First time visiting this awesome Brunch spot downtown Nashville. It was indeed delicious and wholesome. As a Travel professional I find great restaurants for my clients to visit once in that city of choice. This is one of the best brunch spots ever to visit.

We loved it here! Wonderful food and service. I ordered the prime rib hash and it was delicious, my eggs were cooked perfectly. I also tried the fresh squeezed strawberry lemonade and it was outstanding! My friend ordered the lemon blueberry pancakes, they were fluffy and delicious. We went around noon on a Thursday and were seated right away.

We stopped in this morning after a long night out on the strip. We had a short wait before getting seated. The building is old and historic, with tons of photos throughout of history. It was a nice relaxing place. The food was delicious and was exactly what we were looking for. I’d definitely recommend if you’re looking for a homemade southern breakfast. I’ll be stopping in next time I’m in town.

I was visiting Nashville for few days and wanted to try this place for the chicken and waffles. I love to try them every where I go and these were not satisfying at all. The chicken was basically a breaded chicken finger. The chicken was thin and rubbery and there was so much breading you could barely get to the chicken (pictured). The breading did have a good flavor. The waffle had a good flavor and was cooked ok but then they add burnt bacon into the waffle mix. The burnt bacon distracted from the decent flavor of the waffle. I’m giving this place 4 stars because the people were nice and service was good. They probably do other things on the menu much better. Others seemed happy with the pancakes. I would consider going back for something.

Tried 417 Union, for breakfast... First notice was its historical decor that I particularly really loved as a history buff. The restaurant is huge, with two floors, high roofs, and lots of open space. It was comfortable and relaxing, a nice break from the packed out strip area. Food was extremely good. Some of the better breakfast food I've ever had, and definitely the best breakfast I've had in Nashville. Prices were reasonable, surprisingly cheap for what we ate. Customer service was decent enough, but for a place that wasn't super crowded the sense of urgency seemed to be missing, as basically everything from getting seated, too, the food, to checks, was a very slow process. Go for the fantastic food, prices, and relaxing environment but, make sure you've got plenty of time...

It was a very unique place we loved the atmosphere. Great service and delicious food!! I ordered the Anthony's favorite and a mimosa, and my daughter ordered a breakfast sandwich with chocolate milk! I don't think you would go wrong with anything off their menu!! A+

Stopped in for breakfast, and the service was so courteous, friendly, and attentive. We had the Prime Rib Hash and the 417 Omelet. They were absolutely delicious. And their biscuits with homemade jam are divine.

Stopped in for breakfast. Super cute spot and fantastic service. Food was ok but not great. Very disappointed in the biscuit gravy as it was like water…biscuit gravy is a staple down south like grits and sweet tea. Coffee was luke warm but tasted good. I ordered the strawberries and cream pancakes…they were good and the strawberry preserves they served with it were good. Very pricey at $22 for three pancakes. The prices and quality are indicative of location. It was worth the experience to try once.

Overall, not too bad of a spot. The server and everybody were friendly. The atmosphere was good. I got the chicken and waffles. The chicken could be better. It was a bit bland, dry, and thin (thickness). The waffle was pretty decent, with the bacon in it. I tried the lemon blueberry pancake (pictured). It was okay too. I expected the lemon sauce to be a bit sweeter, where you didn’t need syrup, but the pancakes needed syrup. This plate didn’t come with syrup, so you probably need to ask for some on the side. Bottom line, I think there was just something missing from each dish. Oh yeah, the jam is pretty good. I recommend that with the biscuits!

One of the best breakfasts I have ever had. Pancakes are perfect, pretty much don't need syrup. The eggs and potatoes are tasty, the ham is amazing and the biscuits are unmatched. I challenge anyone to make a better biscuit. Such a good meal!

Stopped in for Breakfast and Brunch. Wait was about 20 minutes or so which was to be expected on a Saturday morning. Service was wonderful. Everyone was kind and personable. We ordered the Bloody Mary, 3 Biscuits, Crispy Chicken Breakfast, and the lemon blueberry pancakes. I would say everything was just “okay” nothing to write home about and for the price I don’t think we will be back. After tip our total was near $80. Liked the vibe and old time feel.

Great service, food, and atmosphere. We had Anthony’s Favorite (classic breakfast), Prime Rib Hash (close 1st), and the Pork Chop Breakfast (winner!). The biscuit and jam made in-house, I would recommend ordering extras. This was our first time eating pork chop for breakfast and sure glad we tried. Everything we ordered was great, but the pork chop breakfast was the winner.

Nice breakfast here. Good food, decent prices. Server was very attentive and affable. Went out of her way to accommodate my wife's allergy. Cool historic theme. No wait at 930am on this Friday. Wear a layer if you get cold... upstairs was chilly. Hearty menu... no light fare like parfait, but that was okay with us today.

This was our first time at 417 Union, and the next time we visit Nashville, we will add it to our regular breakfast place list. We really enjoyed the WW2 atmosphere and music. Everything on the menu tasted fresh, including the eggs that had that "right off the farm" taste to them. I also really enjoyed the fresh coffee and our waitress Olivia, never let my cup get below half on any of our refills. Overall and excellent experience!! I had the Omelet 47 with potatoes, and my wife had the 3 eggs with bacon and fresh fruit.

This was my first time here. I can not say enough about the food and experience. Our server was Mike and he definitely added to the wonderful experience. The food was great and came out fast but did not lack flavor or freshness. We were pleased with our meals. The drinks were good as well. Whether you are a native Nashvillan like myself or someone visiting you should definitely consider eating here.

On an early afternoon on our first visit to Nashville, my friends and I stumbled into 417 Union for some breakfast. We glanced inside and they had a table available (a couple spots nearby asked us to wait). Once seated we were greeted by a friendly waitress who offered up great recommendations, and got us on our way. Then the food came out. It was amazing. The eggs were fresh, the potatoes were crisp, and the biscuits were perfectly fluffy and paired great with the preserves. The restaurant itself has a homey vibe and is very relaxed. The only con is that it only has one restroom. Would recommend!

Delicious breakfast joint. Me and wife went on Easter Sunday worried we wouldn’t get in and about parking downtown. These were not issues plenty of street parking on the weekend and only had to wait 15 min and they were busy. Our waiter Mike was on point didn’t write anything down and didn’t need to, drinks were never half full, food came out fast. I went here to get prime rib hash but they were sold out, however this just let me know how good it must be because our substitute orders did not disappoint. Homemade jelly outstanding, biscuits fresh and light, hashbrowns are worth going for(you Do Not need ketchup on them), wife bagel with fresh cream cheese was awesome!

This place was a great addition to our mini vacation! We had to wait about 20 minutes before seated and we thought that was super quick! Our server couldn't have been better! She did not disappoint! We tried the candied bacon and I highly recommend it! The bloody Mary was flavorful with nice spices. The prime rib hash was good with a nice size portion. The omelet was huge! Would love to try again!

I have been there for breakfast and they have a pretty vast menu. I went for buttermilk pancakes with bacon. It was good, but not the best I have had as it was a big crumbly. I tried the famous biscuit with gravy. The biscuit was delicious and I had them with jam, as the gravy was not much of my taste. Overall it was a good experience though. The staff is very nice and chatty and the decoration is pretty good. I was disappointed that they only had black coffee.

This is a wonderful place for breakfast, a little ways off of printer's alley and right next to the double tree. The atmosphere is great with tons of WW2 era-photos, posters, and pieces of art. I got the big breakfast which came with 2 eggs, 2 biscuits, ham, sausage, and I swapped out potatoes with grits. Everything was great, especially the biscuits which were provided with gravy and their house-made jam which was delicious. Our server Mike was very personable and funny, I very much enjoyed my experience here and will have to come back if I stay in Nashville again

What a wonderful place to get breakfast! The food is so tasty we ended up having breakfast here twice during our 4 day stay in Nashville. Everything is fresh and either homemade or comes from a local farm/producer. Their biscuits are buttery and soft, served with whipped butter, a white gravy, and homemade jam. The jam is so good that I had to buy a jar to bring back to Wisconsin. I highly recommend the breakfast sandwich, or the chicken and waffles. Both were incredible. Will definitely come back next time I'm in Nashville.

The food was great! My hubby loves their strawberry cream pancakes! The candied bacon and mimosa are amazing! The customer service was awesome as well! We felt taken care of! 👏 The only thing I think was off is that there’s only one bathroom, it would be great to add another one and the food was pricey. I would still recommend this place, though! Thanks for having us!

Best breakfast EVER. Prime rib hash is amazing. Biscuits are incredible. And you gotta have the bacon bloody mary. I would eat here every day if I could.

Cute, quaint little old place on Union. Very laid back and personable. Had a 25min wait on a Sunday before 12. Small menu but looks delicious. I had the 2 pancake egg and meat combo. My husband had country fried steak. It was delicious!! He raved about the raspberry jam. Lindsey was a great server. Definitely recommend if you want low key.
