In effect you're paying for something that is just not ther Difficult to book anything in the L plan, usually requires a separate communication with a partner gym, which in some cases takes long time. Moreover, the schedules in the USC app differ substantially from the actual ones. Customer service is really bad, impersonal, takes long time to answer and doesn't address the problem.

Since we love both the sauna and various sports activities, this is a great thing! And the monthly massage with the L subscription is the icing on the cake!! The support is a complete disaster! There are a number of issues that we as a company need to clarify with USC. You can only get in touch with USC using the contact form. There is no expert answer. We have the following problems: 1. Obviously there are different prices. Memberships are cheaper at my computer than at my colleague's. I'm not logged in! Where the really serious differences come from is unclear. For this reason, I don't understand why we as employers pay contributions to USC at all. 2. We are currently paying much more than the USC homepage shows. (more than the most expensive contribution that is displayed to us on various computers) 3. We want to increase the employer share 4. We are a group of companies and I want to add new companies so that I can register new employees. I have already tried to clarify the above points - obviously with a bot. There hasn't been a solution for this for weeks. It's just a disaster and we'll have to part ways with USC if we can't move forward. I should already deposit the ticket in response to a review on another portal. Even after this there was no contact whatsoever. Only bad! If the problem is not resolved within 5 days, we will switch to the competition. Hoping that someone will finally get in touch BY PHONE: Ticket No. 1457745

The significant improvement in the position of company members is annoying! I am a private member and am allowed to do much less, e.g. fewer check-ins per location, fewer check-ins per day, some locations are only available for corporate members in the M package. I think it's really cheeky that I'm so disadvantaged even though I pay more?! As a private member, I pay almost €20 more per month than a corporate member. I think all these differences are disproportionate!

As a former provider at USC, I am now more than disappointed. I have no longer offered courses since 2020, despite information from USC, they were still online. Multiple requests to delete my offer and my account were not answered, direct contact is not possible, you are referred to the partner tool. Today I received an information email saying that data at USC had been hacked, everything that was before 2020. Great, you've been trying to get out of there for 4 years and now you're the victim of a hacking attack? Really not very trustworthy and very annoying from a provider perspective (small provider)! I cannot recommend USC!

One point deducted because unfortunately I think it's a real shame that you can only do one Kura per day in the M. It can't affect so many that it makes such a big difference, right? :( It recently became more expensive for newcomers. Otherwise it's really the best, I don't want to miss it anymore.

The new one check in a day system is such a problem. Previously, one could warm up with a yoga session then head to a HIIT class and finish off with a sauna. I understand the need to ensure profitability but much more preferable would be 31 check-ins a month rather than one a day. Taking two stars off because of this.

"Urban Sports Club Shopping Experience: Unfulfilled Orders, Voucher Issues, and Communication Breakdown" When I became a member of Urban Sports Club M, an 80 Euro voucher was defined for my account by Urban Sports Club. I shopped from Urban Sports Club's online shopping store on February 5 for 87.90 euros. When my orders did not arrive, I sent an email to Urban Sports Club on February 13, and they returned to me as follows: ''Thank you for your message. Unfortunately, we are currently experiencing shipping delays. We ask you to be patient at the moment, but don't worry; your package is on its way to you. If you have any further questions, we are always happy to help!'' I continued to wait. On February 18, I emailed again to ask for information about my order and told them that if it could not be delivered to my address, I could pick it up from the nearest cargo unit. During this time, no notification arrived at my home or in my mailbox. I did not receive a message on my mobile phone or any information via email about my cargo. On February 19, they sent me the following email in reply: ''Thank you for your message! We unfortunately have to inform you that the shipment couldn't be delivered, which is why it's on its way back to us. Since the voucher can be used only once, it isn't valid anymore. If you have any further questions, please let us know, as we are happy to help.'' I emailed once more to clarify that this was not the proper procedure and that I had not received any notification regarding the whereabouts of my shipment. I requested my cargo details, but I never received a response. My voucher was canceled by both of them, and the additional 7.90 euros I spent was not returned to my account. I have been using this app since I joined Urban Sports Club, and I love it but believe that the online shopping page is terrible. You don't need to define gift vouchers that you don't want us to use. This does nothing but make the user unhappy. As someone who loves this application very much, I am unfortunately disappointed after this experience. USC is currently not recommended! Reply by email only received after more than 10 days. I feel I've been robbed by this app. It doesn't really work at all, I was unable to use it due to so much hassle to even book an activity. I am a member since more than two years and I am really happy with Urban Sports Club. At the moment I am mainly training with their live online program and I love the great variety of classes all over Germany and in foreign countries as well. Most of the time the online classes are super good, on time and technically without any problems. Of course occassionally there are minor issues, but usually the USC team is helpful and replies within 1-2 days. And we should all not forget that we live in difficult times, which require a bit more tolerance in all aspects. I am very happy that I can choose from such a varied training program online from home.

The subscribing and unsubscribing process is really clunky. Your subscription only starts on the 1st of the following month. And the notice period is 1 month, which means it cancells on the 1st of the month, FOLLOWING to the next one. So if, i.e., you cancel on the 5th of december (as I did), you subscription only stops on 1st of February. Also, for the "M" plan it says "Unlimited check-ins /month" on the main page. However, what it doesn't say, is that you can't visit the same venue more than 4 times per month. Come on, could you be any less transparent to your customers? Overall, it's only worth it if you do 2/3 different sports activities per week, or fine with changing the venue all the time.

  • 4/5 JimboTSoV 2 years ago on Google
Aside from a few minor issues with my initial account setup, I think the app is good. However there seems to be a discrepancy between the info you receive on the website vs. the app - i.e. I had a pending confirmation from my company for a while which went unnoticed, since I never use the website. The support was very quick to deal with my account and also very friendly and professional. Overall I am quite happy!

Have been a user of USC for over a month now. There is a wide assortment of studios/ venues across Munich and it is easy to view them. However, not all of them are fully integrated into the app, requiring users to look up schedules of the classes at the individual website of the venue. This is cumbersome and hampers usability as well as discovery of relevant classes. However, USC is great if you are looking to engage is a range of fitness activities at a reasonable price.!

I use their service now for a few months and really enjoy the good mix between gyms and other places to go (Squash, bouldering, etc.). Also the option to pause the service is super nice. The only minus is that there are not many gyms accessible in the city center in Munich. So why 2 stars if I like the offering? My main problem is the bad availability of the service team (as others have mentioned before). Unfortunately my new phone died and I was not able to register on my new temporary phone with the account. The account got blocked immediately. So I ended up in the gym with a blocked account and was not able to reach anyone at UrbanSports Club to help me.

App isn't great when it comes to searching for a activity or venue. Can kind of work around it by saving favourite venues and looking that their schedule, but that feels more like a solution to a symptom rather than dealing with the poor UX across the app. Checking in usually works fairly well at least. Don't appreciate the only 1 class per day being introduced at the same time they raised the fees. Do one or the other.

Great to have so many opportunities. I love it and I appreciate it - very much so. However, the app is outdated, the user experience is okayish, nothing more. I have the feeling usc is doing the bare minimum in this regard: enough to keep the customers. But not in a way that makes regular sports and meeting friends easy. Besides: I do see the economical reasons for making people who go to more than a class per day pay more. But couldn’t they at least give those who do the option to take two classes at the same venue?

I have been enjoying urban sports for a while now and it is a great concept that offers a lot of flexibility. However, one really big downside and painpoint is the cancellation policy and window to do so. The window to cancel the class is too short and does not allow much flexibility, which leaves you without options sometimes but to be charged, in some cases. It would be much more convenient to shorten the cancellation policy to 4-6 hours before the class (or at least adjust it from the drop time in the middle of the night or early morning) or at least allow certain quota of free ones per months. Thank you

Unfortunately, I have to express my horror here. Since I had a serious bicycle accident a month ago, I will not be able to exercise for the next 3 months. After writing to the support team with the request that I currently suspend the one-year subscription and add the months to the end of the membership (and of course also pay), this was rejected. Unfortunately, this possibility was not even considered and the chat was simply ended. I don't understand how a company can act so inhumanely in such predicaments, even though there wouldn't have been any loss. Now I have to bear the costs and feel so helpless.

I have been a member of USC for more than two years now and have never had a single bad experience. I startetd with a company membership and continued as a private member since my employer is unfortunately not offering this amazing benefit to its employees. My course bookings run smoothly and I've never had a course simply canceled without a replacement. Thanks to USC, I was able to discover my passions and also book packages at a popular spinning studio - an absolute win-win situation :) The customer support is simply amazing, usually responds within a few hours, if not within minutes, and is always absolutely customer-oriented and helpful. The Prices are totally fine consindering the freedom you get and the impact the offers have on your health both physically and mentally. I dont want to sound dramatic but I can not imagine a life without the membership.
