The Mitre

Bar Pub

👍👍 My old Master Gaz recommended The Mitre to me. I was not disappointed... Really friendly welcome from the lady behind the bar. The pub looks clean and tidy. I love all the old photos back in the day too. Will definitely visit next time I'm up there. People often mention staff, great, friendly, Great, visit, people, music,

We went in to this pub on Friday night & ended up in it the 3 nights we were in Blackpool! Great atmosphere & friendly staff & customers. Drink was cheap too. People have commented on the unfriendly barman but if it's the same guy we had, that was his personality. We had a great laugh with him!

Amazing wee pub! Stumbled across it last night and so glad we did! My friends and I had a brilliant night in such a lovely pub! The staff were so friendly, genuinely nice people. Special mention to the owner Kerry and Dave the barman! Love from the Scots! ❤️

Love this little gem of a pub normally but not on Wednesday evening 😢. Usually when you walk in, there is always a bright friendly welcome from the staff . Not on Wednesday evening the barman was totally rude and just couldnt be botherd , we actually cancelled our drinks order and walked out !!!! . Think he needs some training on customer service. Will think twice before going back in .

Was in here last night, for the third time this week. I have never seen a barman with such a bad attitude, rude is putting it mildly. We watched as the anger in his face as people walked into the pub, muttering as serving banging the drinks down to customers. I think he has a problem with tourists as some regulars and when another member of staff came in he was happy with them . Just in case of any confusion, it was the bald, glasses wearing brute, not the young happy lad who was totally different, serving guests with a smile and even carried my drinks to the table as i am dissabled. I heard the landlord had been in residence in here for a long time, pity he cant see someone who is ruining the reputation of his pub.

Great little pub. Friendly and helpful bar staff, toilets impeccably clean and most of all great selection of beers. For music lovers the bar juke box has every type of music to suit all tastes.

Always loved this pub. But when we put £2 in the jukebox and selected rock music and the barmaid skipped my music so didn't actually get to hear it. When I asked the barmaid about this she said that people can pay for "priority play" which is fair enough and true but I heard the intro of my songs start and saw her skip them behind the bar. So overall. Great pub, great beer but don't bother with the jukebox. In my opinion if the bar staff are going to skip songs then they need to remove the jukebox and allow staff to play their playlists instead of customers like me paying £2 to have their music skipped.

Called in for a quick drink and was pleasantly surprised. A lovely pub with a beautiful restaurant. There was a 10 piece band on playing and singing, we really enjoyed it and stayed for more drinks .

Onwards of the best pubs in Blackpool. Usually gets very busy. If the sun is shining it will get packed with a very eclectic group of people. Always a interesting place to be.

Lovely little pub, only popped in for a pint while the Mrs was shopping. Nice beer, nice to sit outside in the Blackpool sun and do a bit of people watching..

Great pub, lovely staff usually. Saturday afternoon ok, but Saturday night the male bar staff after saying he had done a 12 x hr shift was a right ignorant and miserable person. I can understand him after the hours but when you have customers it's damn right rude!

👍 This place is based on "Blackpool Promenade", &, can be found on the left hand side, walking to "South Pier" (that will be on the right). It is also between "North", &, "South Piers"!!! It is a bustling "Wetherspoon" pub, that is generally busy, quietens down, then gets busy again. The only problems...

👍👍 Popped in for a bite to eat and a pint before heading home tonight. Food was as you expect from Weatherspoons. The staff though were so generous and didn't need to be. The barrel for the pint I ordered had just run out whilst doing my pint. So to make up for what was missing I got another half pint...
