We were very happy with the quality of the food and the service. Unique combination of brilliant IPA ALE and south asain food. We will come back again, highly recommended, no issue with parking as well.

Pubs of the Victorian era, I love β€˜em. What I love most of all is a Victorian pub with a modern, artistically licensed interior servicing exciting food with down to earth service. This is crux of what The Pig & Tail is. It has a relaxed service, which may not be as attentive as other restaurants. There is undeniable feeling of calmness and warmth within its many walls. The comfy seating, bright and interesting artistic accoutrements will capture you and your friends interest even if the conversation doesn’t.

Nice pub, friendly staff and a great selection of drinks. 35 of us went there from work and had a great evening. Jewellery Quarter has some great pubs and this is one of them! Well worth a visit

Fantastic wee place - used to live around the corner from this when it was empty and thought it would have been "developed" but this is a great little victorian(?) pub that I would gladly spend many an evening in. Great music (mix of jazz and classic soul amongst others) great beers including some very local ones (apparently cocktails are worth a go too) and even better food. Simple yet different combinations with top quality ingredients. The staff (owners?) really seem to care too. Great experience all round.

Great place for Covid friendly dining. Outdoor beer garden, covered from the elements above and sheltered on all 4 sides. Tables for 2, 4, 6 persons. Probably max 20 people out there. Temperature taken with track & QR scanning on arrival. Menus via QR code, order via the Web page (you have to register, takes a couple of seconds) and your food is delivered to your table. Drinks ordered the same way but paid on delivery with a card machine. This is because the drinks are from the pub, and the food is from the Vendor, Lisa & Pan's Kitchen (Thai) which resides on Caroline Street normally but have teamed up with the Pig & Tail. Friendly welcoming service, great food, great prices. Definitely recommend.

A friendly atmosphere with helpful staff and local patrons who make it feel welcoming. It was my first time and I stayed longer than I thought I would. I had a drink and some fried cauliflower and then decided to stay for dinner.seeing the food being served out of the kitchen then inspired me to have a hamburger. The quality of the meat and flavour were delicious, I think the chefs make a fine effort with the presentation and it shows in the taste buds too !

Absolutely lovely place. Ideal for small groups or a couples night out. Reminds me very much of the Architect in Cambridge. Prices in keeping with the area. Friendly environment. Pretty internal setting with vaulted decorative windows. It also had Stella unfiltered on tap which was a nice change. Honestly give it a go.

Pleasant small pub 10 mins walk from Colmore Row. Great selection of cast and keg ales and lagers. Nice alternative to the city centre bars.

Great gem in the JQ. I've been coming here since it opened back in 2015. Good quality food, friendly atmosphere. One of my favourite bars in town... its certainly worth a visit ☺️

Interior of the pub is very nice and welcoming and the staff have always been very friendly and helpful to me. I always come here when I come down to Birmingham for my tattoo and I’ve never been disappointed with any of the small plates I order. This place is perfect for those who are looking for a light meal during the day.

Brand new barmaid.. first day.. doing amazingly well.. her and the manager worked well, relaxed but professional approach.. good banter amid the 1st day nerves (she'll do well πŸ˜‰). Comfortable characterful old pub.. reasonable choice of beers, interesting menu, lots of choice.. great service.. reasonable prices. Would we go again? Yes of course, in fact we did.. the very next evening.. but sadly, being a Sunday we found it to be closed.πŸ˜”.. untill the next time we're in Birmingham!! πŸ˜€πŸ€ž

A very pleasant looking pub with friendly staff and a good value for money menu. The secret garden is a little gem. Will definitely return next time we are in the jewelry quarter. 10/10

First time in The Pig and Tail it's a must go to. Fab little spot with amazing food. The Chocolate brownies were to die for. The service we received was amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed even though we booked last minute. Good dog friendly in spot.

Went there for the valentines day special and i have so much to say about how great our experience was so buckle up: -the food was delicious, fresh ingredients were used, seasoned perfectly (and i m very picky about that) -the pricing is extremely reasonable for what we got -so much love is put in the place, from the nice music, to the overall cleanliness of the place. It s the little details like the lemon in the water for ex -the staff is wonderful, friendly and really kind. Made us feel welcomed right away -they are providing an incredible community service overall by offering locals cool socials at a great price whether it s a movie night and a warm meal or burger and beer for a tenner. I must say we plan on coming back and becoming regulars. If you visited prior, please come back, this is miles away from my initial experience there just after covid. I dont know if they had a change of ownership, or new staff but please Pig and Tail keep whatever you are doing ❀️❀️ Ps sorry to the lovely staff i forgot your name but you are a superstar.

Nice small friendly pub. Food are nice as well, reasonable price with reasonable portion. We ordered a curry chips, wings and burger. All taste good! Obviously, you won't expect the food to be exceptional as you are in a pub anyway, But I would say the quality is definitely above average. Cocktail is good too. I live nearby so I will definitely visit again.

Sorry for coming in late. Nice looking pub. Great staff, comfy chairs. Stout is excellent.

Speaking from a beer perspective, a bit overpriced. That said the Wiper stout I had was very good, Β£3.10 for 1/2 is a bit too much though .Decent choice and well set up premises
