A fabulous course and club. Even after all the rain we’ve had, a Boxing Day round had optional preferred lies (only needed to lift and clean twice during the round) and no fairway mats. Tees were all winter tees, but an even mix of grass and Astro tees. No winter greens, playing on regular greens still. Speaks volumes to the investment and care of the greens team to keep the course in such great condition even after all of the wet weather we’d had in the run up to Christmas. Would recommend to anybody.

A challenging course, well kept. The female pro is doing a great job. Was really disappointed with the food and service on the day.

Great golf course can not say enough good things about this place. Views and surroundings are awesome and the course is aways in pristine conditions. One of the best around!

Played the course after a fortnight of heavy rain and the round was interrupted by a torrential downpour which lasted about 20 minutes, flooding the greens. This quickly receded and within 30 minutes the greens had cleared thanks to their excellent drainage system. A pleasure to play, rain notwithstanding, and a good pint in the clubhouse afterwards.

Very good pro shop. Lots of stock and great products at competitive prices. Very helpful staff. I found the course very difficult. I wasn't playing well which didn't help. If you were off the fairway you will struggle to find your ball and really struggle to get it back in play if you do find it. No problem if you keep the ball in play. The greens where hard and therefore very difficult to keep your ball on the green. A lot of the fairways where also bare with patches with no grass. I'm guessing this will improve in a few weeks but not good today.

Gorgeous views and good test. Little bit costly on green fee prices especially after 4pm(still £35). Great seating area outside with superb views but bar shuts at 8pm(Tuesday but was summer)also lots finishing after us. Wasted if ask me!

Fantastic golf course. A real test indeed! As everyone says , greens are lightning fast!

Very well kept course and a real challenge. The greens were quick and you need to be an expert putter to score low. Club house is a mix of traditional and modern with a lovely patio to enjoy the views over the valley. Will return as thoroughly enjoyed the round.

We held our Golden Wedding anniversary party here in September. It is a perfect venue - the views from the new terrace are stunning, the layout of the room and lounge were immaculate. Staff are extremely efficient, polite and very helpful. From start to finish the help and support of Cat, the events manager was amazing and we knew that she would do all she could to make it a great day for us and our guests, which it certainly was.

Attended for a 70th birthday with ~30 people, had a delicious 3 course dinner of arancini, chicken with vegetables and sticky toffee pudding. All were delicious. Red and white wine on table also very high qualitg. Private room with view out over course. Big car park. Nice atmosphere and attentive staff. Really enjoyed it and would recommend for a special occasion large group booking. Golf course looked good, which I hope to come back and play

Went here for a golf charity game. The course was unreal and the facilities were 2nd to none, would highly recommend this golf course

This is a superb course. The greens were absolute rapid.The course in fantastic condition. It is visually beautiful and has incredible views down the Aire valley. We were visitors and were welcomed as if we were members. (I've played here twice now and I have received the same welcome twice) We stayed behind for a full English and refreshments and both the food and service were immense. This is a brilliant course. I would pay more than the £40 I paid to play it. I'm a local in the area and can honestly say I have no idea why this course is not mentioned more often along side Alwoodley and Moortown. It should be. It is very reasonably priced in comparison to the other top courses in the area. The warm welcome is genuine and the club is not in anyway stuffy. A brilliant experience

One of my favourite Yorkshire courses. Very scenic with really friendly staff from the pro shop to the bar. The food is always good with a great selection of beers and ale.
