I'm usually not one for hidden gems or secret spots. But this is the best culinary surprise I've had in years! Hidden inside a furniture store is Zyanos. The owner has been a chef forever and now runs the bistro where you'd least expect it. The service was great, quickly helped and we had a coffee ready before we could decide on lunch. We couldn't pick one so we were offered to spilt the options and have half on each plate. Spicy chicken on farmers bread and mixed meats on ... Pastry? I forget the name. Both equally delicious and extravagantly dressed with dressing, sauce and herbs. I mean look at the photos, just perfect. Another coffee so we wouldn't pass out from the after lunch dip and back to work. If you are near this place, or even sorta close, go visit! Thanks for the lunch, I will come back soon!

Wat een geweldige zaak. Heerlijk eten, super vriendelijk personeel en een geweldig enthousiaste eigenaar. Een feestje om tijdens het shoppen even op te laden.

The food was amazing! Restaurant level! We especially enjoyed the Lebanese options, though the club sandwich was also very nice!

Het was weer genieten. Heerlijke gegrilde kip salade gegeten. Vooraf gaf de eigenaar aan dat deze best pittig is maar hij was overheerlijk. Fijne bediening, goede sfeer en echt super lekker gegeten. Ze zitten midden in het pand van De Ruijter meubelen dus je moet even naar binnen om dit heerlijke plekje te bezoeken.

Geweldig ervaring gehad door de kok en gastvrouw. Het eten was niet normaal lekker en betaalbaar. Zeker een aanrader ;)

Zeer gastvrij en heerlijk eten, vooral de Turkse gerechten. Echt een aanrader om even te gaan zitten en te genieten.

Wat een aangename verrassing om in een woonboulevard zo ongelofelijk lekker te eten. Heerlijk broodje lamsshoarma gegeten. Super vriendelijke bediening ook. Kom snel terug, ook als je verder niks nodig hebt in de woonboulevard

This place is absolutely fantastic! It's my first time visiting Amsterdam. One of my colleagues at work comes from the Netherlands and he often claims that a sandwich can be a lunch. Me as a Finn and many other colleagues from different cultures don't really agree with him on that. However, the sandwich was absolutely amazing. I think I finally get what my colleague means when he says that. It was a proper lunch and truly delicious. Could definitely recommend.

The best surprise you can ever get. Amazing food, delicious Börek, great quality. The service is also fast and very friendly, family atmosphere 😊 the prices are really fair as well. Can only recommend! Absolute must try!
