Been here a few times and loved the food every time! Tasty and not too spicy. Great variety for vegetarian meals (pictured is the vegetarian platter). Veg kofta curry is a great main would recommend. Only thing I’d say is maybe more staff when it’s busy as it’s hard to get the waitress’ attention. Would definitely visit again and again, happy to support a local business

Very cosy place in the heart of Jewellery Quarter, great atmosphere with even greater food, staff and owner are very nice and kind. It is slightly on pricier side, but no regrets on the food, especially when its one of a kind Nepalese kitchen around. Definitely would recommend to anyone to try at least once. Menu has a lot of variety, so anyone should find something to like.

Stop, wait a minute, think, reflect. “Did I just experience something off the charts?” My mind was blown following a visit to Jojolapa Nepalese Bar & Restaurant. The restaurant looks diminutive as you pass it by on the street. Enter and behold, this is no ordinary restaurant. JoJolapa’s interior queues matches its culinary intentions. It is best described as fusion: Nepalese meets Indian meets British hipster. The light pours in from the skylight giving the comfortable, lounging dining area an inviting warmth. The service is exceptional, the concept of JoJolapa, it’s dishes and its soul are explained in detail. I recommend letting them guide you. Go on, try dishes that will open your chakra to a whole new world of food. The pick of the dishes, for me, was the soya tikka biriyani. If I was to describe it better, it is a Nan topped rice and (Meat, vegetables, vegan meat) pie delivered with a side of curry sauce. What an amazing dish; I had to ask the serving staff if they’d accidentally served me actual chicken given how convincing the soya chicken was. What an amazing place, the most exciting culinary experience I’ve had for a while.

Great location. Ambience and music is brilliant. Was warm inside. Staff very friendly and kind. Food was great, lots of veggie options, momos were brilliant and chilli paneer. The only reason for a four star is, first restaurant ever been to with no dessert menu and payment was cash or bank transfer only. Will however definitely be going back

Super friendly service from Anya, we sat just inside and the front was open so we had a nice view. Not too much choice of beer, but the Stella was good. The food we tried was amazing, shared Himalayan lamb kebabs, which were delicious. I had the Naga Shatkora chicken which was perfect and just the right amount of chilli heat. Lovely surrounding inside and friendly staff make it special..

Lovely little restaurant. Did enjoy the ambience and decor. As it was my first trip was a little uncertain about the food but, it sure was delicious. The only thing I would say is that the portions were small for the money charged.

A great selection of vegan food! I've visited several times over the last three years and enjoyed each time. A little outside the usual city centre radius but worth the walk.

Decent service, food is good quality. Only issue is on valentines they offer a set menu which can be limiting, plus I needed dairy free and gluten free options. They had a vegan dessert available but brought me out a dairy one, I had to checkb if it was the vegan one, which it wasn't, to which I was told they don't have a vegan option. They did deduct it from the bill as they couldn't provide me with an alternative so I appreciated that but then we were billed for another tables bill... again was sorted out but only because I noticed. So service does have some room for improvement. Really like the decor and ambience of the place. They did aim to be as accommodating for me and did offer us drinks on the house too 🙏🏼🥂

We went here just yesterday for my husband's birthday and the owner and waitress were so attentive to all of our needs (16 of us may I add), including all my young nieces. The food was very flavoursome not over-spiced or bland like other restaurants, who think flavour doesn't matter. Everyone had a great time and the head waiter even sang happy birthday and brought the cake over for my husband. 5/5 highly recommend!

What an incredible place!!! The food is amazing so much flavour like curry but at the same time completely different and there are so many vegan options Inc fake meat items. I wish I lived closer so I could go all the time! The staff are lovely so friendly and the cocktails are lethal!!! Service was faultless the place was spotless everyone needs to go here it is brilliant.

Female who greeted us very good customer service & polite she explained cocktail drinks may be limited due to waiting on stock delivery, I was not disappointed the ones i choose were all fine. Very extensive menu spoilt for choice... Food was lovely & tasty good portion sizes and reasonaly priced too. Added bonus couple of large screens to watch the Football. Would recommend 👌.

The momos, the curries, the service, can't fault them whatsoever. The girls here are brilliant. Very attentive and considerate of your needs and wants. Brilliant location, in jewellery quarter. Plenty of bars and shops nearby if choosing to go elsewhere for afters. Brilliant spot. Highly recommended.

Delicious food with an amazing depth of flavour served in good time. Daisy, Anya and Niall were the most gracious hosts and we will be going back again, thank you.

After visiting on Saturday evening, I was unsure about the Nepalese food as it's all new to me, but so glad I did. The food was stunning. Highly recommended if you haven't tried before. Beautiful place, staff were super friendly. Great place for cocktails. Overall can't wait to return

My husband order collection, they didn’t have the chicken momo so settle for vegetable. Before when it had own premises food and service was good, now merged with bar, service not great. Took 5 phone call before answer. Was told to pay over phone, as they won’t make without payment. Passed on to colleague, who said they don’t take payment over phone. It is confusion for no reason. The food quality was still good, but the service is not as good as before. Owner was not there, he give the food service before. My husband said young waiter at front is very polite though.

Google says open for business so I called to book a table but no answer so I thought its just opened or they are late so drove into clean air zone by paying £8. Got to the restaurant and the staff told me that we are open only Friday and Saturday. That's absurd so why is Google hours not updated? He said that he has but not sure why Google isn't showing lol. Bad experience and very bad management

Wow, this place is a little jem, food excellent, cosy and contemporary. Staff so friendly, looked after us, our set meal for five was outstanding, and was totally refreshed as the dishes were eaten. Absolutely recommend this place.

Time from order till the food comes to the table (2 hours on weekdays) We entered at 8:15 and main course arrived at 9:50 pm. Food: Momos was the star dish but the quality and taste is not good any more (probably they lost the chef) When we lost the patience and demanded some action the staff went in the kitchen and got the food right away (We had to do this twice) Biryani was super low with amount of rice (main ingredient of the dish) but the extra gravy was good. I really feel bad for the staff who are trying their best to deliver good service but they are lacking basic skills, food taste and organisation 1 star and 100% never going back!
