The one restaurant we did eat at (Lepelaar) was awful by anyone's standards, i.e. overpriced FEBO-style snack food and a stressed out sandwich bar. They really need to get a restaurant makeover. I refuse to accept that this zoo's patrons do not want higher quality food when they go to the zoo with their families. If Ikea can do it, you can do it too.

Parking is a bit expensive, but the zoo is spacious and nice. However, when we went, there were several repairs going on, so we didn't see much. If you go in the morning when the animals are active, you can even see polar bears joking around.
