We went for the cocktail making experience and had the best time! Tim was great, explaining the history of drinks and putting up with us drunken lot! Nice venue upstairs.

Offering 2 cocktails for £10 when we visited available until 8pm and after 11pm. Friendly staff.

Another of Birmingham's proper pubs, this one with a bit more of an edgy vibe. Good choice of ales and beers. Occasional live music venue too so always plenty going on and great location near New Street.

Use this place a lot when going to the Academy. Beer was always a bit ropey but this time it was spot on! New management? Friendly staff, good beer, music and plenty of punters. Excellent!!!

Seen the most amazing band here called spotless mind. Luke round the front man was at his best in such a perfect environment for talented souls

Nice cosy music venue. Great beer selection in the main bar. Staff are always lovely.

Bob the barman couldn’t have been more welcoming. We were stood outside an hour before they opened and he came to the door and asked if we were ok, they didn’t serve the beer we wanted but pointed us in the right direction. On the back of this we decided to come back for the happy hour cocktails, what a find. Great staff, great drinks, great ambience. We will be back. Thank you Bob!!

We went for the cocktail master class. Tim was great, he kept us entertained as we learnt this history behind the cocktails. We had an array of 6 cocktails which were all lovely, and then then the chance to make our own cocktails aswell. Highly recommend!

Beautiful pub in the centre of Birmingham. Great small venue room upstairs. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit.

Really lovely, cosy environment with awesome decor! Super friendly and approachable staff and very good cocktails - went in on a whim and will definitely be back!!!

Another interesting venue. The drinks were reasonably priced. Good value for money. Good variety. Staff seemed friendly and attentive. Food is none existent but the option for takeaway and eating on premises is a bonus. Poor points. The place could use Aircon and a touch better lighting. Bar that good place

Good old fashioned pub feel with the modern delight of craft beers and cocktails. Highly recommend a visit.

This place gives you the most amazing experience ever! The service is extraordinary and the atmosphere slays! But especially the staff. Igor was an absolute star. He gave the most impeccable service while being funny and entertaining. I would always come here because you never feel out of your depth but welcomed and free! P. S shout to the manager bob who always makes you feel like the most special person that ever lived! He is wonderful and should really have his own bar!

Only been here a handful of times, but each time Bob gives great service, really makes the bar feel alive and approachable. I work in a pub and recognise a great barman when I see one! Great Pub, would recommend.

I honestly cannot emphasize enough how great the customer service is. Huge shout-out to Bob, he's a true gem, I said I would write a review and here I am. Bob was such an amazing person, incredible service, funny, efficient and attentive, I cannot thank him enough for how kind he was. Honestly best staff member ever, thank you Bob you were a star!

Had the best time at The Vic. Had a beautiful cocktail and shots made by Joey and felt so welcome the minute we walked in there. Thankyou for making our night Joey. You're a star!

Absolutely amazing. Really chill place, amazing service. Played a couple of gigs here and the pub has always been welcoming. One of the bar staff, Bob, is really talkative yet efficient with his service.

Came for the quiz night which is always a great night out! All of the bar staff were incredibly friendly and attentive especially Bob who explained the cocktails to us and made the best cosmos we’ve ever had!

What a cool place. Great cocktails and awesome vibe. We stopped off before a visit to the electric and very glad we did

One of my favourite pubs in Birmingham city centre. It's always a chilled vibe and the staff are very friendly. The variety of drinks is wide, and no more expensive than anywhere near by. They have some deals on cocktails too which my partner was very happy about.

A very pleasant traditional English pub. No frills or distractions. Just good solid beer selection from local breweries and further afield. Excellent caring, knowledgeable staff with a passion for quality products and services.

Fantastic looking pub. Really great beer on tap as well. Definitely going back.

A great theatre in the heart of the city. Parking isn't great for the venue. However there are hotels nearby. We stayed at the Malmaison which was only a 4 minute walk and there was a large carpark next to it. Shows are always very good quality too.

Nice to see a homage on the cocktail menu to the former glories that were the Jekyll and Hyde and the Island bar. Sad they are gone, the Bitter and Twisted venues are always my first option over larger national chains

Decent venue, I like it. The lager was better downstairs than upstairs though, maybe there's not enough pulled off? Cracking boozer and had a top night. Will be going back.

Great pub, good choice of beers etc. Good live music.

Great pub with live music nights upstairs, friendly bar staff, Gluten free beers available, nice natural draft cider (I forget the name of!)

Great old pub in the city centre serving a good selection of ale. Good cocktails too and runs plenty of entertainment

Very interesting pub. Friendly staff, good selection of drinks and lots of atmosphere

Cosy with a lot of character, staff very quick to serve, generally a great little pub

Really disappointed...went in for a drink, which was OK although, due to driving, I wanted a diet coke or coke zero and they only had diet Pepsi- poor choice! Even the bar staff apologised! Then we sat for a drink whilst the quiz master set up for the weekly quiz. Nothing wrong with that, we love a quiz! However, it was very, very loud and every other word was swearing over the microphone to test sound levels. I'm not easily offended but this was too much. We left our drinks and went elsewhere. A real shame 😔

Bit loud and packed. Beer deer but great atmosphere. Sat night had live band on

Great pub, very friendly and helpful. I'd had enough beer by the time we arrived and fancied a short, the barman suggested an Old Fashioned, which I'd never tied before, but was delicious. He even asked later if I'd enjoyed it.

Good old fashioned pub. Usually has live music on a Friday. Great range of beers, lagers, craft beers etc. Friendly staff
