If you put more than one star, u got news for you, you probably have no idea how coffee should taste like. I literary spot my coffee out and threw the rest after waiting ten minutes two small coffees

DoubleEye is a coffee roaster and breakfast place in the middle of Berlins Schöneberg district. ☕️ When looking for a coffee place we stumbled upon this cafe in the middle of a busy street, although I can’t say much about the service and interior (due the fact that it’s only pick up since the COVID-19 restrictions) the coffee was really good!

Tried two times. They are definitely overrated! Classic burned coffee taste, hard to identify any flavours. Most probably, you won’t get what u ordered. Sorry!

The style is very unique. They also have pastry. I ordere ice latte which is kind of good. Coffee itself is not so outstanding. Milk flavor is quite think which makes the coffee smell good. The staff doesn’t smile so much but very helpful. The service is fast. I accidentally spilled a cup of coffee. They helped me clean and offered a new one.

Freundliche Mitarbeiter, leckerer Kaffee! Der Laden ist beliebt und daher immer sehr voll, wodurch die Bestellungen ein bisschen durcheinander kommen können. Im Laden ist mitunter eine etwas stressigere Atmosphäre. Perfekter Kaffee für to-go.

Kleines und schönes Kaffee im Akazien Kiez. Hier ist es immer recht voll und ein Sitzplatz reine Glückssache. Der Galao schmeckte sehr gut.

Can't go wrong here. Superb value for the quality of coffee they serve. Fast and friendly service and fully abiding by the Coronavirus rules too. Try the pastries and pastel de natas too (the coffee is the highlight but the pastries are pretty good). No place to sit inside but still definitely worth a visit.

A really great little place nestled into its Kiez (neighbourhood) really well. It’s more of a traditional coffee spot (versus the more typical 3rd wave places around Berlin these days), and offers excellent espresso, all kinds of coffees and a selection of sweet snacks. Including vegan options. Service was really friendly, happy to converse in English (and German of course). The vibe is very chill overall and it’s a nice part of Schöneberg to hang out in, a more down to earth and everyday vibe than you get in other, trendier parts of town. I really recommend it.

A perfect place for vegging. The coffee they make is an art. Perfect taste. The staff is extremely friendly. Gives you suggestions if you are too bored to choose a drink. The brewer having won so many awards, this place is always packed. Seating arrangements are only outside. Drop in if you want to have the perfect coffee to begin your day with.

So I’ve visited this coffee shop 4 years ago, while I was traveling to Berlin.I liked it a lot at that time. But few days ago when I was visiting again…The staff with monk head was quite rude. I just wanna took a pic of the shop for recording. The staff suddenly yelled at me.”I don’t wanna be in the picture, huh!” I swear he is not even in my pic.Besides he was wearing a mask. Anyway,I was completey shocked…Would a staff ever yell at customer this way??? I was quite upset and awkward after being yelled in front of many customers there.I did really like this coffee shop 4 years ago.But as what other people criticized…The customer service is so bad now. There’re so many nice coffee shops in Berlin…I probably won’t go back to this one again for good. You could definitely find a better Café nearby.

Used to like this local place to buy coffee. But lately terrible, disorganised service where they let people cut the queue. Takes ages for the most simple order.

Best coffee I’ve ever had - and the atmosphere when drinking it on the sidewalk is something special in the spring weather

Popular coffee spot in Schöneberg. Great coffee, they also offer Swiss Water Method Decaf, and great freshly baked Pistachio croissants... It's worth queueing.

Some of the best coffee in Berlin. Nice for celiacs since they don't have oat milk to contaminate the milk steamers with gluten like every other coffee place in the city. Wish there was more seating, but it's more for enjoying a quick coffee standing at the high bar than settling in for a long time.

Two types of coffee always available for you, and with enough options to choose, it really pays off. The very best thing is how cozy the place feels even if it's really small

The absolute best coffee in town, by far! They make a delicious coffee, no matter what you pick. You can also get beans for home use. Only thing is - it’s mostly to take to go.

I go here from time to time after my yoga session. Best coffee I've had in Berlin yet much cheaper than other cafes I've tried. It is always crowded but managed to find a place to seat.

This is the best place to buy a cup of coffee in the neighborhood. Also you can buy some coffee beans here. Good and fast service. I highly recommend this cafe.

Pastel de nata was soso. But coffee was good

  • 5/5 Harshita T. 2 years ago on Google
I was a bit skeptical but I loved the iced latte so much so that I am having a hard time controlling myself going there everyday and buying one for the hot weather. It's very balanced and chilled. Pastel de nata is also good. Slightly rude service though but I'll let that slide.

Not without a reason this is considered one of the best coffee places (not Café, but a place specifically for drinking coffee...) in Schöneberg if not whole Berlin. Mostly there's a line, which is the down side, but even coffee fineschmeckers say it's worth it... I especially like that fact you can get the Portuguese Galao here...and hot chocolate is also recommended, if you're not up to coffee...

Good coffee, lots of options but really small place, best to take away

  • 5/5 Hannes 3 years ago on Google
Doubleeye is presumably not an insider tip any longer. However, let me just say - as a coffee lover: the roasts and its products, filter, espresso, all sorts of milky coffee cocktails are outstanding. Since covid they have an improvised take away stand and deliver to your home address. So even when in quarantine you do not have to decaffeinate any time soon. Absolutely recommend that place!

Great coffee sunce forever. I remember it from before the Euro. After the transition one espresso cost 0.76 € for many years... (good times 😅)

😠 Outrageous pricing policy, service and management! When you order a steak menu you get a salad (normal price 4.80 €) if you choose a different starter instead, it says on the menu: "We charge 3.00 €). In my opinion, this meant an extra charge of 3 euros. So I ordered one Another starter. The bill w...
