In terms of space for shopping, clean environment and a variety of items. This store is definitely recommended. But in regards to good customer service. That is off. I don't think some of the workers realize that when you deal with customers, there negative attitude is portrayed through there facial expressions and tone of voice. Some of the cashiers in particularly.

I always enjoyed shopping here BUT this time I ordered quite a few different parcels of meats, apparently the young man at the counter forgot to label 1, I didn't realize either. Half way through checkout, the Cashier with a nasty attitude demanded me back to the counter to get that 1 parcel labeled if I need it. So I guess I should've left unmonitored my cashed goods and go back to label the cheapest product. She could've easily extended customer service and asked an available staff to get it labeled for the customer to purchase just liked she ask "Michael" a staff to return it to the meat room. I was also using a BNS Mastercard to pay, she used other bank machines to run the card which failed but refused to call for the BNS Machine and demanded me to the ATM to get the cash instead. This morning was a total turn off for me with the poor level of thinking/customer service. We must realize that customers have plenty of options these days and now I will consider taking my business elsewhere because of the embarrassment I had to face today. After spending thousands here monthly, the least she could do was to extend common courtesies....

The experience at this supermarket is always good because the staff is very friendly and helpful. The store is always clean and the shelves are neatly stocked with everything you can imagine and need. They accept both cash and cards. There is wheelchair access available as well. It is located in the historic town of Black River, St. Elizabeth. It is just a short distance from the famous Black River Safari and Las Vegas seafood restaurants. Customer parking is limited somewhat, though. If you need assistance with your bags to your vehicle, that is available, just remember to tip. A Scotia ABM is right next door in case you need to draw cash, and it's Multi-Link. The town of Black River was the first town in Jamaica to have electricity, which was supplied by the Leyden brothers in 1893..

The staff is excellent friendly and courteous they make me feel like am apart of them , especially Marvin, Damian &Tazz ....ms G is one in a million at Christmas time I always get my gift basket as an appreciation for shopping with them through out the year....

This supermarket is good but it would be really better if I could just walk in and get some gluten free bread, gluten free crackers, gluten free pasta etc. I know that many other people out there feel the same way.

Well stocked grocery store. Get all your Jamaican needs. And some great stuff to take home with you, rum, coffee, spices, and jerk seasoning. Yeh mon 😊
