Then they offered us another option for which they asked us to pay 80EUR more and we agreed. No receipt was given. The second night, after midnight, they asked us to pay another 80EUR claiming that the first 80EUR was only for the first night... again NO RECEIPT... at some point we got scared that they will just continue asking us for more and more money as we don't have any receipt, so we called the police. As for the hostel itself - Extremely dirty place with tons of broken stuff. There is indeed a pretty scary dog that wanders around the Hostel. Location is extremely sketchy, dirty and looks dangerous, So think twice before booking in that hostel, there is a reason why they have amongst the lowest ratings. p.s. the staff is not only rude but Aggressive

Horrible experience and place. The neighborhood didnt look safe and streets were full of trash. Hostel - Very dirty, noisy, black mold, on some floors doors dont close or lock. My bedsheets were wrinkled in a way that it was clear someone who turns a lot has already slept there. We were supposed to have 2 bathrooms, one was nonfunctional. There is an extra 2 people room with entrance from one of the rooms. So if you book the whole room for 4 people you might end up with people walking around your room to get to theirs even if you thought you will have privacy. The doors of the rooms are very noisy when they close, if they close. The staff is very shady. They wanted a considerable amount of extra money for our stay even tho they couldnt provide what was booked. No receipt provided for it. The matresses were most of them very old and the springs in mine very uncomfortable for my ribs. Cigarettes and ash, dirty clothes left there. Food leftovers. If all the above can be considered as clean and ready for new people to be accomodated we have very different views on what is 'clean'. Ofcourse no hairdryer at reception, another thing on which the answer was "this is a hostel not a hotel'. No lift, if it matters to you consider you may need to climb some stairs. There was a big bitbul dog walking around freely without any lesh or mouth protection. I love animals but in this situation... and pitbuls dont have a reputation of being friendly. I would not recommend. We had no chocie as we arrived at 10:30pm already very tired and there was nothing free close. But if you read this before your stay think twice. All reviews i read now here are making an accurate picture. It is just bad.

Dirty rooms, not cleaned at all. Same with the bathrooms but moldy walls and ceilings added. We had to wait 30 minutes after arrival (arrived at 2:30 pm, official check-in time is 12 o´clock). Rooms consist of old, unstable beds and remainings of a kitchen (pipes and cables). No smoking signs everywhere, but the room smelled like smoke and mold anyways. This placed should really be closed down and renovated all around for someone to live in. Never ever again!

Das war nur das Durchgangszimmer, durch welches wir immer laufen mussten um in unser Zimmer zu gelangen. In der letzten Ecke war eine kleine Tür die zu unserem versteckten, leider dreckigen, Zimmer führte. Im Bad, was ebenfalls angrenzte lagen Haare im Waschbecken und es gab viele Flecken. Das Zimmer mit dem Bett hatte ein fleckiges Bettlagen, die Gardine hing kaputt runter, das Licht flackerte, das Regal kaputt und viele Spinnweben. Wie gesagt das Personal verstand uns nicht und demnach wurde nichts geändert. Die Nachbarn vom Durchgangszimmer waren extrem laut, man verstand jeden Satz und man musste immer durchlaufen, was die Privatsphäre stört! Am Ende haben wir es nicht mehr ausgehalten und sind mitten in der Nacht aufgebrochen und haben statt drei Tagen nur einen Tag dort verbracht.
