I took members of my Gospel Choir to King's Table on the Martin Luther King Holiday. We had a great fellowship. The restaurant had a long table in the middle that accommodated 20 people and side tables for the overflow. The service was quick, the food was delicious, the waitress were kind and service orientated. They handled our group with no errors with our multiple orders. The owner- Mr. White found time to greet our group and welcomed us to come back. I ordered the Early Bird breakfast with coffee. I will be back in the next few days.

Service was great, dining area was clean, and food was pretty good. Fried chicken and meat loaf was good. The pork chops were slightly overdone. Great atmosphere all around. Love listening to some old school R&B jams. Worth stopping by if you’re passing through.

I don’t think I’ve ever left a review before. Fried chicken is my favorite food and I’ve been on a quest to find the best fried chicken in KC. I think I found it. Crispy juicy but not greasy with a great seasoning in it. They had kind of cornbread that is cooked like a pancake and served with honey that was amazing. And the service was super friendly. I’ll be back.

This place right here! The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The people and service is GREAT! Even with masks on you knew there was a continuous smile behind it. The food will not disappoint extremely flavorful and seasoned to a T!! Reminds me of my Grandma cooking. My husband and I came in to KC for a Sunday night Chiefs game. We stopped in before the game and he ordered neckbone, yams, mac n cheese, greens and I had fried pork chops, black eyed peas and cabbage. Baaaby ... PERFECTION. Hats off to the Chefs!!. So good we returned the next day before heading home to STL for more. Breakfast, my husband had bacon/sausage, egg and potatoes and me, I had SHRIMP AND GRITS. All I can say Mmmm Mmmm Mmm. I even took some of this home cooked good food home to my Moma. If you've eaten here before, you know exactly what I'm talking about. If you've never been - stop in and give them a try, I promise, you will leave full and with a satisfied belly. We will definitely visit King's Table Soul Food when we visit KC again. If I could give 100 stars, I would. Next we are wanting to try their fried ribs🙂. Pics are of our breakfast, sorry had already started to eat lol

My husband I went in and ordered take out on Sunday. Service was AMAZING from start to finish and we ordered our food to go. I had Catfish with green beans, black eye peas, cornbread, peach cobbler and sweet tea. My husband had a cheese burger with fries and chocolate cake. Everything was delicious and the service was amazing. My husband ate my left overs and loved everything as well. We plan to go back this weekend. If you are on the fence about trying this place out, get off the fence and go!!! Two thumbs up🥳

This place is a dream come true 🤤. We had breakfast there yesterday and it was the best we’ve ever had. I ordered the country fried steak, with scrambled eggs and fried potatoes, I loved it!. My husband ordered chicken and waffles, I still can’t decide which one was best, booth were delicious!!!! My daughters ordered pancakes and scrambled eggs, I couldn’t believe it when I saw they finished their food!! They never ever finish anything, my 3 yr old was even eating from my plate 😅. The service is just as good as the food, the ambience is great and you can just feel how happy everyone is. I wish I could come here every week.

Definitely a must go to if your in Kansas City. The soulfood is like mama used to make. The service is excellent shot out to KB and Ella seen in picture. Great black owned and operated business that will not disappoint you. This is the soulfood restaurant where you can listen to the classic music of Whispers, OJays, Regina Bell and much more.

5 stars for the fact that when I walked in I could feel the love and positive energy! I didn't get the pleasure of eating here but I was working a Door dash; just picking up an order for delivery. But the food smelt amazing and the prices were easy on the pocket! BUTT The love and prompt attention was incredible. I hope to make it back that way soon to actually try the food to post a review for that as well...but I pick up from many restaurants, and the love and great energy in y'all's was outstanding and something that many restaurants don't possess. So whatever heart you have going on I hope y'all never lose! Cause it was beautiful ❤️🙏

Now listen! If you want some real soul food like G mah used to make, come on down to kings table where I found that authentic taste from flavors that satisfies my soul. Now I know why they call it soul food. You can get the satisfaction you crave at the kings table.

I can honestly say this is the absolute best food I have ever eaten. Pork chops, greens, Mac and cheese, corn bread dressing, yams for breakfast and it was fresh all was INCREDIBLE! The manager told me they have been in business for 6 years! This place is a hidden treasure. I consider myself somewhat of a foodie and I am very picky. Thank you all so much for the fantastic breakfast. I appreciate you.

They're always nice and accommodating. The food is okay but it's mainly the service that makes this place great. They now have a bar as well.

I ordered the Smothered Pork Chops with Greens, Yams and cornbread. Cornbread dressing and Hawaiian Rolls. I didn’t get the dressing, rolls nor cornbread delivered to me. The pork chops were tender and it stops there. There was NO TASTE! The greens were straight out the can with NO TASTE & the yams were descent. These maybe southern dishes but this is definitely not southern cooking!!! Southern dishes have flavor and you can tell the food was prepared by someone who actually enjoys cooking. I didn’t get any of that eating this food. It’s definitely nothing to brag about.

Fried Pork chops instead of the smothered I ordered. Mac and cheese was soup. Bones in the greens. So disappointed. I was so excited to try this place.

Tossed food in the trash😔. They closed early due to the super bowl ( sure wish they would have turned us away). The pork chops were hard and dry and the gravy tasted spoiled. If they were not closed I would have definitely taken them back. Fish was undercooked. The service was good. I want my $16.20 back 😫 . It must have been a bad day since I've heard only good.

Long weekend in KC, best meal I had by far. Amazing fried chicken, awesome sides, cornbread was off the hook! Don't sleep on the sweet tea either.

This place was an interesting find in KCMO. I had been hearing about it for a while and finally stopped in. I must say the food came so fast, I was shocked. I had the Baked Chicken and Dressing with Mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans. The Chicken was so juicy and tender, it fell off the bone. Like I said, i had been hearing about it and was glad to finally try it.
