One of the best restaurants I‘ve ever been to, the chef and the staff are really nice and welcoming and the food was just chefs kissed! The prices are also really good considering how much food you get in return. The atmosphere/vibe of the restaurant also is cozy and intimate (btw the cleanest bathroom i’ve ever seen)!! Overall a 12/10 experience and I would definitely recommend to stop by if you get a chance!! Thanks for this great experience!! ps: there are good parking spots 20m down the street

This is the second time we have dined at this bistro, this time for dinner and last time for lunch. We love the setting and atmosphere sitting outside by the street in this beautiful sleepy village. The food is always superb. This time the Parfait de foie de poulet was world class and the creme brûlée was also perfectly done. Among the best I have had. Steak also perfectly cooked. Chef John elevates everything to a level we would happily pay more for. Such an enjoyable meal and very well priced. We will surely be back.

Mirepeisset is lucky to have this fabulous bistro in the village. We were staying in The Wine Merchants House that was only a few minutes walk away. The menu isn’t extensive but has a dish that would suit most people. The servings are generous too and service was prompt and friendly. We sat outside and watched the world go by and enjoyed a very good lunch here before setting off for the airport. Check when it is open as it sometimes closes on Tuesday as well as Monday.

We have never been disappointed at this restaurant in several visits. Despite a humble location in a small village, the food is worth the trip to Mirepeisset. Presentation and taste are both superb. Those visiting on the canal or in surrounding villages should give this gem a try. It’s real value for money.

My second time eating here visiting family. Incredible food. Three impeccable courses, the mushroom veloute and fondanr Chocolat exceptional. Beautiful village with local wild swimming spot. Would definitely return and recommend.

A gem in the beautiful town of Mirepeisette. Very reasonable prices for excellent food. Run by a father and daughter team. This cute restaurant just hits it out of the ballpark. Sophisticated music too - Donald Fagen and Michael Verdick running in the background. A very pleasant surprise.

Exceptional. It is a gem to find an even menu of vegetarian and meat dishes, that changes regularly. In particular, to mention the Yorkshire Puddings !

John is a friend and we live locally. Nevertheless, I truly believe this bistro offers some of the very best food in this area, and at reasonable prices. Thoroughly recommended.

We spent 2 weeks in Mirepeisset in September and ate here several times. It's really great, the menu changes weekly and you can order with complete confidence that it'll taste good and it'll have been made with real care and attention to detail. The service is very friendly, the wine is local and good, and I think it would be hard not to have a good evening here. In short, it's everything you'd hope for from a local restaurant and our only sadness is that we can't have something just like it at the end of our street in England.
