The
International
Convention
Centre
is
somewhat
anonymous
on
the
outside
and
the
entrance
(that
we
used)
was
not
particularly
impressive.
Maybe
we
didn't
experience
the
full
wonder
of
the
building,
but
we
did
spent
quite
a
bit
of
time
in
the
atrium,
The
Symphony
Hall,
the
reception
areas
outside
the
Symphony
Hall
and
some
of
the
rooms
on
the
other
side
of
the
atrium.
The
interior
of
the
Conference
Centre
uses
the
steel
structure
as
a
design
feature
and
is
painted
blue.
The
lifts
and
stairs
fit
in
around
the
supporting
structure
and
are
glass
sided
so
that
the
light
and
views
within
the
building
are
not
obstructed.
The
building
is
fully
accessible
and
works
well
as
a
social
space
on
a
wet
and
windy
day
in
late
October.
There
were
a
lot
of
people
in
the
building
(OU
Degree
Conferment
Ceremony),
but
it
never
felt
too
busy
and
the
lifts
and
toilets
never
felt
overwhelmed
and
there
were
no
queues.
The
staff
were
lovely.
I
took
the
opportunity
to
ask
about
the
building
and
also
to
get
directions
and
the
people
I
spoke
with
were
friendly
and
seemed
happy
to
be
working
there.
It
was
interesting
to
get
a
perspective
on
what
had
been
here
and
to
understand
a
little
bit
about
the
people
that
lived
and
worked
in
the
area.
A
really
good
venue
and
if
I
was
still
involved
in
booking
conferences,
hosting
people
from
around
the
world,
I
would
definitely
talk
to
the
people
here.
A
good
place
to
visit.
