We cannot recommend Bolwerk and the midwives there highly enough. Throughout the months of pregnancy they were always kind, attentive and on top of everything. During labour Sophie was there with us and she was amazing! She will always have a special place in our hearts ❤️ She really went above and beyond what could be expected and we are so grateful. She made sure that we had the best possible experience and even went with us in the middle of the night when we had to change hospitals. She supported both my partner and me and was also just great company :) THANK YOU!

The midwives and assistants at Bolwerk supported my partner and I through my first pregnancy. In the months leading up to my son’s birth, checkups with the midwives gave me calm and confidence. These ladies are passionate about what they do and are very professional. I can’t speak highly enough of our experience with Sophie during my labor. My special requests which I included in my birth plan were adhered to, despite being uncommon practice here in the Netherlands.

The Bolwerk team exceeded my expectations as a midwife practice during my pregnancy and especially during my delivery. I am originally from the US and always had the idea I would deliver with and meet with an obstetrician and the idea of a midwife was rather foreign to me. The team at Bolwerk made me feel completely comfortable and knowledgeable during my pregnancy even though I was not meeting with an obstetrician as is common in the US. As a foreigner I was also very impressed with the level of each lady's english and the amount of english content that was available. My husband and I were able to take a private labor class offered separately by Sophie which also allowed us to get to know her better. During my labor, Sophie happened to be on-call and was extremely helpful, calming and professional. It was a comforting feeling to have gotten to know (a bit better) the mid-wife that would deliver my child. She followed my birth plan and made my entire labor experience extremely positive. After my birth, the Bolwerk team continued to check-in and in addition to executing their professional obligations they all seem to genuinely care about their patients and work. I would highly recommend the Bolwerk team for your pregnancy journey! I will certainly be using them again for any future pregnancies!

Highly recommended, all the midwives are very professional and supportive. You can count on them in case of any emergency. Because of bolwerk I felt very secure during my pregnancy!

I don't know how I can describe the great support I had from Bolwerk throughout my pregnancy, during delivery and after delivery. They are very caring, warm and always available for you. They take time to get to know you so you don't feel like a random client. You can see they love their job :) I'd like to thank the entire team Sophie, Nienke, Charlotte and especially Joyce! I'll never forget your guidance during the delivery and your encouragement. You are family now! Thanks to Nienke for special care at home when jaundice caught us off guard, Sophie for checking in with me every other day about the recovery and progress of the baby, and Charlotte for visiting us after hospital to make sure we are on good track with recovery and breastfeeding! I'd highly recommend Bolwerk for any mamas-to-be!

totally recommend the Bolwerk midwives for a nice pregnancy and birth experience!! I was so happy with all the support given by all the midwives, as everyone was very open to help 24/7 with calm & good advice.

Wow ! I still have no words what support I've received from the ladies at Bolwerk. I had the pleasure to see both Sophie and Ninke few times and it was easy, informative and relaxed. They made me feel welcomed from the first visit up until the delivery. I would def recommend this practice !! Thank you all.

I am happy I chose this practice! Midwives were nice,helpful and patient. My pregnancy went along fine without any problem so eventhough i didn't have many questions, they still explained what was expected in every month. When the delivery started happened during night and I am very thankful that they were so punctual. I recommend Bolwerk praktijk :)

Could not have asked for a better experience. The ladies from Bolwerk Verloskundigen are super professional yet friendly and caring and it felt like being part of a family of women supporting each other, also post birth!

It's only a shame I didn't get the feeling to get to know all of the midwifes, but on Dday the midwife I had (Charlotte) made me feel so safe and at peace it didn't really matter. Questions throughout the pregnancy were always answered, appointments were punctual, and they didn't hesitate to make it easy for us by speaking english

I recently gave birth and was supervised by Bolwerk practice midwives. All I can tell you is that I recommend them wholeheartedly. Bolwerk Midwives Practice was simply the best from start to end. What fantastic care our family was provided with. The staff handled our expat family with ease, english was no problem at the appointments and information was always provided in english where possible. The staff understood our needs and the care was second to none. We were looked after by all the team and loved each and every midwife.
