Good food and great drinks! Definitely going back as the prices was good for the amount of food and fancy drinks. They also have a excellent view of the river. Definitely will visit again if I'm travelling back to Birmingham. Love from Norway!

6 of us went on Saturday evening for some food whilst out celebrating a friends birthday. We were seated quickly and our order was taken promptly, but after that it rapidly went downhill. 5 drinks arrived, but mine did not. I spoke to 3 people about my drink and waited patiently as they all told me it was en route. An hour later it arrived. AN HOUR! All food had arrived before my drink did! We’d ordered water for the table too and if that had arrived I’d maybe have been more chill, but it didn’t. So on a boiling day, when my mouth was like Gandhi’s flip flop, I needed that drink. There were no issues with the drinks after that and we enjoyed what we ordered throughout the night. The cherry bomb was an unexpected delight. So the food was a disaster. The nachos were served without cheese. They were sent back and cheese was added, but barely any. Isn’t that cheese pull the biggest pleasure when eating nachos? Not at P&P. The tacos were fridge cold. Not cool. Not barely warm. Fridge cold! The halloumi was like it was cooked an hour ago and left on the side. The mac & cheese was embarrassing. I’m sure we’d all expect mac & cheese to be, well, cheesy. There was barely any cheese sauce on the pasta and it was dominated by the chorizo making it greasy. The only dish Luke and I didn’t have an issue with was our chicken sliders. They weren’t the best, but they were hot and had a decent flavour. We did complain and had our dishes promptly replaced and items removed from menu, so they handled it well, but there shouldn’t be so many issues with one order. We aren’t averse to chains per se, but this kind of experience reminds us why we love independents who value their customers and care about what they do. 💰we ended up paying about £30 pp, but that was with my long lost drink removed and several food items removed.

Nice, fun afternoon brunch! Self making drinks- mixture of juices to add to the prosecco. The staff were very welcoming and on hand if anymore drinks were needed. Food was good and didn't feel rushed or pressured to leave. Nice back ground music and would definitely return.

Nice pub in the heart of Birmingham. Medium price. Wide variety of cocktails including mocktails too. Good beers. Has a terrace outside with heaters for winter and 2 floors inside. Ideal place for friends and couples. They accept large groups if booked on advance. Clean toilets. They respect COVID measures. Friendly staff.

Amazing cocktails! I won a free mojito also! Amazing atmosphere and the view to the canal is top notch. Dry ice cocktails are so satisfying to see. Service is outstanding and you get your drinks fast! (20/10/21 1600hrs)

Thank you so much P&P. Reserved an area for our singles night. The staff were so warm and friendly. They called ahead to check if we needed anything and even offered to extend our booking. For the deposit price we were offered ample drinks and even had some left over. During the night the staff were so friendly and always checking to see if we needed anything. You don't get service like this in London, this is where London Venues could learn so much! Thank you to you and your whole team!

Had a late lunch here on Saturday afternoon. Ordered online from the table using the QR code and website. Very simple and straightforward to use. Nice and relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. Wife and I had the Club Sandwich and teenage son had the Pepperoni Flamkuche. Good selection of drinks to choose from.

The fish and chips were perfection, are they double cooked chips? Because there so tasty! I had the Tacos and could have eaten another round, they are definitely a light bite! But so tasty! Can't wait to come back in the evening and try the other items on the menu.

Lovely couple of hrs spent here after my charity walk for diabetes. Food was lush and the atmosphere was really chilled. We were served mainly by Hallie who was so friendly. She made sure we were looked after so well. The rest of the staff were lovely too!

Went there a couple of times for lunch/ happy hour. Lovely atmosphere and great seating area. Food was quite nice whilst drinks are relatively average. On my last visit, the waitress was a bit rude/ indifferent at one point. They do 2 for 1 for some drinks during happy hour so it’s quite a nice experience overall.

This was my first time visiting. We didn't have a booking, but they still helped us out. Sat me and Dad down at a nice table over looking the canal. All the staff were polite and friendly. The place seems very clean and looked after. The food was well presented and tasted great. I had the beef burger with extra onion rings. There is a good choice of food here. It was lunchtime on a Saturday when we visited. It was quite busy. I would definitely want to visit again. Truly enjoyed the whole experience.

We had a great experience here, thanks to Zee. One suggestion, when coming in the Broad Street entrance a sign or something to tell us to go to the other end to get seated would be great. Even though it was quiet and we had a booking, we were waiting for a while right beside the bar, where two staff didn’t acknowledge us. We had to interrupt them to ask where to go and they sent us to the other door. Overall the food and drinks were amazing and the interiors seating really lovely. Thank you!

The expresso martini is nice. The canal view is nice. The staff is quite nice. The music is nice but a little bit loud. It is a little bit over crowd inside. The outdoor area is cosy. *Credit card payment available*

Really excellent experience from start to finish. It was very easy to book through the website, I was able to request some additional time and at short notice add an extra guest. There was great communication in advance about my upcoming booking. Our experience on the day was first class, the team were attentive and polite. My friend and I had a really enjoyable meal and time at your restaurant this evening. We ordered fish and chips and a cheese burger with drinks, promptly served and delicious. We were served by Lucinda, who was very friendly and helpful in taking our orders for drinks and our meals, and attentive throughout. The restaurant was inviting, comfortable and warm inside. Dropped in for a drink and to watch the Women's Euro 2022 final on TV; stayed on for a meal. Lovely location and the staff were all great. Particular 'shout out' for the young lady ( sorry I don't know her name) who served our meal - very friendly, attentive and polite and a nice personality. All staff were great though and an asset to the pub. An excellent dining experience- plus England won the football !
