Ginsoy offers delicious Chiense food in Karachi. You can trust and it will pay back your expectations. Starter options are good particularly honey wings and prawns. Card payment accepted here, parking would not be that issue.

Their service is like a snail, they took 1.5 hour to serve my food. Terrible service. I have had the worst meal of my life lately. I had Ginsoy too many times 3-4 years ago, and it was amazing before. This time I went to Ginsoy Shahbaz near Costa Coffee, but it was the worst experience for me. I ordered a starter of dynamite chicken, which they serve me with chicken tempura and dynamite sauce they called it dynamite chicken, but it was too bland and oily. The American chopsuey was awful, and the kung pao chicken had an unpleasant smell and didn't look or feel fresh. Not Recommend Ginsoy Now! Even though they took half an hour to pack my food for the parcel.

Always a lovely experience at Ginsoy. But this was my first time at the Shehbaz Branch. I ordered hot and sour soup, garlic fish, fried rice, and dry chilli chicken. The food was fresh and piping hot. Service was exceptional and very efficient.

Lovely ambience at Ginsoy and the food was good too. We ordered the dynamite shrimp and it was scrumptious! The gentleman who served us gave great recommendations. I gave 4 out of 5 stars only because they had a power outage when we got there and they told us the generators would turn on soon and took our order. However it took about half an hour for the power to return and it was just an uncomfortable experience to sit there in the heat after placing our order and being expected to eat our meal.

Sorry no picture of it we were straving 😄🤭 My mamma was not well so itniiiii garmi mai soup was the best therapy for her and for me too. Stuff was alot and quantity was very good as well. One of my favourite spot for delicious Chinese food, and staff service and cooperation is good too. Prawns are good and red hot soup is excellent and must to have during your visit. They accept multiple credit cards and sometimes they have good discounts.

The place is pristine and in top notch condition which really restores your faith for another visit. With perfect atmosphere, lighting, the cutlery style, presentation and pleasant staff, you can not only expect scrumptious food but a heavenly experience at ginsoy. Coming towards the menu! My favorite starter: Dynamite prawns. Texture is just the perfect balance of tender and crispy and the spices are always marinated in perfectly. They're perfect to snack on while waiting for the real deal. Talking about that, the Schezwan Chicken tops everything. It's tangy and spicy at the same time. Unique and totally mouth watering, I order this everytime along with other items. Other honorable mentions include Dragon Chicken, Hot and sour soup (to die for) and Chicken Chilli Dry. Another important thing! The quality of rice is amazing (for all the nitpickers). So I hope this covers everything you need to know about my favorite Chinese place. Loved everything. Got fried rice, manchurian, sweet and sour chicken and chicken chowmien.

Had good experience. The staff was polite and respectful. But there was 10 mins wait, when u went up there weren't that many people also 2 3 families. I don't know why the made us wait. And we ordered basket of fries which was in their menu but we got our fries in a plate whereas we were expecting it to serviced in a basket. Besides from these two things, everything was just perfect. Good food ambiance everything. Nice place to go with family and friends.

It is definitely challenging to take risk in this pendamic and go out for a dinner but obviously I couldn't resist from having the best Chinese in the town! I was very glad and felt safe to see that the covid situation was very well handled by the staff management which ensured our safety. Even after the lockown , they are peoviding outdoor services so that one can easily have the best chinese! As for the food, we were first served with the crispy and fresh crackers basket and then waited a while for the soup , i had the street style soup and i must say that it was not only pipin hot but really uniquely made for that perfect taste and the extras were served in a plate to add accordingly. The garlic chicken and manchurian along with the rice were really well and so scrumtious to satisfy my craving and taste buds. I definately give 10/10 and reccomend others to must visit the place , they not only provide a safe environment but also best chinese in affordable prices.

Ginsoy has lost its image and reputation. I ordered chicken chili with lots of veggies with fried rice. Chicken was raw not properly cooked and the rice was stale. Such a pathetic experience this time.

Ginsoy started business a few years ago as a decent Chinese fusion restaurant. However, I have found them over the years to go down the typical Pakistani Chinese route. Food has become more saalan like and extremely spicy. Similar to Tao on Kh-e-Roomi. They had one standout dish, Beijing Beef, and now this dish has a strange dark colouring and a rubber like texture. The soup is so spicy that I had to leave the dish after two sips. The prawn dish and the Chicken dish had the same saalan like sauce. And the Dynamite Prawn was a stale mess which appeared that the chef lost the recipe and made soggy fried prawns. Awful food! So if you want Pakistani Chinese saalan then go for Ginsoy but if you want half decent Chinese this is not it. But maybe seeing the way people pack in to Ginsoy every night and all the positive comments before me, who am I to comment. They are certainly raking in the money with their brand of Chinese....

Great location. Very courteous staff but this time food was less than ideal. We ordered Thai soup, hot and sour soup and street chicken soup for starters and Mongolian beef with Garlic chicken along with Vegetable fried rice for main course. Soups were OK - not the usual Ginsoy taste. The main course was a real bummer because the Mongolian beef there was no actual beef but fried coating. Everyone on the table could attest to that. Garlic chicken was decent though. We did inform the manager of this. Hope next time we get better food

Wasn’t always fond of this joint previously but after having lunch today my view has not changed. It is not an authentic Chinese restaurant. Food was bland. Soup too salty. Beef chilly had rubbery beef. Service was less than desired. Had to ask for napkins. Will suggest either try other outlets in case they are better or go somewhere like bamboo or Ming court.

Ruined my mood. Worst experience ever. Service was very bad. Waiter have no sense of personal space and kept running into me stepping on my shoes. When I told him to move away he was very rude and instead of apologising was arguing. It also took 20 mins to get the bill.

Ordered almost PKR 9,ooo worth of food and the serving size for their gravy was a small single bowl quantity. You guys have no respect for your customers, even after confirming on call during their confirmation call with us, I had confirmed if the family size gravy would serve 3-4, but NO IT DOES NOT. Itll be a small bowl the kind you give to your kid. As usual they were under the impression that ill accpet more food in return which i denied because i just wanted a proper apology. The clock is ticking ginsoy. I am waiting for an apology..

I ordered over foodpanda. Ginsoy accepted order time mentioned was 60 minutes and then it took forever. I waited waited waited and still time went up and up. Poor really poor... Kept me waiting for 2 hours. I had to cancel. Your service SUCKS‼️ NEVER ORDER FROM THIS BRANCH ON FOODPANDA

Ginsoy means pure Chinese restaurant. I don't eat Chinese food regularly, but i would like to eat from ginsoy anytime. I had good experience with ginsoy. Though it is crowded but service is good. The food quality was awesome, and the food taste was amazing. I tried prawns, shrimp rice, beef dry chilly and schezwan soup. Very tasty food. Hygienic conditions were very good. Sitting arrangement was also good. Restaurant is expensive. Located on very busy area so there is car parking problem. Payment may be done by cash or card.

The food was good and served hot. The serving size was also very reasonable however, the service could've been better we had to ask for tissues and fish crackers that come alongside soup also waiters were a bit slow

Quality of the food here is terrible apart from the soup. Everything tastes like it had ketchup in it. The fried rice, beef chili, and chicken was all served Cold. Even after they microwaved it it was unevenly heated. Who wants to eat cold fried rice and chicken.

We have booked it for dinner for 15 persons ,personally went there and explained everything about the party and they gave us in written also but when reached there they didn't even have space for another 40 minutes. Our guests were standing and it was embarrassing for us. Another thing is that one of our guests found a fly in glass when he poured the water. Its pathetic. We didn't expect this.. shame on them...

Abysmal service! The head waiter lies about half the spaces and admits the space is too cramped. Poor attitude for the cheap Chinese restaurant interior Ginsoy has. Crammed like sardines in a can. No space tu breathe or move. Last time had a tiny table with three people and there wasn't room enough to keep the food, plates or sit. This time, they simply lied about a twelve person table being used by 4 because they couldn't be bothered to separate it. Prefer to make people keep waiting 20 mins for slightly above mediocre (by Karachi standards) food because it builds brand image to appear busier than you are and because they're lazy!

Being a regular visitor of Gensoy, I must say that they are marvelous in all respects. The ambiance, service, and quality, quantity and freshness of food is exemplary. Indeed its the best Chinese food restaurant in town. Thanks Gensoy and keep it up!

Food was decent. Chilli chicken came without rice! Never seen that before.! Delivery was 30 minutes late on an already long 45 minute order. So an hour and fifteen to get food! Was not good enough to wait that long !

Food is way too spicy. Fried prawn balls are really good. Crispy Beijing beef is good in taste except the spice levels are way too high. Kung Pao Chicken is tasty yet spicy. Single serving for each item is more than enough for 3 adults.

The clean plates freshly washed are brought to the restaurant in a trolly passing the lane in the back where the gutters are overflowing.

The quality of food has decline sooo dramatically over few years that even their simplest dish in their menu; soup is not good anymore.... firstly whenever I have ordered single soup from them they always takes more than 90mins.... last night they took 2 hours for just a soup.... previously we ordered they put a whole bowl of salt in the soup... whenever we ordered from them always got disappointed... even complained to their manager ... but I guess ginsoy is not in a mood to improve their quality at all!!!!!!! Worst food worst service worst management I think ginsoy should be closed now!!

Well for one they shouldn't compromise on the chicken in a chicken corn soup. The rest food is good. Ask them to avoid putting in too much chillies in food

It was really a pleasant experience to sit and eat in this Chinese restaurant. The ambiance, service and food was really good. They have a large variety of soups, starters and chinese main course dishes and beverages listed in an exquisitely designed menu. There are two, single and family size options available in the menu for every dish. Beware that the big portion of soup is enough for 5 -6 persons. The hot and sour soup(red) that we ordered was exceptionally tasty. The fried rice dish was also good. The dragon chicken was a bit sour and the texture of chicken meat was very soft that I didn't like. Overall a great experience and I will certainly visit this place again and would love to try other dishes in the menu. Recommended!

Assalam o Alekum!.. Words is not enough to define my love with "GINSOY". I just say quality makes any brand perfect. I would like to say just a sentence or two the relaxed atmosphere and the small staff that welcomes us with a smile is commendable. All in All #Ginsoy is the name of trust. :)

Unfortunately not a single element clicked for me n my family during our visit. Starting with stale fish crackers, chicken corn soup had less salt n we had to ask for salt separately to make up the deficiency. The dynamite prawns had hard crusts (seemed refried). The fried rice were tasteless and the sweet n sour chicken n american chopsuey were overloaded with tomota ketchup like puree. The mint lemonade wasnt as sweet as required n had extra minty tinge. To top it all off, the sounds of kitchen staff shouting n loudly talking to each other was enough to disturb the customers trying to enjoy a peaceful time with the family.

Ginsoy taste is awesome as before but this branch was much croudy and noisy on the rainy evening I visited there. Also after rain flooded water was stopped at the entrance when we depart. And one of a LOOKING educated guest of ginsoy parked his car in front of gate so only he can enter without wetting his shoes doesn't care of someone else. And reception counter of ginsoy was not able to say to him to move his car from main entrance .

I actually lovee that restaurant for its food and services. But this time they disappointed me a lot. Services were not good enough. My drinks were served quite late after my dinner was finished. Reminded them thrice for it but they forgot even though they were ready and kept at counter. Prolly because of many people were dinning. Food was great!!

The prices are little bit high and the different between half dish and full dish are to big costumer service was not at high level we had to wait for waitress becouse restaurant was full.
