Very authentic Thai food! Use of fresh herbs to make them taste better! Tom Yum Soup is very flavourful and reduced,maybe a tiny bit of too salty. Deep fried Prawns are excellent, batter is perfectly light, matching the sweet and sour dip 100% Beef curry is yum, can down a few bowl of rice with it. Love the bamboo root! Nice restaurant decoration and vibe! Friendly staff!

Food was absolutely amazing, variety on the menu was also good, would recommend. Unfortunately the waiter gave off the impression that he was very uninterested, and even looked like he was being inconvenienced when we came in (the only customers). He also made inappropriate jokes, which takes the review down to a 4.

Great little place. Staff were warm, welcoming and friendly. Food was great, not a complaint in sight. We asked for our mains to be served to our tastes (thai spicy) and they catered accordingly. Would definitely recommend.

Me and my partner went for dinner last week, and it was incredible, very lovely people and the food was so fresh and hot, amazing dishes. I had the tempura prawns and I dream of them so delicious!! Really nice little place definitely recommend and we'll be going back (for those prawns) 😁

Sorry but I beg to differ. Growing up with authentic Thai food at my finger tip, I cannot say that the foods served here is nice. I don’t expect original taste but please don’t ruin the quality of food. Neither the Tom yum goong nor pad Thai (plain sweetness) met the basic standard.

The food was delicious. The service we received was just enough, just right. Only thing that let this restaurant down was the toilet facility and the stairway down to them were not clean. I have starred 3 for this reason as it reduced my experience of the restaurant. For the food though they should have had a 5.

I've eaten in many a Thai restaurant both in the UK and overseas but this is the best that I have experienced in all of my years. Tasty, value and great customer service. I would travel to come here again!

One of the best restaurants in Birkenhead, and has been for many years now. Serves quality Thai food, with an extensive menu that doesn't compromise on quality. We will be back .

We went here on a whim after a beautiful full moon ceremony, sawasdee couldn't of been a better choice! The food was beautiful, service with a smile and the food was piping hot and quickly served. From the minute we walked in we was greeted with a smile and given a table, drinks and food order taken promptly and the food arrived quick and was hot and delicious! The staff are really nice and it has a nice authentic feel to it & very reasonably priced! We will defiantly be back, thanks for finishing our night off perfectly 💛

Called in for an impromptu Saturday dinner with friends in December 2023 when visiting the The Swinging Arm. First time eating here. The place was clean and nicely laid out, and although quite busy there seemed a good amount of space between people and it wasn’t too loud. Staff were polite and we didn’t feel rushed at any point. The menu offered a really good choice and there were several things each of us would have had. I opted for the spare ribs to start with (simply delicious) and then the Pad Thai king prawn (a great choice). Portion sizes were good, ingredients were first class, and it was very well cooked. Also a few Tiger and Singha beers. The overall highlight was the quality of the food - all the meals were large portions and excellent flavours – not often you get quantity and quality. It seemed extremely good value for money. Would highly recommend, and we will definitely visit again.

Lovely place and staff, amazing food and super fast service, you can be in & out in 20/30 mins, with a starter & main course done! The Ped Makham with rice noodles is my favourite, with Thai prawn crackers with sweet chilli sauce to start (keep some for the main)

Food is excellent and very reasonably priced. We went for a Xmas meal and it was pleasant though no Xmas crackers. Staff was friendly but very keen to clear the table. I would warmly recommend it. Loved it. Ps. Take the time to go through the very extensive menu.

We ordered the Panang curry and pad Thai. It was amazing and super quick. Would have preferred to have the curry served in a bowl and maybe slightly bigger portions but great food though !

We’ve been getting takeout food for a number of years from here and the food is consistently amazing. The Sawasdee ribs are incredible every single time. The pineapple curry Kang Suprarod is so delicious. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. Everything we’ve tried is just always so tasty and fresh. 10/10

I hoped there would be gluten free options on the off chance and there was. The food was amazing and service was great. Great tasting Thai food, really hit the Thai food craving spot I’d had. Definitely recommended and the staff are lovely. Will be back soon! Covid distancing excellent too but did not detract from enjoyment of the food.

This site is my preferable site. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to that place. Whenever I want to go to a delicious supper, this is the place that comes immediately to my head. Great and food and a rich cuisine.professional crew, and nice atmosphere. Also important, the bill is decent. I recommend this spot with no doubt.

Best Thai food on the Wirral. Incredibly friendly staff. Very reasonable prices. I recommend this restaurant to everyone who asks for somewhere to eat out or have takeaway.
