The experience was good however due to the rains the crocs decided to stay away. Tour guide was also pleasant and made jokes. Overall good experience.

It was a awesome experience learning a bit of history of the Safari and seeing some of the wildlife Jamaica has to offer. Would definitely recommend doing early morning tours tho because when it gets hot most of the habitats hide in the shades of the mangroves

Had a great experience when I went several years ago so I wanted to return when my kids were older so that they could experience this place as well. Very informative staff which adds to the experience. Call first to learn about the departure times.

It was an awesome experience to date. The staff, including our tour guide, made the experience an unforgettable one. I learned so much that day about crocodiles. They have a small nursery where you can go touch them and take pictures. It is right in the town of Black River and within walking distance of the well-known Las Vegas seafood restaurant. Secure parking is available and the entry fee is reasonable, but they have specials for groups.

Great time spent here. It's a nature tour. Easy access for all. Some alligators can be called by name. Tour guide lives in area and is almost as old as George.....lol. so what I was getting at is the you will get a very knowable tour. Why the river is call what it is. The fisherman channels for crabs, shrimp and more. Nesting birds and not to forget the termite nests. I could go on and on but I would like for you to experience this yourself.

Absolutely NO a place to go. They been feeding the cocodriles for years so, they stay in the area and they know where to find them. Literally you see the 5 they know where they are so it’s a waranty that you will see cocodriles. But the worse part is, they have a “sanctuary” where they keep the individuals they find in someone yard or streets, and keep them there till they grow big, this means at least 10 years, we could understand the purpose so we asked why they do that multiple times and the tour guide didn’t know what to say anymore. They keep them in a very small space, with dirty water, or not even water. But the worse part was, when the tour guide took a elastic band ( he had on the side, so this means they do this often) tight the mouth of this 5 years old small cocodrile. And start passing the animal to the tourist that went also in the tour, I immediately left when I saw this happen, and ask to the woman in the reception if this was a gov company or private service, and yes it’s private. It’s very sad that places that could be doing an amazing job for nature and wildlife are just like this, not caring at all about animals and only thinking about money and people entertainment. I honestly hope that if you’re reading this and really care about wildlife, choose a different option. I put 1 start because I can not give 0.

It was a lot of fun seeing the crocodiles in their natural habits. They also have some on their property

The tour is beautiful and fun. Great birds and crocodiles. Tour guides a lot of fun. We did it in the rain and it was even more magical. They handed our rain coats and we went through the mangroves.

I enjoyed my tour. Best you go with a group since sometimes you'll be waiting for others to full the boat.

Great experience, it was a rainy day but we've still saw the crocodile 🥰 It's like 30$\adult but in my opinion worth. There are only 3 Tours/ day and the last one is at 15h so be there early 😁

This is a nice family activity. The facility was clean and the tour started on time. We got to explore the river and we saw crocodiles in their natural habitat.

Quite touristic and a bit prizy for only one hour. But always great to be out of the water, in the beautiful nature, and seeing these grand creatures in their natural habitat.

We had a tour on 14/11/23 with the company Chuka, our Safari guide/capitain/sailor was GREAT. The tour was informative and he was fun and available with the crowd. Totally recommend the place and the boat tour in the canal. We saw at least 6 crocodiles and some rescued ones in the sanctuary too.

Interesting visit, arrive early as our driver said tour was 12 but it was 12:30pm so had to wait. Wasn't called to now board the boat as we won't called, had to check with the driver what was happening. Said we just get on the boat. Could have been better organised. Once on the boat the tour was interesting to see the crocodiles.
