Amazing trip designed by Ethio Target Tours. We were on a tight budget and Solomon was able to deliver a great package for our Ethiopian trip. We went on the 9 day private photographic tour all arranged through “Ethio Target Tours” There was fantastic and from day one we felt we were in a safe pair of hands. “ETTT” organised us a perfect 15 day tour of the Northern circuit for 5 of us. Organising in advance via emails, Skype etc, meant that every valuable hour was used. Checking Vs other prices (both before the trip and on the ground, during the trip), I know we received a very competitive price. Service was perfect. A 2 week holiday allows 4 days in the Simiens, 3 days Danakil (Erta Ale & lava a must), 3 days driving/touring in-between (Aksum, Yeha, Tigray churches). Proceeded by 2 days ( 1 travel, Addis stopover/visit & 1 Gondar). 3 days to finish (drive to Lalibela, 1 to visit, 1 to fly home). The best service we had and recommended....!

We had only Seven days in Ethiopia and we wanted to see both Lalibela and Danakil Depression. Ethio Target Tours was the only company we found that offered a single tour for both places, and we couldn't have been happier with the trip. Solomon and his team did a great job of organising everything and taking care of us during the whole time. We also got the opportunity to drive from Lalibela to Mekelle instead of flying. Even though it took a whole day, it was worth it as it was an amazing way to see the country!

we had great time in Ethiopia with Ethio Target Tours. They Picks up at the airport drop off at our hotel, the next day starting our magnificent trips to south part of Ethiopia. The organization was preface and always on time.

General the organization of this travel company was the best; we where Ethiopia only 7 day North part, visiting Bahir Dar, Gonder , Simien, and Tigray church’s. The tour operator Solomon he always willing control our travel plans. Drive Jon and Guide Temesgen they are extremely knowledgeable.

When my mother and I decided to spend the better part of September in Ethiopia, my top desire was a trip in the Simiens. I contacted Solomon Ethio Target Tours (based on the deservedly stellar TA reviews). Planning was seamless, and the trek itself was fantastic. We did the 3-day version of the usual 4-day trek, and Solomon arranged an excellent team of cooks, driver, and scout who were wonderful and had everything set up in each campsite well before we arrived. Abel himself was a phenomenal guide: he seemed to have an answer for every possible question (plants, animals, history, culture) - and we asked a lot - and he was very patient with our physical limitations and constant photo stops. He was very easy to talk to (a must when spending so many consecutive hours together. Recommended travel company in Ethiopia.

This was an amazing experience! I organized it all through “Ethio Target Tours” and was happy with them, their drivers and guides were loads of fun! The environments you get to experience on this trip are unlike anything anywhere else in the world. The salt flats are beautiful, depression is insanely cool, and the volcano is a great experience as well (though it was quite smokey when we went so we couldn't really see any lava). We swam in hot springs, slept under the stars, and had a lot of good laughs. It's not too strenuous physically, but a moderate level of fitness will be required to really enjoy the volcano trek (in the dark, over unstable terrain). Please do listen to the guides and follow their directions, as you move through precious and fragile natural ecosystems!

When we encountered these unplanned and uncontrolled situations, Fitsum had a Plan "B" in place. I can honestly say that the weather did not impact my photography opportunities. I recently returned from a five day trip to Omo Valley in Ethiopia. I used ETTT Travel as my tour operator. My guide Bereket and my driver Kalu were very professional. I felt that I was in safe hands and I really appreciate the fact that they accepted my personality as an intrevert and did not ask too personal questions or try to talk all the time as I have experienced before with other drivers/guides during my travels. I felt that they know very well the areas that we visited. Bereket's English, especially vocabulary is excellent. He had the best English skills of the guides that I met in Ethiopia. Both Bereket and Kalu had much attention to detail and always were taking care that I was fine and giving me water. They were very punctual. The only challenge for me was to have a response from the tour operator to arrange the tour. I had to call several times to have a response and I was about to contact some other tour company but I am happy that I insisted and got an answer. Having experienced the poor Internet connection of Ethiopia this is understandable, but some Westerners who do not know about the connection difficulties could possibly contact another tour operator if they do not have a response in a couple of days. I can warmly recommend Ethio Target Tour and Travel, Berket and Kalu's services, it was a best part of my travel in Ethiopia.

In February 2020, my husband and I did the 3-day Simien trek. Everything was perfect! Solomon organized the trek. We never saw him and only talked by email but he was always very professional and available from start to finish. Our guide, Caleb, was perfect. He was helpful and very kind! He ate with us every evening and liked to discuss and share! The cook made very good food, the tents and all the equipment was in good condition. We have been to Dankil Depression and erta ale with Ethio Target Tours. The tour was awesome the guide, the meal, and the drivers were very kind people. They also feed us a lot of information about caltural, geological, and historical background of our trip. The guide made us too safe about our trip also we felt like home. We did a 12 day trip organised by Solomon by car to Bahir Dar - Gondar - Simien Mountains - Lalibela - Danakil. The trip to the North of Ethiopia was excellent organised. In Danakil there was at one point confusion on the organisation from the local facilitator. Nevertheless, we also had a good time in Danakil. The driver, Ephrem did a very well job during all the trip. A further plus was the reasonable price give for the trip. Would give a 4.5 star rating if it would be available.
