Shoshi
Café
&
Food
Bar
is
the
latest
of
restaurant/cafes
along
East
Commercial.
From
being
just
opened
it's
still
a
project
underway,
still
in
the
making,
but
a
really
good
one
with
lots
of
promise
to
it.
It
provides
spacious
comfortable
distance
seating
with
a
really
cozy
understatedly
pleasant
décor.
And
beyond
being
attractive
it
is
spotlessly
clean;
the
floor
even
glistens
with
a
high
polish.
Shoshi
has
a
good
menu
with
more
choices
than
those
of
the
simple
café.
It
has
a
great
selection
of
coffees,
teas,
juices,
and
smoothies
such
as
the
deliciously
thick
Main
Beach,
which
I
had,
consisting
of
mango,
strawberry,
banana,
and
lemon.
Then
there
are
a
good
number
of
wraps,
including
a
Veggie,
a
series
of
bowls
allowing
you
to
make
choices
of
bases,
Vegetables,
and
Proteins.
Unfortunately
no
liquor
license
yet,
so
no
beer
or
wine.
They
also
offer
for
sale
varying
unique
coffees,
crackers,
jarred
peppers,
bottles
of
vinegar,
and
oils.
Literally
a
whole
series
of
special
treats.
I
purchase
a
truffle
oil
which
I
later
used
to
make
some
truffle
fries
and
also
to
add
a
slight
enhancement
to
a
foie
gras.
And,
it
proved
to
be
one
of
the
better
truffle
oils
I've
used.
Overall
Shoshi
is
a
really
great
place
and
its
owner,
Tony,
couldn't
be
more
helpful,
friendly,
attentive,
kind
or
polite.
His
personality
indeed
adds
a
lot
to
the
pleasure
of
being
at
Shoshi
Café
&
Food
Bar,
a
place
that
may
soon
become
a
Five
Star.
