Several things that make people attracted are the atmosphere, they build a waterfall along with the river right at the middle of the restaurant. A famous sundanese restaurant in town! It located in the heart of Bogor city, no wonder why this place is incredibly crowd, especially in lunch time. You need sometime to wait before they find your seats. It is better of you do prior reservation if you have problem with waiting time. Food tastes are just fine and menus are variatif. They also has package menu which ease people in group to order. Eventhough the crowd is over the place, the ambiance still feel good because they have mini waterfall that soothe the air. They also has a small playing corner for kids, although I am questioning on the cleanliness level. Price are moderate, since it located in the touristic area and in the center of the town. Park is challenging, because it often full but for elderly, they can drop off right in the restaurant main entrance. Praying room also available. Kids can have fun by seeing fish in the ponds. Worth to try! Especially with your big family.

My first time visiting this restaurant (Halal) . Unsure of what this restaurant serves.. So I just went there and was surprised by their seating arrangements aka Lesehan (sitting on the floor). Though this restaurant was located in the Bogor city area.. yet, their design focused on the back to nature ambience/feeling. Can you just imagine savoring those foods with the sounds of waterfalls and sitting on the floor accompanied by the koi fish around the pond just makes the meal more delicious. The service was great, all of the waiters were friendly, quick and professional too. I would rate the highest for the atmosphere and service, as for the food, personally for me it's just acceptable. I would recommend this place for family and friends gathering because of the ambience and service.. It's a proper restaurant for casual, semi casual and formal occasions.

Very recommended for family lunch/dinner because the place is large and provide children play ground. Parking lot is also quite big for many cars. Wonderfully atmospheric restaurant featuring traditional Indonesian food options. Every dish was quite nicely seasoned and prepared. Definitely recommend the roast chicken which was tender and moist, and used a local chicken varietal, so you may get ‘chicken drunk’ if you’ve never had fresh non-GMO chicken before. Service was definitely slow, it might be something common in Indonesia, but appetizers, mains and drinks all came out at the same time after nearly a 20 minute wait. The environment is stunning, featuring thatched roof huts for each group and floor seating over an in built grotto and lake. The live musical accompaniment was a bit loud for my taste, but you can always be asked to be seated a bit far away. There’s also a kids play area, so if you’re planning a family outing they’re included as well.

This is a great sundanese restaurant. There's a lot of cuisine selection. The cuisine might taste great, but nothing particularly special. Their signature Gurih 7 sauce are great, taste like thai sauce including shredded mango. The place might be hot but since its on the outdoor. But the hut are wide and comfortable. Overall the service also good because they have a lot of server stand ready.

I visited Gurih 7 at around 11 AM. It was pretty empty but soon around 5-10 minutes a lot customer came for lunch. Overall the ambience of the place is a 10/10 for me. It really boost up the experience for a Sundanese restaurant for sure. There is a fish feeding activities for all members of your family (You could buy fish food in the cashier). This place is very family friendly. The seating arrangements here are what Indonesian call "Lesehan" means sitting on a wooden floor of a "Saung". There will be a short table in front of you. Note that the parking spot will be limited in times of lunch or dinner.

The place is huge but the parking area is quite small. The ambience is very nice. The food is delicious but for me the fish size is too small only around 500gr/portion I think. The service is really good, although it was crowded we didn't wait too long for the food to come.
