Staff were busy due to Covid restrictions, but perfect service with a smile! We tend to change our orders compared to the menu so we're very please that they got everything right! Sweet potatoes fried were a little underdone but edible - everything else was fantastic 😋

The food was devine and i highly recommend. The chefs Craig,Ianthia and Bomie did the harvester proud. In addition, Courtney our server was fantastic and should be recognised for her Tremendous service. Finally, the manager on site on that day was welcoming and always made sure we was happy and enjoyed ourselves. Sadly I didn't catch her name but she was on the 18/08/22 shift she deserves a big thank you !

Good atmosphere and food was good. Ordered at the bar as there was a long wait for table service. Busy place which was good. Nice choice of drinks and menu offered gluten free options. Overall good meal and drinks. Staff were friendly. Plenty of parking too and a good size beer garden. Couple of TV's for watching sports too.

Great food. Friendly staff. Quick service. Lovely venue. Suitable for large groups. Child friendly. Clean toilets. Ample free part. Would highly recommend it. Would definitely go back. We love the unlimited salad and bread rolls and bottomless soft drinks. Harvester favourites now and always.

Went for mother's day and the food as always was lovely, but they seemed to forget about us as we had to ask someone to take our food order after waiting for almost 20 minutes. It was really quiet at the time so I'm not sure what happened. Anyway the staff were really nice and our food arrived quickly. We had a giggle as the pepper shaker had salt in it lol. I took a photo of the chocolate fudge cake as I asked for it to be served cold instead of warm, they did just as I asked and it was awesome!

Popped in for a bit of lunch on Thursday. Food and service was spot on, team attentive and food was fantastic. Chef was called Nathaniel and is a credit to your site. Will definitely visit again when next passing by

Our server Sophie was absolutely fantastic. We had 2 members of our party with requirements one of which being an allergy to orange. Sophie went out of her way to accommodate & made us feel very comfortable & like nothing was too much effort. The food was absolutely amazing too

Amazing experience!! Very helpful & welcoming chefs, waiters & bar staff. Lovely atmosphere & decor. Had the ultimate combo & it did not disappoint! Refillable drinks & free salad + bread and delicious desserts as well as a bunch of different sauces. Ended up taking all leftovers home in takeaway boxes.

I was in the area and visited Harvester for a full breakfast. The service from Sophie was excellent even though it was getting busy. It was a pleasure to see everyone was getting attended to. The food overall was nice. There was one thing that let me down that was the sausages. I realised that the sausages were gluten-free, as with most gluten-free or vegan products, you can normally taste the difference. Sophie was quick to resolve the matter and I enjoyed the rest of my meal. Both the manager and sophie were very accommodating and thanks to the chef for a perfectly cooked breakfast.

Quite lively on the Wednesday evening I went in. No food after 9pm, so I ordered a Peroni for £5.05. I did manage to get food across the road at the Indian restaurant.

Great service, however good was warm, roast potatoes soft, sprouts raw , tiny amount of Christmas pudding with Luke warm custard. No atmosphere whatsoever.Really disappointed. Will not be going there again.

Came because we had a 40% voucher (otherwise food is a tad overpriced). On this occasion food was really good, but the stand out was our server Courtney, really pleasant, cheerful & a credit to the restaurant. Made us feel very valued. Haven’t been for a while but will definitely return.

Good few years since visiting and met up with big group of friends. The only fault I can give was long wait for our big table which was booked ahead of time but long wait to be seated. Once seated the service was fast flowed really great. Bowls for salad bar and then followed by our mains which came out in great time. We had a varied amount of dishes but everyone agreed great portion size for the money and tasted so good. Combos and can change the meals to suit you or have something different. Front of house, bar staff and all colleagues was so fun and served a great atmosphere which was a busy evening. Cannot fault them. We had a great evening 😊

We visited for the first time yesterday for an evening meal. Staff where very welcoming took our drinks order as soon as we sat down at our table. And gave enough time for us to look over the menu. food was absolutely 💯 great and delicious with plenty to eat. would definitely recommend to others for a lovely meal and friendly atmosphere.

It's a harvester so you should know what to expect. Friendly staff and good service overall. Though I felt that the pricing was more than I expected and the portions as good as they were lacked in size 3 prawns on a bird surf and turf ?? However, in these covid times there are some odd things going on. The worst thing is how they seat you when you wish to dine. The tables are spaced enough, yet rather than seat people by maximising the gap between diners by leaving empty tables between then until they are needed they always seat the next arrivals next to an occupied table. 😞, come on please use your common sense and use the available space first. There are areas that you cannot walk near staff only which makes the above seating journey more perplexing. Staff will now serve you the salad cart as it is no longer self service, which is understandable. Worth a visit. Food was good and tasty.

Hadn't been to the Harvester for a long time due to having bad experiences in the past with food being very average. However visited the Arden Oak Harvester to give it a go as there was a new menu and the restaurant had had a bit of a revamp. Wow I was very impressed with the food. I ordered off the evening set menu which was amazing value for money. £13.99 for 2 courses. Went for the chicken tenders with nashville hot seasoning for starter and the chicken was so juicy and tender unlike most tenders when eating out as they can be dry. Went for the dirty burger for main and it did not disappoint. Very tasty well seasoned burger, great cheese and a crispy onion ring and hash brown! Overall it was a very enjoyable experience and will definitely be returning to try more of the main menu items as they've got some new great dishes 😊 my only negative would be that the salad bar is still not help yourself, it is done by a member of staff. Hopefully soon it can go back to serve yourself.

Came in for a quiet meal in the bar after a business trip. Was not disappointed! I was starving by and tucked in before the photo, but the food was beautifully presented, the steak was mouth watering! Team were professional and friendly overall a great visit, will certainly return on any future trips

10 minutes to be seated. After further 25 minutes still nobody had came to take our order, shouldn't happen at anytime let alone 9am. Went down the road to the toby carvery and got excellent service and food

Visited the Arden Oak with my wife and tiny boy Jesmond. While sadly our conversation was not a happy one - my wife wants to move away with Jesmond - the food was delightful. "Oh father," said Jesmond, "this burger is scrumptious" In fact, every item on the menu was scrumptious, plated up with care and brought to the table by a very friendly waitress. Overall a sterling experience, and I will get family back. I have to.

I popped in after a long walk and was greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff. My coffee and lunch were delicious and excellent value for money, and I was really happy with the salad bar too. Good Covid compliance, I felt safe and distanced enough from other diners. The restaurant is clean and the decor is really nice. I would highly recommend!

Stopping in the area for a few weeks and gone in here most nights. Great food, great drinks, top quality service. Nothing was too much to ask for from the staff and management. Shout out to chef Jacasta, great work chief ✊
