I have never liked oxtail soup before, until I went to this place. It was so good that I ate two portions of soup with 4 plates of rice to accompany it. I went to a few oxtail soup's restaurant which are claimed to be related with the legendary "Mak Emun" but so far this place tastes the best. The hot orange drink is also tasted good. Unfortunately, Payments can only be made with hard cash.

If you need something soupy in a rainy day while in Bogor, do come here to taste authentic oxtail soup with peanut sauce and special pickles.Come earlier to avoid crowd in peak hours, they only have 9 tables.They claim as a descendants of Mak Emun, a well known owner oxtail soup restaurant in Bogor area.

It is an authentic Bogor style of Sop Buntut. Cant go wrong with this Sop Buntut specially broth is very tasty. Without it, your visit to Bogor is meaningless

Hai.. hai.. today we have a special food for brunch. It is call Oxtail Food (Sop Buntut). It is located in Bogor City and its called sop buntut Mamg Endang. Its quite famous and i would say it’s one of the best Oxtail Food i’ve ever ate. Place : its very easy to find, but since it place in the very crowded area, it will be quite difficult to park your car. Ambient : just like a regular traditional resto. Food : off course you have to order oxtail soup. Its very tender and tasty. The pickel also very good, not to sour, but not top sweet also. Drink : nothing special, just tea. Overall, if i’m on a diet, than this soup will beat me. There are many oxtail soup resto in Bogor. Some people said that Mang Endang is better than other. For me, Mang Endang is the only oxtail soup in Bogor that i’ve ever taste. At least until this review been written.

The name Ma'emun comes from the name Siti Maemunah, the founder who was called Mak Emun by the children and people around him. In stalls that inherit the recipe, the name Mak Emun is written as Ma'unun. The distinctive feature of Ma'emun oxtail soup is that its oxtail meat is soft and is able to detach from its bones, but still leaves a little chewy taste. Although very soft, the appearance of the meat when served seems fresh with the inside still showing a slightly reddish color.

Nice taste, fair price. Difficult to park in office hour.

The oxtail soup is very good. The flesh melts in your mouth and fits well with the soup. It is a really perfect combination to fill an empty stomach during the day.

Found this place accidentally when we tried to find breakfast place early 8.30 am in Bogor area. We order soto and oxtail soup, the soto and soup has light taste not heavy as usual, the meat is tender. For those like light soup might like this, for me i like thicker soup with more spices

At least 3 places claim descendants of Mak Emun, oxtail soup master famously known in Bogor. I often come to 2 places, this places and at Bangbarung. If you prefer less fat, then you should visit Bangbarung, but if you are OK with a bit fat meat and rich soup, then this Sop Buntut Mang Endang is recommended. Taste is strong and richer then others, other favorite is onion-garlic pickles and peanut sauce sambal only serve at this place to accompany main dish oxtail soup. Resto not so big, only have 9 table for 36 persons, so expect full and come a bit early or late from lunch time. Delicious and recommended traditional food restaurant.

Great experience dining here. A down to earth place, hiding some great cuisine of meats. Sop buntut for only 65k. The meats are tender and juicy.
