This hotel is a great base for access to London via the Docklands railway. The hotel is comfortable, clean and tidy. With good service, and an all you can eat breakfast. We had a good view of London City Airport. Would recommend and would use again.

Breakfast was the highlight which I believe is complimentary with every stay. Its buffet style but they also had waffles that you make yourself using the machine with various sauces as toppings. The room was spacious and clean. Only downside is no fridges in the room which was critical for us. Its really great value for everything you're getting and close to city airport. There is even a small gym. The customer service could be a little warmer, we didn't even get a hello upon arrival but were immediately asked for our names and to pay the deposit. It was not very personable and should be improved.

Good value for money, good parking and close to tube station. Not so sure about the toilet and the bathroom door. Also despite of telling the reception to clean our room it wasn't cleaned so a bit disappointed with that. Breakfast was good and the breakfast staff was very welcoming.

One of the best hotel chains I've stayed at. The whole place was spotless. Staff on arrival were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a really good selection and plenty. The rooms were very clean and brand spanking new bathrooms. Could of done with an extra pillow and bed was a but uncomfortable but you got used to it. I'd happily stay again as your away from the city centre and hustle and bustle.

Good bang for buck. Easy train to everywhere, nice rooms and nice service. Breakfast is good, bad roofplan makes it bit worse if totally full. Nothing to worry and really good for price in London. I surely will come back when in London.

Great service from friendly staff. Good food for breakfast and from the menu. Overall good bang for the buck. Missed 5 star review as the buffet breakfast area is too small for the number of guests and housekeeping needs to be a bit sharper on the minor details e.g: light bulbs not working.

Good place, the rates were equal to doubletree but services were not even close to what doubletree offered. View was beautiful but windows were not cleaned. Limited items in breakfast. No complementary water bottles.

Great little hotel, digital check in worked perfect and the rooms are a modern design. The breakfast is great for the price and its included. Been here several times now will continue to come.

My husband and I checked in June this year. The young man who checked us in (did not get his name) was extremely patient. The service staff at breakfast were also helpful. The breakfast was always the same, nice for some who stayed couple of nights but we stayed for 5 nights, might be good with a few changes. But on my birthday, my husband casually said to a member of service staff (we forgot her name) she asked us to wait for a while and came out with a slice of nice cake. What a gesture, we were so touched. If you do find out who she was ( 6 mths has pasted...) please convey our thanks to her.

The good: The staff were very nice and helpful when we had a maintenance issue. The breakfast was free and delicious. In a quieter neighborhood and not overran by tourists. The bad: room was pretty dirty and needed a thorough cleaning. Location was convenient to the DLR but besides that there wasn’t much around. There aren’t really any good grocery stores or restaurants within walking distance.

The breakfast was very nice although the sausages were disappointing. The location was nice, really enjoyed the view from the room, especially during the night. The staff are very hospitable and go above and beyond to provide a pleasant stay. The queen room was not as described in the photo, it was clear that the pictures were taken at an angle to make the bed and the room look bigger. The bed was a double, would have preferred a queen sized bed, mattress was too tough for me. No fridge in the room, 24/7 bar.

I had a great experience at Hampton by Hilton London Docklands. My brother stayed there for a few days and left some of his belongings behind. I went to pick them up and the staff were super helpful and friendly. They also followed the safety protocols and checked my identity before handing over the items. The hotel looked clean and modern, and the location was convenient for public transport, it is also close to London city airport and stones throw from London Excel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable stay in London.

Ideal location close to travel connections to the city. I chose this location as it was significantly cheaper than city centre alternatives, and it was close to transport connections. A clean, well-appointed hotel similar to other Hampton by Hiltons. Breakfast was fine, just a little busy at the time I chose, but that was to be expected.

I have already used Hampton by Hilton in Warsaw and when I was on a 3-day trip to London with my family while visiting the Warner Bros. Studio in Watford, I did not hesitate for a moment when booking rooms in this hotel. True, it is about half an hour away from the center, but easily accessible by train or Uber. We stayed overnight from October 1, 2023 to October 3, 2023, a total of 3 adults and two children. We got connecting rooms as requested on booking. The service was very nice and helpful, the rooms were impeccably clean. Very comfortable beds and a fold-out sofa for a child. The breakfasts were very tasty, the children were very happy with the waffles, which you can make yourself. There is nothing to complain about. I recommend it to anyone planning a stay in London and I will certainly use your hotel again. Regards, Marcin with his family 🇵🇱👌

Visited the Clean and Tidy Home Show, great location just 10min steady walk to the Excel London. Their website didn't say (or I couldn't find it) but there is a evening dinner menu available from 17:00. Great choice at breakfast, something for everyone and sensibly priced Lattes if wanting a drink after breakfast (included with all you can eat breakfast), Staff friendly and helpful.

The lady at the front desk when we checked out (didn't get her name, but she had long red hair in a ponytail and worked the Friday and Sunday we were there) was VERY helpful and friendly! The service at the hotel breakfast was always great. I appreciate that the breakfast had a variety of options, including yogurt and fruits. We stopped taking the tube to Custom House as there were police everywhere on the way from the station to the hotel. Taking the DLR at Custom House was a much better option. The hotel room didn't have a microwave and fridge unfortunately, but it was nice and clean.

The hotel is conveniently located close to ExCel and also the railway station (with easy access to the center of London). The rooms were neat and clean. All the hotel staff were very professional and friendly. Special shoutout to the folks in the breakfast place - very helpful, professional and excellent service.

Excellent location for LCY airport and also well connected from the centre via the DLR which is a 5 min walk. Room was basic but comfortable, breakfast was OK but would go after 8am as its like a school canteen and busy. The only downside was that I checked in via the Hilton app, chose room 502 and were given 505 so the digital key didn't work and even the physical cards didn't every time we left the room (so had to get it reset every time).

Had a beautiful stay at Hampton by Hilton. The room was very spacious with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious. Will definitely stay here again.

Hotel is clean and good location. However, basic needs you expect aren't present. For instance, you have to pay for water, not even a single small water bottle is provided. You have to request toothpaste..which is another thing you would expect to be in your hotel room. There are other things as well..such as the TV volume locked at 15, the air/ac vent isn't powerful. Small things which prevents the hotel from being a highly recommended one. However, if you just want somewhere clean, okay location with parking. Recommend it.

Loved the room and bathroom as they were really nice and roomy especially being a larger person. The breakfast and dinner selections while nothing special are delicious and plentiful. The ladies and gentlemen at the reception desk were super helpful be it from general knowledge of the area to answering questions at 2am. Only downside for me personally is there isn't alot to do directly around the hotel. Everything is a bit of a walk however it's very close to the rail station and a short walk gets you some great views of the river. Definitely would recommend.

Me and my husband absolutely loved our stay here and would 100% be returning! Really friendly staff on reception! Good parking facilities £15 for 24 hours. Had such a great night sleep in the bed and pillow was just fab! And the breakfast was great! We got down there early just after 7 am and you have so much variety from waffles to a full fry up, cereals they literally had everything there. Cannot wait to return :)

Great price. Really helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable. We had room 717 and the views were stunning. We'd recommend getting a room on the top floor. Breakfast was really good too. There's parking on-site at £15 a day.

Lovely, comfortable room with a great view and excellent shower. Staff were very friendly and location was great. Seems a little far out from everything but actually surprisingly easy to get to everywhere. Right opposite London City airport but couldn't hear the planes from the hotel so no disruption. Bar is open 24hrs and I think you can even order Pizza anytime. Handy if you've had a long trip or body clock is out of whack!

A new and modern hotel, very tidy rooms although ours only had a double bed, a queen would have been good. A nice simple buffet breakfast included, ( no poached or fried eggs, scrambled only) a small bar in reception and a seating area. Easy walk to excel if you are there for an event, a pub just around the corner and a Chinese restaurant over the road. A 5 min walk to a railway station so easy access to the rest of london. Definitely worth a visit if you need to be in that part of town.

Rooms nice and clean, easy check in/out however I didn't sleep much - constant noises through the night I actually googled whether the hotel was haunted. Went for breakfast before work and there was no room available at all - had to leave it or else I'd have been late.

Stayed here for 6 nights to coincide with our anniversary and the London formula E electric racing event at the Excel center. Hotel was really nice, room was lovely, staff were great and it was only a few minutes walk from the Excel center. Hotel is opposite City Airport and there is nothing in the way of nightlife nearby but the location near the Excel was ideal for us. Breakfast was good and the DLR is close by so getting into the city is a breeze. We have really enjoyed our stay here (special mention goes out to the air conditioning in the room!!!) and would definitely stay again.

Stayed here at Hampton for 2 nights. About a 4 minute walk from a DLR station and its proximity to London City airport means you can do some nice plane spotting. The staff at reception are very kind and helpful. The breakfast is tasty and there is a good choice of food. Food is served 24/7, which I never saw in any other hotel! I tried the Green Thai Chicken Curry, probably the best I ever had in my life!! Definitely would return to this hotel.

The ladies who were serving breakfast made our stay really enjoyable. They were so warm and friendly and made us feel welcome. The hotel was lovely and clean and was in a good location.

A modern and beautifully designed hotel a stone’s throw from London City Airport and minutes away from The London Excel Centre offering generous and beautifully furnished rooms with great views and amazing Double shower rooms not mentioning the substantial and delicious breakfast bar. Yummy 😋. Highly recommended. Hope you enjoy your stay and think of me 😅.

We arrived here after our flight was cancelled. From the moment we checked in to our checkout we found the hotel excellent and the staff extremely helpful. The 3 female night staff on duty 11/12/22 were so professional even though they were under pressure with so many bookings due to travel chaos. Highly recommended and I’ll definitely use this hotel again.

I had to make a last minute booking at Hampton by Hilton London Docklands after my fight got cancelled. The hotel was simple, honest, clean, convenient and offered an undeniably beautiful experience. I was particularly impressed by the staff. Their attentiveness and care were second to none. I will definitely be visiting again one day.

It's surprisingly good for the rates it has. Service is express, but efficient. Rooms spacious and well kept. Could be cleaner (curtains need a good wash and carpet needs replacing). Breakfast varied and of good quality. Overall it was good for the price we paid.

Took 50m to get checked in as the receptionist conveniently forgot about me after asking me to take a seat and she would sort it, as I sat directly in her eyeline for the entire duration of the 50m. Very very poor service to the point I would not recommend this to anybody, travelling is already stressful enough and the team here managed to make it more stressful than I've known. Room was not the cleanest, drain in the shower did not work so entire bathroom floor was flooded. Bins weren't replaced with trash bags so were scruffy on the inside. Breakfast is OK. Very busy, not much variety but the waffle maker was a cool choice. All in all, terrible location (unless you're wanting to be near city airport) terrible service, not very clean rooms and one of my worst hotel stays of 2023!

Very good hotel. Nice staff and breakfast had a lot of choices for a great start of the day. Room (2 separate beds) was good clean, although the beds were a bit hard. Location of the hotel is nearby the DLR.

Location exactly what we needed. Car parking £15. Brilliant room (higher floors have great views). Very comprehensive breakfast if a little busy, but not a problem. Very friendly and efficient staff.

Simple but modern and clean hotel. Friendly front desk staff. Breakfast is basic but good. Easy commute to East London. Have stayed here for more than 10 nights already and always happy to come back. Very practical when flying out of London City airport.
