Friendly staff, no rushing and a nice place to sit along the canal. Food was great as well and came out super fast.

Really nice lunch on the terrace here last week, right on the canal in the lovely sunshine. A couple of beers, really tasty club sandwich, smoked salmon salad. Food really tasty and the girls were very friendly and attentive in service!

Stumbled upon this place early December and so glad we did... we'll visit again in the summer on our next trip.. delicious 😋

The right ambiance (warm interior & appropriate lighting), friendly and attentive service, innovative cuisine with some nice Dutch touches and appropriately priced.....the key to success We selected the 3 course dinner(the starter of which was smoked beetroot/apple syrup/mustard seeds, the main course a very tender duck breast and a heavenly dessert with passionfruit coulis, further enhanced by some pre-dinner Dutch speciality "bitterballen" and an amuse bouche (offered by the restaurant) as well as cheese platter. All food was well presented and exquisite ! Our compliments to the chef, Jerome and his lovely partner who ensured we had a great dinner Definitely a venue recommended to those after an interesting culinary experience at great value for money

It was not bad and it was t good. Sm e cause we had not visited before we asked for menus for drinks to help us choose and then asked for menus to choose dinner. You know how you make ceviche for guests and there' some left over so you save it for lunch the next day and then you eat it because fish is expensive and if you have enough tortilla chips to cover up the fishy smell it tastes okay? My ceviche was like that, except there weren't any chips.

In a fantastic spot overlooking the canal and swing bridge, when the weather warms up a little the outside tables will be great, we were lucky enough to get a window table so the best of both worlds. Great food good wine and beer and a charismatic host a very enjoyable lunch.

How wonderful to finally have a good restaurant in Haarlem where the quality of the food actually justifies the price! The starter of focaccia and miso butter was delicious. We both had the pulled duck tagliatelle, which tasted like the pasta we used to eat in Florence. The dessert was also delightful, a chocolate "potje" that looked like it came out of a Beatrix Potter book and with an edible pot. Ambiance is cosy and tastefully done, will definitely be coming back!

The vibe outside is amazing with a beautiful view on the canal, especially in the evening with all of the lights. Food was extremely delicious, we tried gambas, chicken saté, gnocchi and chocolate mousse. Can recommend all of these dishes from the heart. Thank you!

Great restaurant with amazing staff and delicious food! We really enjoyed our dinner here and will be back next time when visiting Haarlem! Highly recommended

It was at mid December, so harsh for atmosphere review. But, even with not many people around, they made it warm! For everything else, it was excellent! I chose the tenderloin, an amazing piece of meat with a really tasty orange purée! Well worth it! I walked away thinking, when am I going back again!

Food is good and the staff are accommodating. The view from terras is amazing! I could sit there and drink wine all day.

The beef burger was wonderful. Really had a good meal and beautiful view of the canal. Loved the music and ambience too.

Great little gem on the canals in the city centre of Haarlem. Amazing food, wine and staff. Kitchen very happy to cater towards my gluten free diet 🙌🏻. Would definitely recommend.

I tried beef tataki on brown bread toast. Both the beef and the toast taste so nice. The sauce matches the toast perfectly. Of coz enjoying lunch with such beautiful view is a bonus. Definitely recommend.
