We wondered why there were so many open tables here when ALL other restaurants had a minimum wait of 1 hour. We found out why in less than 30 minutes. Our waitress was terrific, she tried to address the issues but she was not the cook. We ordered chips and queso first. The chips were stale tasting so we asked for a different order. Our wait waitress stated that the chips were made fresh there and she went to bring us a fresh order of them. No, the next order was just as bad. She stopped by and asked about them and we told her they were stale also. She left and came back with a third order of chips, this time they were actually crisp and tasted very good. The queso was not even warm enough to dip a chip into, it was so cold that the chips would break off trying to get the queso out of the bowl, we had to use a spoon to scoop out the queso and put it on the chips. Next came our food. I ordered spicy shrimp and grits, my wife ordered the chicken rice bowl and my buddy order the ribs and rice bowl. As you can see if you look at my Google profile, we travel and eat out at a lot of places. This restaurant is absolutely in the top 5 worst places that we have visited. My shrimp and grits were barley warm (temperature) the shrimp was just like the chips, tasted like they had been cooked days ago and then put in the microwave to warm up and serve, except they were not very warm. The Grits were like eating a cold greasy paste. I really tried to find a good quality in the food, nothing about it was good. I ate 4 of the shrimp and about 6 small bites of the grits. My wife's chicken and rice was flavorless and cold also, same with my buddies ribs and rice, he poured soy sauce over it to help with the flavor. Absolutely the worst $46 I have ever spent on a meal. Again, the waitress was doing all she could to help but she was not the one that did not prepare the food correctly. This place will not last. Contrary to the sign out front, this is NOT quality food. We should have stayed at the Stillery, 2 doors down..

Now Open. Brand new Big Jimmy’s is mostly burgers and flat breads. A lot of the pictures are the previous tenant. Great inviting atmosphere with a straight forward menu with burgers and flat bread pizzas. I had the spicy chicken and onion rings. Great food. Our bartender Cody was awesome too.

My girlfriend and I had a girls trip to Nashville. We tried MANY bars and this was by far our favorite. We ended up here every day. BEST music and by far the best bartenders in town! Great drinks and the vibe is the best. Not a crazy, wild crowded but a good little crowd! Great vibe!

Amazing atmosphere the live off the hook and the food was completely next level my first time in Tennessee definitely closing down my stay on an awesome night with this place

Great service and food! We had a great time and will be back! The atmosphere was calm and easygoing; we definitely recommend this for families with kids. The staff were very nice and helpful! It is relatively new so it's not busy and it's not loud at all. The chicken was perfectly fried. The Nashville Hot chicken was spicy as expected. The mac n cheese had a slight kick to it and was very cheesy. Overall a great place and we highly recommend it is the first place you eat when you are in this area!

A restaurant in the thick of the action downtown where you can still feel like you can have some elbow room away from the crowd as well as catch the staff's attention. Big enough-ish burgers run $10, not terrible for tourist central. No complaints, other than a 53 cent credit card processing fee. But... thank heavens this isn't one of those places that ban paying with cards.

This was our first time eating here and the staff went way above and beyond for us! There was a homeless gentleman in front of the restaurant that was throwing things at bar patrons and our group. One of the workers came over to us and shielded us from the objects and walked us over to a new destination as our chaperone. He said he wanted us to get where we needed safely. He wished us a pleasant evening and went back to take care of the man. I'm sorry I do not know his name, but we was a little taller, skinny, and had a longer beard! True gentlemen work here! 👏 southern hospitality is real

This is our first time here, and we have absolutely loved it. Got welcomed with warm smiles and got served right away, ordered the BBQ chicken flat bread pizza and wow it was amazing. Thank you for a great experience, and the live music has been nothing but excellent, his name is Cullen Wade

Definitely worth a stop in for a bite. When we went it wasn't overly crowded like other bars directly on the strip, but the music was still lively and the food was delicious. Everyone was having a great time jamming along

I don’t get all the good reviews. There’s no drink menu and when I asked for a mojito they gave me something that didn’t even resemble the real thing, it didn’t even have mint leaves. Drinks are expensive, don’t taste good and are watered down. Oh and they give them out in plastic cups 👎🏼

Awesome little bar and grill. Burger was good and the bbq chicken flatbread was also, live music and they introduced me to Belle Meade Bourbon. Very smooth and tasty.

Burgers were good, but I wouldn't say "$14 for a double cheeseburger" good. I guess thats what you get when you're downtown Nashville. Staff was friendly. They had live music for part of the time we were there.

Grabbed burgers here with my friends on a Saturday night. These were awesome burgers. We sat at the bar. Staff were friendly and fun. Service was quick. Place was cool and had good vibes. Curly fries were delicious. The special sauce on the burger was yum. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic restaurant! Was in town for a concert and wanted to avoid the tourists on Broadway. Decided to visit here because of their excellent reviews and immediately knew I made a good decision the second I bit into their double cheeseburger with peanut butter! Melted cheese and peanut butter never tasted so good together! I will definitely eat here again the next time I’m in town. Special shout out to Staci - she was so nice and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great meal!

We came to Nashville from New York and happened to stop by at this great little pub with amazing bluegrass music. The burgers were yummy, the local beer tasted fantastic, the staff was friendly and the music was excellent! We had a great night without the crazy Broadway atmosphere. 😉 Highly recommend!

So we went to all the big bars and the big shows. There's something about someone sitting on stage and strumming a guitar. Hands down the highlight of my trip. Josee and Miles were amazing and the bartenders Casey and Jax were phenomenal. Definitely coming back

As a local, this is my favorite hang out spot in downtown Nashville! Always an incredible experience. The service was impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff who made us feel right at home. The weekend DJ plays the dopest music! There are so many bars downtown, but me and my friends continue to gravitate towards this one. The bartenders were not only skilled at mixing drinks but also had great recommendations and made us feel like regulars immediately. Jax brings this bright energy that is truly contagious! Highly recommend this place!!!

Right off of Broadway, so not as busy for dinner. Food was simple but AMAZING! Staff were all great, nice, funny, helpful for first timers. Drinks were fast and delicious. 10/10 would recommend

I have been to this establishment several times. The food is great. The drinks are great. Excellent service! I recently heard that the bar is going to go with a DJ on saturday nights. I for one will not be back. I come to Nashville to hear LIVE COUNTRY MUSIC! If I want to listen to someone playing records I'll just listen to the radio! Good Luck. Hope this works out for you. I really hate it. I will miss the fun atmosphere, the drinks, the food, but mostly the entertainment. You had a very talented and entertaining band on Saturday nights. Don't understand why you want to change that.

One of the best burgers I have ever had. The bartender claimed to make a mean old fashioned and backed up the claim splendidly.

Walked in for the sign that read $20 buckets but stayed for the fabulous service and great music! Wish I noticed bartenders name..he was PHENOMENAL! Worked back of bar and food orders all by himself and did not skip a beat..all with a smile on his face! The music was GREAT! Again didn’t notice his name but he had a great voice and was very engaged with the crowd. Will definitely come back! Would love to know the name of the musician. We visited on Saturday October 22 mid to late afternoon!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! We went on a Tuesday night, not too crowded. The staff showed these 2 Jersey girls some great Southern hospitality. The entertainment was AMAZING! I wish I had gotten his name. Food & drinks were excellent. Get the BBQ Chicken flatbread…it will change your life. Our bartender was attentive and funny and handsome as hell! If ever in the area, be sure to stop in. I know for a fact I will be back!

The best burger and onion rings I have had in decades! Cooked perfectly and not overdone. Great atmosphere. Very chill. The team is amazing and personable. Very clean and quick service. Tonight 8/7/2022, the live musician was amazing. I wish I caught his name. His tone was like listening to Cat Steven's and Chris Stapleton. I recommend Big Jimmy's 100% you will not be disappointed

Wanted a burger and beer maybe without too much loud music whilst we ate. This place was perfect. Great burger, great spicy chicken burger. Good beer and just a sole musician with a great voice at a eating friendly volume. Then just around the corner and back to full noise!

I left feeling like I wouldn't eat for a week! This is in part because they really fill you up, and in part because how can you follow up food that good with anything else? It just was SO good!! I say food because though it is a chicken place, they do not neglect the rest of the menu! Although you can't go wrong with anything on the menu, if you are wanting recommendations may I suggest: 'not-so-mild' dark chicken Fried okra Pepper jack Mac Chicken was perfectly seasoned and so tender, the Mac was cheesy and had the perfect amount of kick, and the okra, well, was fried okra. Can't go wrong there. I haven't even gotten to the location yet - the MC Chicken Co. Is perfectly situated just steps from Nashville's center of gravity (Broadway), and a block or two off the water, so perfect to walk to and close enough to the action to be a part of it but enough removed so that you don't feel like you can't hear yourself think. All in all worth stopping, worth the price, and impossible to regret!

They have the best poutine in Nashville! The gravy and the cheese curds were amazing. I got all four tacos, and the short rib was my favorite followed by the carnitas. The margarita was not that good but can't wait to try a different cocktail next time.

The menu had very good selection, the location was super convenient and the speed of service was well timed. Definitely recommend the taco I am going back. Do try their fried pickle.
